"Yeah.. they're these funny looking critters that stand on their hind legs and walk around like that.. two-legger.. they left most this stuff here." He pointed with his hoof to a pile of discarded things that had been left behind.

Cad chuckled some. "I saw one once.. Momma didn't think I'd seen her leaving the herd lands once.. but she said some times that one comes to visit my grand mother."

"Well.. they look funny... furless.. cept on their heads... and her muzzle was squashed into her face. She stood on her hind legs and wore funny clothes.. not like my father's caplet... more like my gram's leather armor... only more malleable." He wiggled excitedly. "It was fascinating... like experiencing the discovery of a new species of insect."

Nigiri's mouth fell open, "They sound disgusting! Were you scared at all? Did they smell funny?" He bounced up and down. "Do you think I could see one too?"

He burst into laughter. "They weren't disgusting. The one that came to see my grandmother seemed really nice and she smelled like fresh herbs." He smiled at Nigiri. "I don't know.." He looked thoughtful for a moment. "Maybe.. I suppose you might..."

Cad furrowed his brow in thought. "Well.. it was a few months ago from the last encounter.... So I guess it just depends on how lucky I am." His little tail bobbed and flopped about. He'd instinctively picked up some on his mother's tail wagging it seemed.

He shook his head lightly. "She wasn't angry since it was the same two-legger that use to visit when she was a foal.. she calls the two-legger a bit touched by the spirits.. says that she's different some how and just doesn't smell the same as others do... I think it's why she feels more at ease with that two-legger." He gave a small shrug. A bird chirping in the distance caused his ear to flick and his attention to wayne for a short moment. Just a blue bird.. He chuckled to himself and looked back at Nigiri, his tail bobbing and wagging some.

"So maybe my dad's won't mind me meeting that one either?" Nigiri mused. It would be worth a shot right? But then...his dad's would want to know his friend, and his friend's parents, and then talk about it before they let him meet it or not. And he was almost positive that Daddy Nori would say no.

"I suppose it's always a good possibility..." He thought a moment. "But then... Who knows... Some times parents are touchy about such things..." He gave a small pout before looking at what had been his basket and the things he'd been trying to get to it before the accident. "I just need to figure out how to get my things home now...." He mumbled more to himself than to the other foal.
