"It WAS!" Yay, a chance to lament! "It was cold and there were monsters and robots and elf-ninjas and FIRE~" That particular word was said in a very upset, very uncomfortable and very scared tone. But with a clear of her throat she tossed the subject aside, and decided to nod sagely at what she was being told. "Ooooh yes." She breathed out as if she understood everything. "I don't know how that feels." In fact, she was pretty sure her Parents had no idea where she even went. She should...probably go back there soon, shouldn't she? Hmm.

"ME NEITHER!" Amrita threw her backwards hands upwards; YAY SOMEONE WHO WASN'T VERY SCARY! "I-I'm sure you'll have an easier time with it, though! You're at least in one piece." She assured her new friend, nodding in understanding again. "I don't...ever think I'll be scary enough to be useful." The rotted little girl lamented for only a moment. Though...her favourite class? HMM! The little ghoul thought about it, tilting her head this way and that, before she gave an honest grin.

"I like Music Class! I used to like Minipet class but Professor Malcolm set the room on fire and he keeps trying to make me hug DC." She was in a very chatty mood today apparently, but when DC was brought up the little Vetala pointed to the side, towards the fish tank behind her booth...and to the very pointy looking mini firebeast that was watching the fish in a very feline manner. "If you're looking for scary...Red's Gym class if probably a good place to start! O-Or Savage's Human Studies!" She thought about it some more, and then she leaned in to give a super secret stage whisper to her Yeti buddy.

"Sex-Ed is a very scary class, so if you're squeamish don't sign up!"

It was super, super important information to pass along. Super important.

So much was going on that Seth was overwhelmed by everything. The ghoul was awed, by his book. He really didn't understand what was so amazing about his book aside from the fact that it was large. Though her attention was shortly shortly lived as Roch explained his hair. The talked about his guitar and then it happened. A table flew from the sky and landed on HER. He'd lost track there. He hadn't even formed his words to respond to Amrita. Lizzy was under the table. He wanted to help her but he couldn't he was frozen there in place.

She crawled out from under the table, and while he was still frozen in place. He was minorly relieved to see her come out. Though his relief was quick lived as a patchwork boil showed up looking severely hurt. He shuddered looking. The ghouls were worried about the patchwork boil, someone they knew the both spouted off names. And then the worse the Yeti girl showed up. He felt like finding a place to bury his head but he was unsuccessful. It took Amrita Speaking to him once more for his words came forth way late. "You can call me Seth, and thank you, I'm very attached to it, my book that is. He looked at the objects on her booth and reached out for a doll, Conidella would adore the plush he was sure of it.

Bix made a horrified face as she described Christmas Town. It didn't sound very Christmasy AT ALL. He was starting to become concerned about christmas this year. Monsters? NINJA ELVES? More importantly..

Why were the Halloween scarelings going to Christmas Town in the first place? Mina had taken the words right out of his head.

"That sounds AWFUL." He clapped a fuzzy hand over his made up lips. This ghoul, Amrita, seemed to have rather low self esteem but he could see why, as she seemed to be backwards and missing part of a face. What was it like to be rotting away before everyone's eyes?

"I'm sure going to school will teach you to be scarier. And more useful." He put his prize in his purse and clasped his hands cutely behind his back. He kept reminding himself to act like every cute girl he'd ever seen in an anime. "I hope you win your election.. maybe it will help you feel more useful! You are already doing well with relating to the public! I am the public.. right?" His voice cracked awkwardly but he just acted embarrassed. He was a yeti after all. They didn't all sound like sweeties all the time.

Well aren't you sweet, encouraging her little crusade. I think she's cute actually. You should meet a nice girl like her and.. Her voice was filled with mirth and drifted into hysterical laughter.

He listened intently as she rattled out details of classes. If any of this information was useful he'd be sure to pass it on. Poor Amrita.. she was so clueless that she could be giving away information. Nothing was too important or scandalous but knowing the instructors names may be valuable.

"Human studies? Ooooh.. Have you taken that? Learned anything neat about humans?" What did they teach them about HUMANS?! "I mean.. other than how delicious they are... hahah.." Another dainty giggle.

"Oh yes, school has been working! I feel a lot more scary since I first arrived! But that's...probably because of Riley and Nuk." She mused, tapping her chin with a reversed index finger. "THANK YOU! I...I will do my best, that's for sure! Y-you are the public, I think..." That was pretty sure what public was, right? Other people? Oh dear, she should have figured that out for sure before hand.

"Ahhh...sadly, no. I missed that class twice...Charlie did, though! He said they talked about evo---evil---lution? Evilution? Err, something...and built boats in the last class!" Small shoulders wiggled for a moment before she leaned in to share a secret with her new friend. "I think humans are creepy, I mean...they're so weird!" Said the ghoul who should have been six feet under. "I don't think I could ever eat one though...I don't think my kind needs to actually eat them." Huh. She pondered this fact a little bit...until she realized that the boil with the tome answered her.

"Seth it is, then!" She quipped, brightening a little bit when he took one of the dolls. "I love books! What kind is is?" A little pause and her gray eye widened, looking between Seth and the Yeti she was talking to. "O-OH! Umm, Seth, this is...ah..."

...Oops, she didn't know the Yeti's name! Terrible manners, terrible!

"Cho, right?" Roch offered. "She met Seth earlier, me too. It is a cool book, isn't it? Seth here is a sorcerer reaper, which is really awesome. All I do is play music and beat people over the head with my guitar.". He seemed to have already forgotten that other people didn't have guitars that grew with them. "But you guys went to Christmas town? Huh."

this probably wasn't the time to ask if they were going to go again.
PostPosted: Thu Jul 21, 2011 4:43 pm

Seth's hand fluttered to his tie fixing it even though there was nothing wrong with it.The mention of eating humans didn't sound so appetizing. Though he personally had no affiliation beyond the physical appearance he did not think they would be delicious. They were merely beings trapped in a small pocket of time growing till they had to meet their end. Or so it had been explained to him. Humans were like food they had an expiration date. However that was a very moot description of the species. He shrugged it off though, perhaps yeti's were fond of human's though the thought of it had him inching away from the yeti girl, he didn't want to be mistaken for a human if an urge of hunger struck.

His name was quickly followed by a question about his book. He glanced down at the large book in thought before he decided to shift it to show more of it. He raised it and rested it between his hip and his arm. When she began to stutter about the yeti girl he felt bad, he knew the girl but she had not known that. Roch saved him from having to explain it.When he explained the Seth was a sorcerer he dipped his head meekly. He down played his job to say the least though, he was a grim reaper one of the hardest sub-classes to reapers. He felt bad the way Roch had put it. "Your job may not be a cool as mine but I find it to be a harder one. Taking care of lost souls and such." Though it was a very delicate explanation of the job. Being the bringer of death he figured would not be an easy job to handle.

Roch shrugged. "What can I say? Some of us were born for the awesome, magical sorcery jobs, while others of us were born to do the dirty work." And he figured he'd be good at doing the dirty work. His dad seemed to be, at least. He was always doing jobs, after all. He wasn't very bothered with the idea of reaping souls. He WAS bothered by the idea of making ghosts, though. He'd be jacked if it was his fault the place was overwhelmed by them.

Not that he said any of this. There was just a tiny change in his expressive silver eyes that could easily be misinterpreted. "I've eaten a lot of s**t, though, but I've never eaten a human. Can humans even last long enough to be eaten here?" he asked curiously. "I thought they exploded or something. But I do know a couple of people had candied brains at Prom. Think those were human?"

Relieved that Amrita was back to normal, she settled for standing, giggling once in a while as the ghoul rattled on and on; she was so focused and amused by Amrita that she had completely forgotten about her own booth... Her own current unmanned booth.

Uh, whoops.

"I don't think humans are actually eaten," She giggled, tilting her head, "At least, I've never seen humans on sold before...? Is it even legal? I helped with food preparation for prom and all the food we had were from various sources of minipets, but nothing foreign." She then paused, glancing over at her own booth while looking slightly distracted, "Would love to contribute more to the discussion but I have something I need to attend to." Other than the bruises on her anyway.

Giving Amrita one more hug and one head pat, she then dipped her head at everyone at Amrita's booth before walking away; ahhh, so many things to do!

Well none of these monsters ate humans. That was good. But he'd seen a few vampires wandering around so it wasn't that far from the truth. Bix was actually sort of enjoying himself at the festival. The concept of minipets was cool but he'd been zapped by some eels and Amrita had talked about her weird fire-cat thing burning stuff down. That did NOT sound fun.

You could just as easily be bitten by a dog. AND they have fleas.
These things probably have bloodsucking monster fleas from hell.
I've never heard of them but they DO sound fun.

They seemed to further be talking about reapers and things but Bix saw one of his fellow hunters walk by and he remembered his time here was limited. He had to bail quickly.

"Oh oh no.." He fretted and covered his fanged mouth. "It's getting late.. I think my brother is looking for me. I don't want to get in trouble." He moved in front of each of them and gave a sweet, polite bow. "It's nice to meet all of you. Thank you so much Amrita! Good luck!"

He spun and hurried away. He didn't want to chance failing his first 'solo' endeavor. He also didn't want his golem to fail on him cause he took too long or something. He had no idea how it worked really..

There were a lot of things that could be said about Barth. None of these, unfortunately, were that he was fast.

At the moment, nothing positive could be said for his smell or appearance either, which had a lot to do with smoke and fish guts.

"Hello Amrita," he said, pleasantly enough, although his expression was cold, "very nice collection of fish you have, there. Haven't seen you since exams, but you should feel free to stop by any time. Good luck with elections. Excuse me, only passing through."

He kept going.

Idly Roch headed for the beanbag throw, picking up a beanbag and giving it a toss. He was still thinking about the differences in reapers, and a slight frown pulled at his lips thoughtfully. The bag flew through the purple hole and he went to grab it again.

This wasn't quite as fun as the roulette wheel, but it was kind of entertaining!

Deciding to take a break from her booth, Bea came across another campaign booth. But this time, it was a public relations candidate's booth! Her name hung on the table.

Amrita for Public Relations.

Even though she was competition, Bea couldn't help but get attracted to those absolutely adorable fish lanterns! "Hello Amrita! My name is Beatrix Monroe, but you can call me Bea!" She eyes the lanterns. "I'm also running for Public Relations... You don't mind if I... um... take a fish lantern do you? I find them so cute! I must have one!"

This booth also had a fun looking game. "Might as well try it while I'm here!"

Bea didn't get her beanbag in. Frustrated, she decided to leave this booth to look for another. Perhaps to go back to her own.

Something seemed to pull at the back of his mind and Roch glanced over at the newcomer a bit blankly. What...? A slight frown pulled at his lips as the inner alarm kept bugging him, pricking his brain like JD's claws picked at his pants.

He put the beanbag down, glanced at Seth, waved briefly, and skipped out, leaving the booth behind without a word.

During all the chaos that was raining tables and scary igors, somehow Siobhan had managed to hide herself under the table. That was until the spider demoness started to leave.

For some reason, the ghost decided to follow, crawling after the pink haired ghoul, and still clutching the fish plushie.

Seth had gazed off, lost in thought. He shook his head. He had his book under his left arm and an odd doll sitting on the spine gracefully balancing. He frowned looking confused at the doll before he looked at the booth. 'Ah' he nodded getting it. The booth had the same doll and fish plushies.

'Ooo a Game' For a moment his brain was clicking fast. He silently shuffled over to the bean bag toss and quietly tossed a bean bag. He'd never really played games but had found he'd done good at Lizzy's Game.
Though as the bean bag fell flat he sighed. "Well guess it was beginners luck with Lizzy." He shrugged and looked at the booth once more. "Well it was a pleasure to meet you Amrita. I wish you luck on you campaign." With his final words he slipped off to find out what was going on with the tables.
