Her hit wasn't bad, but the creature didn't mind, since it left the little meal open to be snapped up and gobbled down. It quickly reached for another, but even though the attempt was partially blocked, it had a look in it's eyes that told the rescued meal, "Soon."Current Jolly Target: 5 HP left The OOC -Tahki must defend the jolly meals and take down the giant jolly cannibal! -Each Jolly Meal has 10 HP! - Just roll 2 d10! Tahki watched in horror as ANOTHER one bit the dust and another one was well on its way.
Okay now she was annoyed! She leaped up again and attempted to strike. Where was the defense?

With greed shining in it's eyes, the monstrous Jolly dove for the meal and tried to snatch another up. It only succeeded in grabbing one, and oh how he paid for it when Tahki attacked it dead on. Roaring with pain at her attacks it lashed out blindly toward whatever was near. And then it roared again because that happened to be another jolly meal. Unshed tears of joy glimmered in it's eyes even as it's wounds leaked more blood onto the kitchen floor. Tahki frowned as yet another one of her precious cargo died. She was going to have to try her hardest to deal with this mess before ginger got back! She leaped again! And took a small bite of the big jolly meal!

The creature was so startled by the bite that it spit out the half eaten, but still very much dead Jolly meal. Right onto Tahki's head. The thing wailed at the loss and didn't even managed to grab the next one! OH GOD! HALF EATEN JOLLY MEAL ON HER HEAD!
Tahki took the moment to do the omg omg omg icky stuff on my head dance before she knocked the thing off her head. Some protector she was turning out to be. This time she stood a little more firmly in front of the remaining meals.

Okay now there was one and most of one left. Tahki leaped at the gaint meal and tried for another bite of the thing! She was starting to toughen up now. Even if Ginger came home to none of her meals she could proudly say she fought.
