A grim expression on her face, Blair turned to look at him, "How in the world did you get a hold of one of them? And why did you set it off? Just so you can stun it?"

"I captured with 2 partners of mine." Kite says. "I use it anymore to train with. It's never going to be nice though, so watch for it." He begins to scan the room for it.

"There you are." Kite says, seeing a slight parting in the mist and letting off a burst. Nothing happens. "I missed. Oh well." A claw attempts to hack his torso, but the armor deflects the attack.

Dropping her sword and jumping back three steps and jumping onto a crate that just happened to be hanging around and drew her bow and pulled out an arrow and nocked it, aiming. "Don't move."

Kite001 Kite stands there, holding a flash grenade in his hand. "Where are you, Mistrider?" (Me?) Aiming her bow at what she thought was a moving object, Blair almost released before realizing that it was Kite.

The fog disperses as if a voilent wind has just started, and the mistrider is lying on the floor stunned. "And that is why they create a thick fog." Kite says, grabbing the box it came in and walking over to it. "They are stunned by bright light."

Blair lowered her bow and strod towards Kite with an angry expression. "What was I supposed to think other than it was currently hostile and going to attack at the drop of a hat?"

"It was hostile." Kite says, putting the mistrider back in. "It's just that mistriders are completly open to bright lights. That's why you normally find them inside abandoned buildings. And yes, it did attack me." He shows her the dent's in his armors side."

"You know, Kite, you need to start investing in some better armor. Maybe the dent resistant kind." Unstringing her bow and returning the arrow back to her quiver, Blair was free to fold her arms and stare at him.

"Two layered armor" Kite says, pulling out a dent remover and setting to work with it. "It dents, but rarely breaks. The denting takes most of the impact out of an attack."

"Okay, how about you start investing in some of that for me?" Her demeanor was teasing, but she really wasn't. The last encounter she'd had with Kite, her armor had been completely torn to shreds and he'd been promising to replace it for her and hadn't.

"I think there's another set in box H-26." Kite says, thinking while undenting his armor. "Not sure though. That might actually be the box I have several other captured things."
