Managing to snag the cannon cat, Jericho made sure he had a pretty firm hold onto it.
"Alright lets get this thing out of here," he murmured while making his way towards the door. Opening it up, he just kind of threw it out unceremoniously before closing the door again.
"You sure that's all there is in here?" frowned Shun, who was still looking a little on edge. Mot was looking around for others, and he couldn't imagine there would be too many places for the critters to hide, but one could never be too sure.
"Well.. we'll find out sooner or later unfortunately. Got anything Mot?"

Mot peeked over the shoulder upon hearing the yowl of a flung cat. Would tossing them in the hallway be effective? Well, not as if there was much of any other choice.
The reaper continued to peek under furniture for signs of feline activity. "No... but I hear something.. somewhere." Mot tried to stop moving enough to listen harder to whatever noise he was hearing, kneeling on the ground. "...Purring? Like... a lot of purring..."

"Purring?" Jericho frowned before looking around, "Yo! Flamethrower! You around here?"
He wanted to make sure it wasn't his own cat in here that was making that noise. After a moment or so, the firebreathing cat could be seen at the entrance to the kitchen, away from where Mot was.
The dragon had his doubts the reaper would be able to hear the cat purring from that far off.
"... There's gotta be more in here," he murmured warily.
"Perhaps we should leave," Shun grumbled.

So, Jericho's feline was in a completely different area of the room. It could not have been that which was the source of the purring. Mot nodded to Shun's advice, standing back up and heading towards the boils.
"Yeah, good idea. Should we leave a note for Riley that she has an infestation, or would our having been here put her off?" He asked, starting to head towards the door. Last thing he needed was Riley as an enemy.

"Well... I pretty much have free reign of her room, otherwise I wouldn't have her key," Jericho said while rubbing his chin, "I don't think she'd mind too much since you guys are with me and we're just seeking refuge. Though chances are that she's already well aware of this infestation."
The dragon let out a sigh with this thought. His poor friend just couldn't get rid of the damn cats. Even though Flamethrower had been trained to ward them off, the little guy just probably couldn't deal with all of them all the time.
"But if we happen to find any other cats we should try and dispose of them," he sighed.

He had an idea that Riley and Jericho were pretty tight. Having a spare key? Confirmed. "Got it." Mot said, walking past Jericho, only to step on something... that was not ground. Kind of furry... a tail? And it yowled. And jumped up on his thigh. And dug it's claws into his jeans, where his chaps failed to protect.
"OOOW!!! JACKDAMNIT!!" Looking down, there was another Canon Cat attached to his leg. Mot winced in pain as he grabbed the feline and chucked it across the room, sending it flying into a wall. The sudden splat cause another cat to come out of hiding from underneath some furniture and escape into another part of Riley's dorm, hiding beneath the bed.

When Mot suddenly cried out, Shun looked over to see that the cowboy now had a Canon cat attached to his leg. Before long, more were starting to come out. There was even a hissing noise coming from behind him. Slowly he glanced over his shoulder, only to have a cat that wasn't Ziggy pounce his face with full fury.
"AUGH!" he cried out while trying to pry the cat off of his face.
"Tiamat's s**t, we're too late!" Jericho hissed as more critters came about, out of their hiding place. One had decided to pounce on him from behind to try and sharpen its claws on his wings.
"AAAAAAHHH" he roared while slamming his wing against the wall to get the cat off of him.

Oh crap! They were everywhere now! And ATTACKING!? Mot wanted to summon his gun, but with so much chaos, he was afraid of destroying Riley's belongings. s**t!
One was on Shun's face, and another on Jericho's wing. Hell had broken loose in Riley's room. Feline hell. Another two cats came zipping around Mot's feet when he attempted to help Shun, causing Mot to trip onto his a**.
Oh no.
He was on their level now!
Five more cats attacked, scratching and headbutting the cowboil. "FffffThat's it!!" Mot whipped a few cats off of him, one he threw at the cat on Shun's face. He manged to get to his feet, running to Jericho to get the cat off of his wing... and the couple more making a scratching post on the dragon's back. "Skellington Jack..." He pried the cats off for him, chucking them away. "She seriously needs an exterminator or something. Can we leave now?!"

While Jericho managed to get that one cat off of him, about three more went and flew at him. He swatted one out of the way, but the other two latched onto his scaled hands. Well, he supposed it was a good thing he had a little extra protection there, but that didn't stop it from hurting at all.
Flailing about to try and get them off of him, he gritted his teeth and glanced over towards Mot, feeling the claws from the ones behind him digging into his backside.
"Yeah lets get the hell out of here. Augh! Damn cats!" he growled. Oh if only he could use his firebreath in here. He didn't want to burn down Riley's room though.
Feeling a bit of blood run down the side of his face, Shun hissed in pain before looking to the other two. Before he could really say anything, he saw one cat pouncing towards Mot's head, looking to steal his hat. In the meantime, he kicked one feline out of his way so he could help the others fight off their foes.

Before this point, it had been a battle.
But when the hat was taken from Mot's head by a flying canon cat?
It was war.
Or it would have been, were he a stronger person. Normally, his hat being taken from his so forcibly would have stricken the reaper into a paralyzed or weakened mental state.
This day was no different, evidently.
The moment the hat was off of his head, it was as if someone unplugged his power cord. Mot stood there, frozen in place, shaking like a leaf on a breeze. His baggy eyes were wide, most of his face covered by his hair. Still, he looked something like this...
<((((( O__O ))))>
The canon cats had successfully taken out one of the boil offenders. Since Mot was rendered useless in combat, a few of the cats took to crawling up the boil and latching on to him like some kind of kitty play land.

Just as Shun arrived to the others, he saw Mot practically go stiff all of the sudden. He had never seen how the guy was with his hat (or without it rather) so he didn't understand what the hell was up with him. All he saw was that the cowboy was practically petrified while cats started to swarm him like mad.
"Mot!" he hissed, "Snap out of it!"
Using his new claws to attack the canon cats all around, Jericho gritted his teeth while he sent one flying to the opposite wall. He too saw how Mot reacted all of the sudden and he didn't quite get it either.
"Jack dammit Mot. Now isn't the time for this!" he growled while starting to pull off cats from the boy to throw them away.

People were talking to him. Saying things. Things directed at him. He should probably listen to them, right? There were still cats. He should uh... defeat the cats? Oh, but he was just one reaper. One lowly reaper. Against the mightiest of minipets.
He blinked slowly, his eyes meeting those of a cat on the floor a few feet away.
Gee, it was wearing a really nice ha----
...
Suddenly, without warning and like lightning, Mot leaped forward onto the ground and grabbed the hat from the fashionable cat. The cat was not pleased, but could do little since once the hat was back on Mot's head, the reaper grabbed the cat by the back and hoisted it up. Now standing, and definitely not a frozen coward.
"Right. Sorry." Mot said belatedly, pretending that whole situation did not just happen. The recently de-hatted cat in his grasp hung limp, with a grouchy look on it's furry face.

Jericho pried off the cats that were gnawing on him and throwing them down. He was getting more and more annoyed with these damn things. Put a few scratches and dents into his scales they did. The dragon also went ahead and stomped on one or two out of anger since he couldn't actually burn any of them.
"Er.. welcome back Mot. What the hell just happened there?" he asked while glancing to the cowboy.
It seemed that once he had managed to snag his hat back, Mot's composure returned. Shun furrowed his brow a bit at this, not quite understanding what that entailed. It was a bit confusing to him, but he had bigger things to worry about. Like the cat that decided that his calf looked tasty.
Gritting his teeth in pain, he kicked out to try and get it off of him, but the cat's bite was firm.

"Nothing." Mot muttered defensively, adjusting his hat again and tossing the captured cat behind him. Evidently, he did not feel like sharing. Given the situation, it didn't seem best anyway, unless the cats loved sappy stories of self-confidence issues.
"Anyway. I don't want to leave all these things for Riley to deal with. Isn't there anything we can do?" Mot swivelled on his heel as he heard Shun hiss in pain, kneeling to grab that cat from the fellow reaper's leg. Ripping the cat from him might damage his lef further, so he scratched under the cat's chin, trying to soothe the wild beast into submission.

Still batting away a cat here and there, Jericho frowned as Mot did present a good thing before them. These things were a plague for his best friend and to just leave them here didn't sound right. However, the main alternative he could think of that didn't involve too much destruction of her room wasn't too favorable.
Wait.
"Actually I have an idea!" Jericho smirked. He was about to say something but was cut off as a cat pounced on him from behind. Letting out a shout, he grabbed it and whipped it towards the door quickly, then turned back towards the Reaper boys.
"Maybe we can lure them out. We'll be chased by minis again but.. maybe... just maybe if those Philips are still outside..."
