It happened so fast it almost surprised him but at the moment he was merely caught (pleasantly) off guard when the ghoul suddenly fell but where she fell actually did surprise him. Soon she was on top of him and touching one of his ears which admittedly felt nice since she had a pleasantly cool touch it seemed. The fact that she was still sitting on him didn't honestly bother him and certainly he felt a bit sore on impact it was quite alright.

He would live.

Akubi stared at her and continued to grin even as she blushed and greeted him, "Hihi," he said lightly to her in a friendly tone - he almost seemed to be purring.

Misfortune made him happy even if no one really got seriously hurt.

"Hurt anything? You okay?" He at least was kind enough to ask or perhaps he was hoping something more than her heel of her shoe broke.

She wasn't sure why she felt a little unnerved by the boil's question, since he seemed somewhat concern about if she was hurt from the fall... Perhaps it was the way he was grinning when he greeted her. She had sort of expected him to be equally flustered at being landed on.

"S-sorry!" She stammered before shaking her head, "N-no, I feel fine, thank you..." Still blushing away, she quickly stood up, grabbing onto Mac's arm and using him to support herself in order to stop herself from falling again before slipping out of her boots, wriggling her toes as she frowned; that was odd... Those boots were fairly new! Ugh, now she'll have to deal with walking about barefooted. Or maybe she could break the heel off her other boot, even though they would probabaly be uncomfortable to walk around it.

Looking at the boil she had (earlier) landed on, she offer him a sheepish smile, "And y-you? Are you alright...?"

Not like he could help the way he grinned. Certainly he had other expressions but right now the grin was a default, someone fell and sure they fell on top of him but at least they were pretty, a bonus in his books. Then again he'd be equally delighted if it was a boil as well he was an equal opportunist cushion. No gender discrimination with him.

When she finally got up and he got up as well brushing himself off and meticulously straightening his hair almost moving to look his hand as if it was a paw but stopping himself and tucking some hair back from his face to satisfy the urge, "I am fine," he said smoothly as his ear flicked.

"I am just happy that nothing...too terrible happened to you," he tilted his head to the side and then started to look to the others the pink haired one was with getting a closer look at them as it were. "I am named Akubi."

They didn't ask his name but honestly he didn't much care if they wanted to know. Might as well let them know he didn't mean intentional harm with a name, right?

"O-oh! I'm Lizzy!" She nodded, gesturing at herself before dipping her head; ahhh! Where did her manners go? She fidgeted with the sleeves of her kimono before smiling weakly at the boil, still feeling rather embarrassed by her little 'trip', "It's nice to meet you, even if uh, our first meeting had to go like this..."

Her attention soon went to the ears atop his head, however, as she searched for something to distract herself with. Those soft and furry ears... They reminded her of Mitsu's ears! At least, the way they felt when she rubbed them.

Each new buzz from the phone now tucked away in her pocket was another bee with its stinger eagerly awaiting to puncture skin, though she didn't bother to look at them.

Flipping the tables helped to quell some of the rage.. But the most satisfying was when she heard that familiar yelp. A cruel smile immediately overtook her features...

Though it was short-lived. Nicknames... She HATED nicknames!

"Babe? BABE? Do I LOOK like an infant to you?!" She shouted, reaching to grab the collar of the boil's shirt with both of her hands. Normally she disliked physical contact, but THIS was an exception. There was no way in hell he was getting away from this one. "My name is RIYO. Not BABE, not HOT STUFF, and certainly not c**t (as much as it may have suited her)." She... Had probably shouted that louder than needed.

Her pupils now slits as thick as razor blades, the ghoul stared holes into Deacon. "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't beat you to death with one of these tables, because I've done worse to people for much less." Was it a bluff? Could've been, though it certainly didn't look like it.. One could almost see the comical cartoon steam coming from her black feline ears.

As Felix was being examined by the more timid hazcat, the nergal also made a point to give his cousin a sniff. He didn't feel threatened by this male, so of course there was no problem. Offering a purr to the new acquaintance, the black and green feline rubbed his masked cheek against the brown hazcat. At least somebody was making friends at the festival...

Levi grinned at Mot's greeting and nodded in return to Hel. Good ta meet'cha. Then the tall ghoul got a hug from her favorite little demoness. Like a doll she was; that Lizzy. On release, the demoness mentioned the flipping of tables which Levi had already attempted once before seeing the group. She just had to do it. Er-... if we weren't 'supposed ta... She rubbed at the back of her neck with a hand which would've tipped anyone off as meaning too late.

There were eyes on them... and Levi's ears perked at the thought of being watched; somehow this particular case of being watched was most unsettling. What came next made the tatzel snap over to see Lizzy wobble over and then fell on an unknown fuzzy-eared boil. They spoke for a moment before the boil turned to look at the group. Levi narrowed her eyes at Akubi when he looked to her and she tilted her head in curiousity. Those black fuzzy ears reminded her of her kin back home... but he couldn't be tatzel. Given her previous experience with questioning students about potentially being tatzel, the odds seemed against her.

Levi she offered in return for his introduction. Pleasure. Ya'll ain't from tha school, are ya? She was scanning over the boil, just short of actually circling him to check him over. Her long white tail swayed behind her when she noted her lacked the same thick tendril of a tail she had. He isn't a tatzel after all.

Neither Akubi or Hel had skullpins like the other students had... this meant there were more than just students at this festival, she guessed.

Realizing she still had a small bag of candy corn cookies in her hand, Levi decided to open the bag and offer the cookies she made out to the others. They were just meant to be a snack as she walked about the campus, but since she was here... it was only polite to offer them up. She held the open back out to the others with one hand and the sugary scent wafted out of the opening of the bag. Any 'a ya'll care fer a cookie? Homemade~ She picked one out herself to nibble at only to have it fall to the floor after it broke off at her fingertips. She frowned at the waste of a good cookie; how unfortunate. They weren't that dry, were they?! She could've sworn the recipe was correct.

Dangit all...

Hel was silent for the moment, just assessing the small group around her as they interacted with each other. It seems like she had come across a tight group of comrades! It was very nice to see. Lizzy, as she noted before, did not exactly look like a fighter, and she couldn’t exactly put her finger on what she thought Mac or Mot was capable of, yet. Levi on the other hand though…she thought she could easily grow to like that ghoul. Very outgoing and strong willed…and she was trying to flip a table earlier too!

The reaper was pulled from her thoughts as a commotion happened with Lizzy, and when she turned her gaze she was greeted by the sight of a strange cat eared boil with Lizzy upon him. With a broken heel. Hel frowned lightly as she made to go towards her. “Are you alright, friend?” She inquired, pausing when the strange boil helped her up. There seemed to be something…off about this new comer. The way he seemed highly interested in Lizzy’s condition just didn’t seem right. At Levi’s question though, dual-toned eyes shift to the ghoul, along with a shake of her head. “No. I’m here as a visitor.” The other boil she wasn’t sure about. “I missed the Open House, but upon hearing about this festival, I knew I had to make the trip.”

She smiled as cookies were then offered. “That’s very kind, thank you.” She then watched as the cookie Levi was holding just suddenly broke apart. Uh oh! Not wanting to be rude and dismiss Levi’s cooking, the reaper moved to take one, when suddenly the button holding one of her apron straps snapped. Hel paused once more, a dark brow raised as she looked down at her now lop sided apron. First, Lizzy’s heel. Second, Levi’s cookie. Third, her apron. All when that strange boil appeared. Her eyes narrowed a bit as she cast a sideways glance at Akubi.

The reaper straightened, snapping the button back onto her apron and smoothing it out and holding her hand out for a cookie. “Regardless, I’m sure they’re delicious.”

Mot saw Lizzy flail., and was about to move to catch her, but unfortunately she went down before he could manage. "Lizzy?" What had happened? Was she alright? Seemed that way, and the boil she fell on seemed in good spirits.

Well, all is well. No harm done!

Then a cookie crumbled and an apron button popped.

Mot raised an unseen brow, tilting his head toward Akubi. What a strange coincidence. Oh well, it was cookie time!
A sudden breeze picked up, knocking a rope end lose from a sign, and swinging at Mot's hat. The sudden impact cause his beloved Hat to go flying off his head, and directly into Mac's face.

Mot clung to where his hat should have been, only to be greeted with a head full of fluffy hair. What!? Where was the hat?

...

"Uuuh.." Mot muttered shyly, holding out his hand for the hat, his eyes darting from side to side, his head meekly lowering. "Little help?"
Pleasepleaseplease give it back...

Gracie walked up to the flipped tables area. Her eyes looked at all the various students walking around. She wondered if they all knew each other. she wondered if one day; she'd be in that academy, and they'd know her as well.
She was feeling a tad shy, so she just slowly tip toed over to a spot and started to pull some of the tables towards her. from where she stood, they seemed almost like... a puzzle with all of its pieces scattered around this area. She started with the ones she had pulled in front of her. She moved a few together to see if they fit. They didn't, but she wasn't discouraged. She fit one of two of them in way that almost look like they fit. She decided to leave them as was. She stood there to see how she was coming along. Her eyes followed some group of people nearby.

It had already been four hours since Zen had started strolling through the Floresctival, and they were currently passing by an area heavily populated by tables. This One figured it was a good time to rest their... (for all currently observable intents and purposes) tireless skeleton legs- However, all these tables appeared to be flipped over.

There was a cute girl nearby pulling some of these tables together like puzzle pieces. Does that one intend to sit? Zen wondered, bemused. The monk decided it would make Zense to help restore one of these to an upright position and stopped playing their bamboo flute, sliding it into This One's cloth pouch at their hip.

Zen approached Gracie's nearest table, tilting their upper body in polite greeting and then placing their hands underneath as a sign to lift it. Even with the mask, it was obvious they were looking in the girl's direction expectantly. This One was not so sure they would be able to gracefully accomplish the task alone.

This festival sure was tiring. Exhausted from a long day of meeting people and playing games, Cuinn stumbled into the flipped table area. The scarefari zone was too crowded now for him to relax in. Cheerfully, he walked over to a couple of tables and arranged them into a nice, dark fort. The spirit, happy to have some shelter from all of the hustle and bustle around him, climbed into his makeshift dog house for a nap.

Even though he was dead and technically did not need sleep, there was nothing he liked more than cuddling up, tucking his nose under his tail, and getting some peace and quiet. The cu sith arranged his various prizes around him self neatly. With so many fish eggs and first stage minipets, it almost looked like he was incubating some kind of inter-species nest.

Unfortunately, Cuinn’s rest did not last long. Too many people were around. He woke quite suddenly to the sound of shouting. My name is RIYO. Not BABE, not HOT STUFF, and certainly not c**t. Geez. Someone around here was in a bad mood. After stretching out his stiff legs, he gathered his things and crawled out into the open.

Oh. This was unexpected. He spotted someone familiar ~ ! Cheerfully Cuinn trotted over to Zen and Gracie. He gave a polite nod to the strange ghoul who was moving around tables before resting his arm on Zen’s shoulder. “Long time no see!” he commented, grinning at the skeleton monk. His smile was just wide enough that it showed his pointed teeth.

The last time these two had met, Cuinn had tried to chew on Zen. He hadn’t given up on getting a hold of those tasty bones just yet.

Gracie looked at Zen. She was a little startled at first, then worried, and finally relieved to be discovered by who seemed like might be a local student. She blushed a little and waved. "Hi.... oh... do they go together if we lift them up?" Without waiting for an answer, ran around to flip one back up to see if it worked or not.

She looked when she heard someone else approach. She was encouraged a great deal that these people were so open and willing to talk to her. She had been under the impression most people there were from the local academy. The one she wanted to get into. She then looked around some more to discover some people had dressed up for the festival. Well.. she felt like she sure wasn't fitting in. Maybe these guys wouldn't mind though? They had approached her already as it was.
"My name's Gracie... My parents insisted I come out to this festival. They said i'd like it since it has a lot of fish." she looked around feeling a little nervous as she started to push, flip and fit more tables together.

Why couldn't he find anything to take his mind off all the annoyances around him? Why couldn't he find something that would amuse and entertain him? Why was this event more aggravating than anything else so far? He was so close to finding amusement before, yet to all slipped away.

Letting out a short growl, the hippogryph kicked at the ground as he walked along in to unknown part of the festival. He had seen the Haunted House. He had seen the Scarefari. He had seen most of the game booths, especially that dang phone booth that just wouldn't open! But this, no. Rykier had never seen what looks like a battle field of flipped tables with a bunch of people running around? What exactly was so fun about flipped tables? He did not know, but he guessed he was going to find out one way or another.

Stuffing his hands in to his pocket, and his tail flicking around behind him, Ry cautiously made his way over towards the "booth" to investigate what was going on.

"Now what is going on here?"

Zen could only smile back in spirit at the girl's cute behavior, and could not help but notice that she was the skeleton's zenior when it came to flipping large picnic tables. Gracie, as she called herself, was stronger than she looked! Seeing as there was no longer a need for This One's help, Zen's fingers uncurled from the bottom of the table and then straightened themselves up.

That is when a Cuinn's familiar figure approached. Zen did not mind being a shoulder to lean on, though admittedly they never expected to encounter the literal version of this expression; after being a monk for a certain time, one becomes unaccustomed to physical contact. Especially from someone who has attempted to chew on the little of what's left of your body. It was by enormous chance that the monk had escaped last time as Cuinn had senses that Zen did not. Rather than simply step aside and let the Cu Sith stumble, however, This One attempted a greeting bow from that awkward angle- and in failing, raised a skeletal arm to wiggle at him as Gracie had done, in a more typical 'hello.'

This One has seen the fish. This one will offer to show her, later, Zen thought.

Mo walked over to the booth very puzzled as to why there were so many flipped tables. She looked around a bit freaked out in her surroundings her tail began to twitch nervously. Mo began to walk around not wanting to touch anything just yet.

When she turned to see him that boil Cuinn she backed up slowly quickly turning around about to run away. She came to a sudden stop almost hitting Rykier but instead fell on her back. She slowly sat up her hood fell her ears pinned back as she groaned sitting on the ground.
