Mitsu seemed to calm a bit more now that their discussion had turned more to research. For a moment she gave Shun's words some thought, her ears twitching as she processed what to do.
"I..I suppose they might have their own web site, yes? Like the brand." Realizing she still had the protection charm in her hand she looked down at it. A faint blush crossed her cheeks once again before she sheepishly held it out for Shun to take. "B...but the other option would be okay too." It would involve less blushing probably...and less potential to find something scary.

Somewhat gingerly, Shun took the charm back. It was still incredibly awkward to have that out in the open. But he did what he could to not think about that. Instead, he tried to focus on the questions, though they weren't all that much better.
"In that case we may just be better off going with the abstinence idea for now," he said quietly.
A part of him had the Reaper wondering if Cricket would be touching on protection charms at all in the next class.

"O..okay," Mitsu nodded. It would be simple that way. They could just write up a short paper or something explaining the benefits of abstinence.
There was another awkward pause as Mitsu did her best to collect her thoughts, her mind still racing around this new information. Though her mind couldn't help but drift back to the fact that the reaper knew a tad more on the subject. Strangely she wanted to ask what it was like, he obviously wasn't moldy, considering she had seen most of him in nothing but a towel....oh jack....why was she thinking about that? It hadn't been awkward before...but..but now it kind of was.
Just think of it like he's in swimming trunks and not a towel...that would be less awkward. At least that's what she kept trying to tell herself.
"I-I-I guess I can write something up. H-How in d-depth should we go?" She wasn't sure how much they should mention about the mixing of FEAR or possible diseases that could be avoided.

During the silence, Shun just sat there a bit awkwardly, not really sure what to say. He figured it would be best to let Mitsu speak up whenever she had something in mind. A part of him still had to wonder if she thought any differently but he wasn't about to ask anything like that.
"Er... something simple should be fine. Don't think we need to go too in depth," he replied while glancing at his laptop again, "Cricket only said to bring in on method of prevention and all."
Come to think of it, he had to wonder if abstinence alone would really help out if someone was contaminated and you were highly FEAR compatible with them. The whole FEAR compatibility thing was something he didn't know a great deal of.

Pulling her notebook toward her Mitsu made an attempt to write some things down again so that she could try processing later to write out a paper for the teacher. Something simple sounded easy, it was a little embarrassing giving too much thought into the process.
Once she was done she set the notebook aside for now looking a little awkward herself, a deep blush still lingering on her cheeks. It just refused to go away and it made her nervous that it would be the gateway to the random things going through her mind. She was shy, far too shy to ask now that she understood, but the lupine was still curious. It also made Mitsu curious to whether Shun had a girlfriend or not. He had transferred from far away so it was possible he could have someone back home....but it was none of her business if he did. She had already pried enough asking him about the protection charm.
"D...did you have any other homework you needed to work on?" Oh yeah, she was ready to move passed the sex-ed stuff.

While Mitsu worked on the paper, Shun just tried to not think too hard about all the sex ed stuff if possible. He turned his attention towards his laptop and was dinking around on it. There wasn't anything in particular that he wanted to look up, so he wasn't really doing a great deal with the machine.
When the girl finished, he looked back towards her, thinking.
"Actually... I was wondering if we might be able to try and make a trap," the Reaper said, "It's not homework but.. I'd like to be able to try and see if we can make something that'd actually work."
Yes. That little pisspoor trap that they had made in the not-math class still bothered him a bit.

"T..trap?" Mitsu hadn't been very good with the traps as their class together had proven quite nicely. "I...I can try." The lupine looked hesitant though. "A...are you sure you want me to help?" She hadn't been much help before so no doubt her aid would only make things worse. Or at least she was pretty certain it would.

"Yes. I'm sure," Shun said while standing up. He went ahead and placed his computer back onto the desk, then turned towards Mitsu.
"It's obvious we could both use the work," he said quietly while making his way towards the door, "We'll just.. do something similar to last time. Fetch some materials outside then put it together. We'll see if we can snag anything."

"O..okay," Placing her notebook aside for now Mitsu figured she could return to gather her stuff later. She really didn't need to drag her books and notebook with her.
Standing to her feet she joined the reaper, trying her best to focus her mind on doing traps and not on what they had just talked about. It ranked pretty high on the difficult meter though. "I..I guess lead the way." Maybe if they worked on the traps they would figure out where they went wrong, though she really had no idea what use knowing how to set traps was.

Nodding, Shun paused by the door to glance over at the bed where Bent-Tail was curled up on.
"Stay here Bent. We'll be back soon," he said before stepping on out. He went on his way towards the area outside of the dormitories, seeking out what might be a good place to try and set things up. Stopping in one area, he figured it was just about as good as any other spot.
"Alright.." he started while looking around the perimeter, "I guess we should start looking for materials."
As he said this, he walked on over and found a stick on the ground.

Grabbing her mask before they left Mitsu put it in place as they were walking out the door. She followed the reaper out of the dorm and even further until they were in a semi-wooded area. Her ears twitched hearing the nearby noises, eyes scanning about wondering if she would see anything.
"Okay," She gave a hesitant nod before looking around the area to find something of use. No rocks....she had already decided.
After a bit of searching Mitsu found some vines, that could always be useful for tying things up right? It was one of the materials they had gathered in class. What else to use? She continued to search until she stumbled upon some berries. Ears perking a bit she looked them over. Mitsu really had no idea if they were poisonous or not but they were worth taking back right? Maybe Shun would know and if they were edible they could be used as bait. Gathering a couple of handfuls of berries Mitsu headed back to where they had started eyes looking about encase she saw something else.

Moving on around, Shun picked up another stick. He wondered if there was a way they could find another beetle shell or something similar to that. There were likely other ways they could try and catch themselves a critter, but their materials were rather limited.
Well. Maybe they could dig up a small hole to make a pitfall type trap.
It would really depend on what they could find.
Frowning, he found a couple more, smaller sticks, and a few loose leaves. With the materials in hand, he headed back to where they started, looking around to see what Mitsu had managed to get.

On her path back Mitsu spotted something interesting on the ground. She couldn't quite make out what it was, it was covered mostly in dirt but had a very rounded shape. Maybe it was a bowl? Setting her other things aside the lupine did what most canines did best, dig. It didn't take her long to unearth what had mostly been underground.
It...looked like a skull. Or at least part of one. It was definitely bone and rounded but it was fairly large. Well....maybe it could be useful. Flipping it over to make a bowl Mitsu put her other items inside it and headed back. This...was very similar to the not math class. So there was a method to the madness.
When Shun came into view Mitsu quickened her step being sure to be wary of her feet, looking to see what the reaper had found. "What did you find?"

Seeing Mitsu return as well, Shun dropped the items at his feet in the mean time.
"Mostly a bunch of sticks and some leaves," he said, "So I guess I have some stuff that could potentially be used for support and possibly as cover. What do you have there?"
It looked like she had some bowl-type item in her hands with something inside of it. He couldn't really see what that was or what the bowl was exactly from where he stood. In any case, it seemed they had some potential to set up something interesting. Even without knowing what she had there, he was already thinking up of various ways they could get their trap together with what he knew.

"I have...a bowl I think?" She started to shuffle through the things she had managed to acquire withdrawing the length of vine she had found and then tilted the bowl to show Shun the berries. "I got vines and some berries too...I don't know if they are edible though." She didn't know enough about plants to be sure. It is very possible she picked up something poisonous.
"W-what do you think we can make?" Mitsu looked over his sticks trying to think of a trap they could make. Ideas were not plentiful so hopefully Shun had something in mind. The only thing the lupine knew was that their previous trap had not worked...and that rocks were very heavy and it was best to leave them where they were.
