Amber contemplated this for a moment. "My house is too small for you guys to stay without being noticed, and my mom would not be happy having two guests. But, there's a barn about 3 acres away from our house. You guys could stay up in the loft, you'd just have to be very quiet in case my dad hears you when he goes to check on our horses." Violet tugged on her arm, "You're not seriously going to help him are you?" She glared at the boy, then smiled because she knew he didn't know about her past. "I am, and don't let him get to you, he doesn't have any idea about what happened that night. I swear if you do to him what you did to that other guy...." "I won't, I won't! But you can't offer to help him for free!" "Why not? He's not going to turn us in to the cops!" "Why do you have to be so reasonable?" Violet grumbled, letting go of Amber's arm. "Because I know when to be hard and when to be easy. This is easy time." "He's still not such a big deal, I mean I could-" "You will do no such thing." Amber turned back to the boy, "What's your name? And who is this person that we're 'rescuing'?"

Flynn nodded, "That's fine. We won't be there for long." Oh if she only knew what happened in his past, she wouldn't be so kind to him. He ran a hand through his hair, looking down as he was thinking about what to do besides listening to their conversation, well, every few words of it. When Amber looked back at him, he started walking, "You two can call me Flynn. I found this girl in a locked up room. She's tied and she can't get out...the strange thing is...she glows. Like a lightbulb. I think my client has been using her for something and I want to get her away from here as soon as I can." He then was quiet for a minute, looking at Amber. She was cute, in his opinion, but isn't quite sure if she is his type, "Hey, what's your name? I can return the favor to you for letting me stay at your dad's barn, though I'll explain the conditions later."

"I'm Amber and this is Violet. There's really no need to-" "She would love for you to return the favor!" Violet cut in. Amber just rolled her eyes. "Show us this girl, if we're going to get her out of here we better do it fast. We could get caught at any moment," she paused and looked at the boy, "Flynn," she finished after a minute.

"Is your friend always a b***h to guys, or is it just me in particular?" Flynn asked Amber with a faint smile as he made his way to the room where he found the girl. He placed his index finger to his lips, "Shhh...I got some help. We're going to get you out of here." he said, removing some of the straps. "I know what it's like to be hidden away...and I'll do my best to get you out of here safe." He wasn't physically tied away and shoved into a dark room, but he knew the feeling of not being able to escape. The blood from his injury continued to dribble down his finger tips, acting as though it had no effect on him.

"She isn't normally bitchy, I just called her chicken so that she wouldn't be afraid of her own shadow. Once someone calls her chicken she gets super cocky," Amber laughed, following Flynn into the room while Violet stayed behind and kept watch. She scowled, but pretended as if she hadn't heard Amber at all. Amber gasped when she saw the girl. She was beautiful and radiant, glowing like a- like a lightbulb! As Flynn removed the straps, Amber crept over to the girl's other side. "Wow, you're beautiful," she whispered in awe. Sidera stared blankly at the two people. She could easily understand what they were saying, she was a master of every tongue, but she did not know how to speak them as the stars only sung in their own language. Not the language of others. The boy finished undoing her straps and she tried to get up but she found her new body to have gone completely limp. "S- Sid- Sidera. B- Bl-Bla- Black- Hole," she managed to say, playing with the sounds on her tongue. Amber's eyes went wide when the girl spoke. "Sidera. Black Hole," she translated. The girl nodded. "Sidera is latin for space, like outer space! Are you trying to warn us of a black hole?" she asked. The girl nodded and shook her head at the same time. This wasn't going to be easy...

Flynn chuckled at Amber's statement about her friend before the girl was free and he heard her speak. He then looked at Amber with a serious face, "I'm sure as hell that I'm not letting some retarded black hole get here...but what can we do?" He then heard the front door open and close, "Ah s**t..." he didn't know what was left to do. "Alright, we're getting the hell out of here." he picked up the girl in his arms, holding her close. "Amber, there is a door down here that'll lead us to a tunnel and get out of here. It should be to the left as soon as we walk out of this room." If that man found them in the basement with this....this person, he knew that they would end up dead somehow.

Violet heard footsteps on the porch above them and the sound of a door opening and closing. She raced into the room as swiftly and as silently as she could. "Guys, some one is upstairs and they might come down, so if I were you I'd speed it up so we can get the hell out of here!" she announced panically. Then she gasped at the sight of the glowing girl, "How is she-? Who is she-? Why is she glowing??" Amber put a finger to her lips, "Vi, be quiet, the person might hear us. Flynn said something about a tunnel that will get us out of here. I think this girl is too numb from the straps holding her down though. Can you help us get her there?" Violet nodded, too freaked out to even complain about Flynn. Amber nodded to the boy, "Kay, lift her on three. One, two, three-"

Flynn lifted the girl on three, grumbling under his breath as he slowly started walking. "Alright...it's...this way. Can you two take the girl? I'll give you two enough time to get out of here with her." He helped get the girls to the door. "I can trust you two, right?" he asked them with a stern expression. Truth was, he was going to cover up their tracks and then run upstairs to get his things. There were things that he just couldn't leave behind and it would also give him an opportunity to take his bike and hide it near the barn if he had to leave.

"Yeah... sure," Amber grunted. "Vi, take... the girl... and help me get her to the exit," she gasped at once, breathing heavily. Violet simply nodded and took Flynn's place at the girl's side, helping lift her. "Kay... go," Violet said. "And, I'm sorry for being a b***h. It's great of you to help us get out," she finished in between breaths. She couldn't talk anymore though. The girls hiked their way to the door. When Sidera was lifted, she felt fear grow inside of her. What were they doing? Where were they taking her. But the boy's voice echoed through her head again, reminding her she was in safe hand, and that calmed her down a bit. At one point though she freaked out again and she tried wiggling around, but of course she was still numb so nothing happened. "Name.... Sidera," she managed to say, though it took a lot of time and effort. Amber smiled, "Sidera is your name, huh? That's a very beautiful name." The girl merely nodded and squeezed her eyes shut. She opened them again and seemed disappointed that nothing had changed.

Flynn went upstairs, seeing no one around. His boss must be in the study. He crept his way around, going into the living room and grabbing his backpack. There was nothing important upstairs in the room he stayed at, but that would have been the best way to escape. He slowly tiptoed his way up the staircase, going into his room and opening the window. He paused, waiting to see if he heard any sudden movement or sounds, but heard nothing as he climbed out, hanging on the window's edge as his other hand closed the window as close as he could. He wasn't sure what he was going to do next. It was a straight fall to the ground, but he didn't want to make too much noise, but he had to. He kicked the wall outside, hearing the man move around, a thudding in response before he heard the man go upstairs. Flynn quickly let go of the edge, landing on the ground before running towards the barn that Amber had mentioned. The tunnel led out in the wooded area close to her house.

Amber, Violet, and Sidera emerged from the tunnel into a small clearing surrounded by trees. "What the-?" Violet yawned, but Amber just smiled. "It's okay! I know where we are, We're behind my house, only 5 minutes away from the barn! C'mon, let's go drop her off," she said excitedly. She was just happy to be out of that creepy house. The two girl hustled over to the barn. They set Sidera down on the ground while they picked the lock on the barn door. Then, they lifted her once more and carried her inside to the base of the ladder which led up to the loft. "Can you climb?" Amber asked, her voice barely a whisper. The girl stared at her blankly. "Guess not," Amber grumbled in reply. "Hmm, how are we going to do this?" Violet raised her hand to her chin in a philosophizing pose. "Let's just try getting her to use her hands a little, like this." Amber demonstrated her idea by lifting Sidera onto the first step of the ladder and moving her hands so that they held onto the sides. Then she helped her level by level, climbing up the ladder behind her. Once they reached the loft, both of them were exhausted. "B- black hole," Sidera stuttered, trying to crawl towards the back of the loft. "Yeah, yeah, black hole. Just stick near the back of this loft and hide in the hay, okay? Violet and I will bring you food tomorrow." With that Amber turned and leaped off of the loft, using one of the low pillars as a sort of bar to ease her landing. "Goodness Amber, you need to stop doing that, you scare me half to death every time!" Violet shrieked, quiet enough so that no noise escaped the door of the barn. "You know I'd never get hurt doing it, maybe a splinter from the pillar at the very least, but nothing more. I took gymnastics for 5 years!" "Still, it's scary," Violet muttered.

((On my phone. Replies will be rather erratic.))
A pair of bright green eyes peered at them from the rafters far above their heads. The owner waved her tail from side to side with curiousity, then spoke. "Hiding? What are you hiding from?" She asked, jumping down, landing right beside Amber. Fydell knew she would get looks- a talking brown tabby cat is much too out of the ordinary to just disregard. She sat down, and lifted a paw a moment, contemplating before she began licking the paw. "You know, I know a much better hiding place than this one. If you're hiding from someone, I doubt that they would look there." She put her paw back on the ground, then looked up at them, her green eyes wide.

When the cat leaped from the rafters and spoke to them, Violet nearly fainted. She was back to her 'scared-of-her-own-shadow' state of mind. "Amber! D-did that cat just talk?!" Amber couldn't reply, her eyes were fixated on the cat. All she did was nod. "You're a talking cat. And you want to tell us about a hiding place... Where is it? And why should we trust you? How can you talk? What's your name? What are you doing in my family's barn?" The questions flooded out involuntarily. "Y-yeah, how can you possibly talk? Cat's can't talk, that's impossible! We must be going insane Amber! At least we're doing it together!" Violet began muttering to herself, shaking in her custom designed Fengolie black boots.
