   Alfred---Barcel---Scarlet
Barcel watched with a calm eye as the Scyther turned away, revealing his back to the Empoleon was not very wise after they'd nearly came to blows only a few moments before. The dual type could have taken him out right then if he wished it, but Scarlet seemed to catch his train of thought and lifted her head to glare at him from over the two guild Pokemon. He glanced to the side in response and promptly ignored them for the time being. The Flygon flicked her tail fan to the side, waiting patiently just behind Alfred while he tried to regain his composure. Switching from 'ohgodwe'regonnadie' to 'everything'sfinenow' took a few moments and he still continued to glance warily at the Empoleon. It was fortunate Barcel had ceased paying attention of the action would have annoyed him greatly. "I'm...I'm okay." He stated quietly, arms hugging his shoulders. Taking the moment as clearance, Scarlet unfolded and refolded her wings idly before glancing to Tolin. "Of course, you're most welcome to stay. I have tea in the other room going, hope you don't mind Oran berry." She moved as though to trot off and attend to the drinks, but thought better of it and turned back around before looping that tail around Alfred's shoulders. "Why don't you help me? No doubt these two old codgers would just bore you to tears with their talk."The Gardevoir gave a smile at that before slowly following along after the Flygon. Her words were a bit hypocritcal, she was only somewhat younger than Barcel who was within his fourties. Once they'd left Barcel's attention turned back to the Scyther. The soundless void continued, he could not hear Scarlet humming in the kitchen but he knew she was, she always hummed in the kitchen. Finally the Empoleon cleared his throat. "She can't have children." He said, a strange topic to bring up so suddenly, but he continued with it. "She has a tendency to latch onto anyone who doesn't push away her mothering. Don't be surprised if she doesn't bring him back." Having successfully broke the silence of the room, he pushed right into the topic at hand. "This Eevee, he's not quite right. No doubt he wants to do something horrible, I wouldn't put it past him. I have a few questions for you, the first being what's he want with that Gardevoir, the second being what he wants in general."

The Scyther gave a grateful nod as the pair left, a slight smile tugging on his mouth. Alfred seemed to take comfort in the Flygon's motherly personality. He needed it. Perhaps, it was something he always needed. Well, that was neither here nor there. Barcel was the more important problem now. He took a few soft, slow steps as he spoke. "Well, the short version is that that 'Eevee' has the power to kill all of us and the only thing that's keeping him from doing that is the fact that I hold most of the cards." He sat turned mid-step and seated himself on the couch, his left scythe resting lightly on the armrest. "Frankly, it's a miracle you're still alive. So, I'm going to state this simply. Very soon, he's probably going to come back here and either kill you to seal the knowledge away or enslave you. If you can make another blade, he would be vulnerable; he doesn't want that. He has the strongest legendary blood in all of creation, after all. I'll tell you what's happening, but first I would like to extract an agreement; come to the guilds. You can decide whether or not you want to help us after I've told you the rest. You have to choose between tolerating me and risking death." Hopefully Barcel would be... amicable. It was doubtful, but it was worth a shot. He really didn't seem the type, though.

   Alfred---Barcel---Scarlet
Barcel remained standing if only out of stubborn pride. The Empoleon's face portrayed nothing though his eyes did widen somewhat at the mention of this Eevee's power. He'd heard of semi-legendary of course and if Eridanus had the strongest in all of creation that meant he had been sired by Arceus. Holy ******** hell. Barcel blinked rapidly, the information didn't exactly register immediately. He stood there quietly in a sort of numb disbelief before shaking his head. "N-", the word didn't even get a chance to breath when Scarlet stepped back in and the Empoleon snapped his beak closed almost instantly. Alfred continued to follow along behind her, naturally she was carrying the tray as he had the coordination of a Spinda lately. Scarlet set the tray down, humming happily along. Guests were nice, she loved Barcel to death but sometimes you needed a change on occasion. Turning around the Flygon trotted back into the kitchen with Alfred still following along behind her like a duckling. Barcel stepped back in his thoughts, retracing the earlier conversation before issuing a sigh. "Alright, let's go before I change my mind." He turned to the kitchen door, "SCARLET.", and the Flygon's head immediately popped back into the room. She gave a slight start, having stopped suddenly in front of Alfred who'd walked right into her. Pausing to glance at him, he offered her an apologetic smile, she resumed her stare at the Empoleon. "We're going to the guilds. Pack up." The reptile gave no reply, the concern in his voice was enough. She shooed the Gardevoir back into the room with Tolin before retreating to the back. "We'll meet you there in a few moments..." The Empoleon said finally before turning and stepping into the back as well, ending the conversation.

 Tolin
Well, that was surprising. Lately whenever he told someone that they were in grave danger, they insisted on being as troublesome as possible. Not that it wasn't a pleasant surprise. Really, it was a nice alternative to the usual banter. The Scyther gave a pleased nod before he stood up from the couch. "When you arrive, ask for the location of my team room. It's Southern Cross. Any of the staff should be able to tell you where it is." Pretty much everyone seemed to know where he lived. It was actually a little bit annoying, though it did come in handy once in a while. He looked over at Alfred and an apologetic smile crossed his face. "It seems like we'll have to cut our visit short. But Barcel and Scarlet are going to come to the guilds. They'll be a little bit, but they shouldn't take too long, alright?" The thought crossed his mind that he was acting more than a little condescending, but Alfred didn't seem to be able to make simplistic connections. It was better to be a bit of a d**k than to leave him in the dark and confused, right?
