Awareness: (20+0) vs. 10 [pass]Batsu decided that is was best to change his location in hopes of finding more jellyfish. The boy walked a few meters away and looked at the sea creatures there. Sure enough, there were more targets. He spotted one in particular and tightened the grip on the net. He made sure he was ready this time. The boy had two misses already and didn't want anymore. The sooner he was done, the better off he was.
Capture: (12+4) vs. 12 [pass]Batsu sighed as he lifted the net up above his head slowly. He noticed that the jellyfish didn't move and that meant that it was dead or didn't see Batsu. Either way it gave Batsu the upper hand. The boy lowered the net over the animal and jiggled the net around. The thing didn't move, so the thing was dead. That meant Batsu had no opposition. So he captured the third jellyfish with ease.
Awareness: (6+0) vs. 10 [fail]Batsu caught his third jellyfish and set out to find his fourth. The boy ended up spotting another jellyfish, but it wasn't physically similar to the fire jellyfish. Upon analysing it, it was the man-o'-war jellyfish. If Batsu wasn't careful, he'd be in for an agonizing death. The boy made sure that he was a safe distance away and walked around the creature. He wanyed the poison, just not bad enough to commit suicide.
Awareness: (18+0) vs. 10 [pass]The boy walked around the man-o'-war and decided to scan the shoreline some more. The boy looked ahead and saw that there was a fire jellyfish on its way back into the sea. Batsu gripped his net and went in to try and capture it before fleeing.
Capture: (8+4) vs. 12 [pass]Batsu ran up close enough to the jellyfish and quickly swiped at it. A few of its tentacles started flailing at the attempted capture, but gave up when Batsu scooped the thing up. Batsu smiled in succession. He still had six more to go, but it made him feel a bit mire confident. He was getting used to this and wasn't making any misses.
Awareness: (10+0) vs. 10 [pass]The boy's grin soon faded. He was growing a little tired of this crap Why wasn't it mating season or something. That way, there would be a great mass of them. One swoop would give him ten captures instantly. The boy sighed in frustration. Consolation was that he ended up a meter away from a fire jellyfish on the ground. A couple more steps and he would have been hit.
Capture: (19+4) vs. 12 [pass]Batsu stared down at the jellyfish and watched its movements. There were, in fact, none. So it meant that this was another dead jellyfish. Batsu just casually swooped the thing up and continued perusing the beach for more.
Awareness: (1+0) vs. 10 [fail]Batsu decided to leave the portion of the beach with the fish and sat down in the grass. The boy took in the beautiful surroundings. The water was crashing against the sand and made a beautiful whoosh sound. The air was pleasantly salty and the sun was starting to set over the horizon. The atmosphere was gorgeous, but the task at hand was anything but.
Awareness: (17+0) vs. 10 [pass]Batsu continued to marvel at the serenity of the beach. He couldn't help but watch the gentle waves come crashing in. The beached animals were granted a second chance at survival when the water came to rescue them. Meanwhile, there were those that had become so unlucky to become beached... like the fire jellyfish that washed up on shore.
Capture: (12+4) vs. 12 [pass]Batsu stood up onto his feet as he saw his new target wash up on shore. The boy grabbed his net and went up to the beast damn near instantly. Batsu wasted no time making a sweeping motion at the jellyfish. The thing had no chance. All Batsu needed was one shot and it was gone inside of the net.
Awareness: (16+0) vs. 10 [pass]Batsu scooped up the jellyfish right as another wave came crashing in. Odd thing was that this wave also brought in another fire jellyfish. The animal came in directly at Batsu's feet. Apparently it sensed danger because one of its tentacles went up to strike. Batsu stepped back and gripped his net tight.
Capture: (12+4) vs.12 [pass]The jellyfish's tentacle was still up in the air. Instinctively Batsu's net went up as well. The boy hasn't been stung yet and he damn sure wasn't about to let it happen now! The boy struck his net downward and he gave the offender a nice new home in the net along with his relatives. Batsu sighed soon after. He wasn't so sure if he could continue doing this.
Awareness: (6+0) vs. 10 [fail]Batsu decided to take a break from hunting. The boy took a seat back away from the shore and sat down. He didn't bother to look at anything. The boy just dropped his head and sighed. He wanted to stop so bad, but he was so close to finishing. He did decide. however, that he wouldn't continue with the second portion of the mission.
Awareness: (5+0) vs. 10 [fail]First the first time since he was appointed a team, Batsu started to think about Shinzu and Masaraku. He new that both of them were short-ranged ninja. They both had pretty bad a** weapons, all Batsu had were his bow, arrows, and medical ninjutsu. If any of the two were to get hurt, Batsu would shine. Anywhere else, he had to rely on the other two. The thought of having to depend on someone else made Batsu's skin crawl.
Awareness: (18+0) vs. 10 [pass]The young boy shook all over at the thought of being reliant on anyone else. He knew it was necessary, but until he fully grasped the concept there was no way to help him. The male had enough of sitting so he grabbed his net and stood up. Batsu walked over towards the sea and watched for any signs of a jellyfish. There just so happened to be one lying motionless about 1 meter to his right.
Capture : (18+4) vs. 12 [pass]The jellyfish continued to sit on the shore. Waves came crashing in over and over, but the thing made absolutely no attempt to go back in the water. It was just sitting in the sand when all of a sudden it was surrounded by a net and was scooped up off the ground. Batsu had trapped it in the midst of its ignorance.
Awareness: (8+0) vs. 10 [fail]Batsu had now captured eight jellyfish. The boy was definitely happy about that. Two more and he could redeem the jellyfish for some poison. Granted, fire jellyfish weren't all that dangerous. But it was definitely a start. He was way too weak to handle the more poisonous animals anyways. But DAMN did he want some.
Awareness: (16+0) vs. 10 [pass]Batsu continued to think about the poisons he could possibly have access to, but as he did so, a lone jellyfish could be seen squirming out the corner of his eye. Batsu detected the movement and turned his head to get the exact location of his fishy target. The boy gripped his net and stalked his prey like a hawk.
Capture: (20+4) vs. 12 [pass]The boy continued to watch the jellyfish's motions. The beast continued inch its way back towards the water. The young boy let him do so and waited ever so patiently. It was extremely evident that Batsu was playfully toying with the aquatic being. The jellyfish got to the edge of the shore and right before a wave came in to take it away, Batsu snagged it with his net.
Awareness: (18+0) vs. 10 [pass]Batsu just netted his ninth jellyfish and he was starting to enjoy himself. He couldn' wait to find that last jellyfish. The best part about that was the fact that there was one wiggling on the shore in confusion. The boy casually walked over towards it and got himself into a advantageous position. It was down to the wire and he didn't want to ******** up now.
