Oi Oi Vati give me a beer Oi Oi Mutti, Oi Oi Mutti I can't forget the flavor of that wurst I had before Ludwig Damn. He was tempted to beg for Maureen to join since she seemed like the kind of person that would get along well with Romano.... Tempted, but not to a point where he seriously considered it. Get Romano to become friends with some one shouldn't be forced. Besides, maybe if she gave the impression that she hated Ludwig as much as he did, then Romano would want to just naturally drift towards her and leave him alone. Plus, who wants to let Romano catch them begging for any one's company? That would give the Italian too much of a chance to make fu of them.
"Suit yourself, then."
The blonde cleared some room for Arthur to sit on the other side of him before he pulled out some paper, a pencil, a pen, and his reading glasses. He sat each neatly in a spot and sat with his hands folded in his lap as he waited for the teacher to come in. Please let this be more of an art history class than one where he had to draw... Please don't let Romano get to see just how pathetically he drew... Not on the first day...
He looked to Arthur and then to the girl. So they knew each other? ... Maybe that's why she wasn't keen on joining. No disrespect to the man, but Arthur seemed to have about as much luck making an keeping friends as Ludwig did. If the world wasn't out to get Ludwig, then it was surely out to get Arthur.... Maybe that's part of why he wanted his company. You know, besides the fact that he seemed to be the most level-headed one in the class at this very moment. He would have invited Alfred, but he wasn't sure how the American thought about him (even though he seemed to be great friends with Kiko, so they should be able to be friends by default, right?). Though, with one seat open, maybe Fratello would be able to sit there, assuming he made it to Junior year, and Kiko could sit near by, assuming he didn't skip ahead to Senior year.
"You seem to know more people here than I do, Arthur... Is she one of your neighbors?" "One night, I couldn't sleep well and opened my eyes...to find some strange guy staring at me." "The hell are you doing, Italy!"

Arthur Kirkland JuniorArthur froze. Oh bugger He had a feeling this would happen. He gave her the only thing he could think of saying, hoping to expand their conversation from there, and that wasn't the case here. Honestly he couldn't tell if she were in a good or bad mood because of him. The englishman started to grab his things to sit next to Ludwig. "Well you know with the British Empire and all..." he said nerviously "you could say that we've known each other for a long time."

Oi Oi Vati give me a beer Oi Oi Mutti, Oi Oi Mutti I can't forget the flavor of that wurst I had before Ludwig Ludwig nodded his head sternly. "Say no more. I think I know where this story is going." Of course he would. Remember World War I and World War II? Ludwig does. So does all of his neighbors. As does France, and any one else he manage to take over. Needless to say, keeping friends you've made in that sort of way isn't the easiest thing to do. He still felt a little awkward around those who were in the Allied Forces, including Arthur... That's probably exactly why he had hoped he could isolate himself from the rest of the class for the rest of the school year. At least Romano seemed to be behaving himself... What was he watching any ways? Oh, no matter. So long as he wasn't threatening to pelt Ludwig with rotten tomatoes, he really didn't give a damn what the short-fused man was doing. "One night, I couldn't sleep well and opened my eyes...to find some strange guy staring at me." "The hell are you doing, Italy!"

Arthur Kirkland JuniorArthur was beginning to feel even more uneasy than before but he sat down at the new seat anyway. If things get any worse he could aways move again. At least that frog pervert isn't around. he sighed in relief. He noticed that Alfred was being unusally quiet. There wasn't much he could do about it at the moment. I'm going to have to talk to him later. Not wanting to remember that he'll be around him 24/7. England opened his sketch book and started to draw the allies and axis like he used to on the meeting board, but at the bottom of the page he drew a child without really thinking. The young boy had a bright smile. Arthur could clearly hear child say "Brother" as if he was in front of him.

NORGE Someone told me Fairy tails aren't real... He calmed down a bit upon feeling the other male pat his shoulder, giving a shrug, "anything is faster than Freshman year," he said straightening up and opening a book as to stare blankly at it as though he was reading it, when really, he was just sitting there focusing on the same spot foe what seemed to be no reason at all, and that was just it. There was no reason at all.
Soon he found himself sketching some roadkill he'd seen a week before, making sure the blood looked nice and shiny for some sick reason. Rather than giving the raccoon a person face, the face slowly began to look a bit more like Denmark's. But I already knew... Because fairies don't have tails.

Oi Oi Vati give me a beer Oi Oi Mutti, Oi Oi Mutti I can't forget the flavor of that wurst I had before Ludwig Germany couldn't help but glance over to see what Arthur was drawing. His drawings were... Surprisingly good. Maybe sitting with the Britain wouldn't be as bad as he feared. Hell, maybe he'd be willing to help Germany out with his own drawings... He opened his own note pad and was greeted by one of his bad sketches... Complete with a little note written by Fratillo on how he could improve it. Ludwig tensed up and blushed before flipping the page. He'd throw that one away later...
Glancing back to Arthur's drawings and the back to his own, he worked up the courage to talk about them. "Your drawings are very nice. Would you... Umm, perhaps would you show me how you did them so well...? All I can draw are cuckoo clocks and mountains..." A- At least the clocks looked good! Still, he couldn't help but blush slightly in embarrassment. He did take note of the young boy at the bottom of the page. He didn't remember him before... Maybe he'd ask who it was a little later. "One night, I couldn't sleep well and opened my eyes...to find some strange guy staring at me." "The hell are you doing, Italy!"

Arthur Kirkland JuniorHe had been so deep into his thoughts about past that Arthur didn't realized Germany was watching. His face became bright red as he ripped out the particular drawing from the page and balled it up. "I'm quite average really. Basics and all." the englishman said trying to gain regain his composure but showed Ludwig a few simple artist tips anyway.

Maureen O'Mally "Ireland" *junior* Maureen was practicly falling asleep in her seat. She was not a morning person and the teacher seemed to expect them to draw or paint their own thing. Like a test of their skills so there was a place to focouse the lessons. She would have non of it. Insted she scooted her stool over to a desk and useing her messanger bag as a pillow promptly put her head down and closed her eyes. Maureen was not self motivated at all. Not that she was a bad student, but if she didn't HAVE to do something she usaly wouldn't.

Alfred F. Jones Hero *best junior ever* Alfred found his atention drawn to the only girl in the room and he blinked a few times. Was she seriously asleep? On the first day? He looked around to see if anyone else saw. Should he say something? Even he had been scribeling in his note book. Little doddles of his cat and ailens.

Oi Oi Vati give me a beer Oi Oi Mutti, Oi Oi Mutti I can't forget the flavor of that wurst I had before Ludwig That was basic? .... That just made the German more humiliated in his drawing abilities. Maybe he should just try doing cuckoo clocks, mountains, and "abstract" paintings and drawings and hope that was enough to get by... Gosh, he never thought he'd see the ay where he was hoping to just get by in any sort of class. He seriously hope Art wouldn't be his downfall.... H- Heck! There were plenty of good German artists too, right? S- Surely he'd get lucky at something...
Ludwig tried to follow some of Arthur's tips while drawing a picture of his dogs. Maybe this would work..? No. When he finished, he looked at what he had drawn and... Yeah, the dogs looked more like something Alfred ate. The perfectionist in Ludwig kicked in and he angrily sighed as he ripped out the page without asking questions. Next he tried drawing Gilbert. If this turned out nicely, maybe Gilbert would like it. His brother liked when people showed him respect or any form of minor admiration, so receiving a drawing of himself was bound to crank up the albino's ego. When he looked at it though... I barely resembled a human, let alone Gilbert. Ludwig growled it his inability to draw before ripping this page out as well and balled it up to join its friend on the table top in front of him. Third try. Maybe himself. Yeah, that could be the problem was that he hadn't tried drawing himself yet. Maybe if he did well with drawing himself, he wouldn't be so hard on himself and would do better with future drawings... Yeah. That was a great idea. So, he did. He began drawing, and it seemed like he was actually starting to enjoy it slightly... Slightly. Of course, he was trying to make this perfect, so he was getting slightly frustrated with each stroke of the pencil and mumbling things under his breath as he drew. Finally, he sat up and looked at the drawing of himself... He looked extremely angry and it barely looked like him. With that, Ludwig almost slammed his hand against the pad, ripped the page out, balled it as tight as he could, and had it join the previous two attempts before stating, "Drawing is a useless skill, any ways."
Where the hell was Fratello when you needed him. Maybe having him around, as annoying as it was that he was so naturally gifted in this sort of thing, would have helped a lot more than he thought. The fact that he was so tired probably wasn't helping at all, especially since he had stayed up late trying to draw so he could do better in this class. He sat his chin against the notepad and sighed lightly, suddenly feeling exhausted... And this was only the first class of the day! Why was art so draining...
One more go at it. Just one, and then he'd give up. He sat up reluctantly and picked up his pencil. He started to draw, this time not even bothering to try liking it as he went along. After a little bit, he stopped and reached into his bag for some colored pencils. He only grabbed three: red, yellow, and black. With that, he colored his picture sat up, and smiled at what he had done. He had drawn the actual country of Germany and simply colored it to look like his flag... Not much, but the small victory of making something look good was enough to put him in a better mood. So now he had three things he could draw: cuckoo clocks, mountains, and the country Germany. Yup. That should hopefully help him pass. "One night, I couldn't sleep well and opened my eyes...to find some strange guy staring at me." "The hell are you doing, Italy!"

Arthur Kirkland JuniorArthur bascially only showed how to make correct proportions. Drawing took patients and pratice which isn't something anyone could do for him. Watched as each sketch was thrown out, Arthur thought that each one were pretty good despite what the german thought. Finally Ludwig seemed to be satisfied of his last drawing. Arthur smiled too. "Everyone precieves art differently. It's only a matter of time before you find a style that suits you." talking from experience of fashion trends with France. Remembering those times wasn't such a good idea, he tired not to think about it for the time being. Still having his balled up image, England decided he should probably throw it away before anyone else see it. On his way he took a glance at Al's picture. "You're drawing that ludicrous thing?"

Arthur Kirkland JuniorWhy is it that Alfred never ceased to irritate him now days? "I wasn't talking about freedom, I was referring to your little martian friend." he pointed to the alien drawing. Arthur sighed and said under his breath as he started to walk away. "No wonder you don't have any real friends." He knew he didn't have much room to talk himself. England did offer to be his friend out of pity once and got turned down.
