Aristol nodded, "he let's us go into town, and gives us a dead line for whn we need to be back by. But since your new, he'd go out with you." aristol considered the request, then pursed his lips. "I don't mind, but you'd have to ask Devion about going up there with me. Wouldn't want you up there and him not liking it."

Aristol opened his mouth to say that he would ask Devion, but just then Devion came out from the shadows and set a hand on Eriks head. "you like the ocean, hmm?" he smiled at Erik, "Aristol can take you up there. But I want him far away from that witch. Not even to get away from me and my wrath." his eyes were narrowed and his voice got more and more threatening with each passing word. Then he turned and walked out.

Aristol swallowed, looking after Devion, "Oops." he looked back at Erik, "I'll take responsibility for that. That's not even as scary as he can be." he sighed, "but you can come up with me. Not tonight though, tomorrow night you can. Oh, and I'd stay away from Charlie for now. It'd only make Devion more angry."

Aristol thought a moment, he kinda felt bad for Erik. He didnt know Devion like the rest of the crew did. Devion has a reason for things he does. But sometimes its hard to see it. "You can come up to the crows nest with me tomorrow. I guess after a tour you can stay up there for the rest of the day while i do my work." he wasnt sure if that would help Erik at all.

Aristol pressed his lips together, "Why don't you like Devion? Yes he did take you without your will, and yes he did make you choose between you life, slavery and being on the crew." he paused. "yeah, that does seem pretty bad." he paused again, "but why are you scared? If he wanted to harm you or torture you, he'd have already don't it."

Aristol pursed his lips, he knew Devion could be scary, but he'd been around Devion all his life so he couldn't understand the running away from him thing completely. "well, it's HIS ship in the middle of the ocean, so there isn't much you can run that he can't get to you. I think it's best to try and get used to him, if he wants you, he'll do everything he can to have you." he paused, "But I can see that he wants you to get used to it here." he thought more about what Seth had said, "it's a fight or flight sort of thing right? Well, what if you tried fighting once? It's just an idea."

Aristol sighed, he knew he couldn't understand, but he still wanted to help. "No I don't, but still helps to try and adapted rather then die off." he grabbed a blanket from the cot and tossed it at Erik, "it gets chilly," then he laid down in his own and closed his eyes.

Early the next morning Sebastien woke up, getting up and leaving to do his job. Shortly after Aristol woke to, but he got up and left, but he came back, carrying a tray of food and 2 small sacs that had food scents coming from it. He poked Erik til he woke, "hey, I have to give the cap'n his food, you can come along to, but if you don't want to, you and wait on deck for me to get back." tossing him one of the bags he had, "that's yours, if you want to climb up with me, wouldn't want to be carrying a bowl full of soup. That's not what that is but still. It's better this way." he stood.
