Trixie watches as something in his eyes change. "Cheater," she says, a slight hiss at the end of it, but she, herself, is amused none-the-less, and she looks away finally.
She finds herself thinking that she should have jumped and tried to scare him when she had the chance. . . . There is always next time, a voice in her head says, and she smiles at that.
"You make elbow blades, 'specially with snakes, and I buy them. No one else on island deserve such nice weapon. 'Cept, maybe, you," she adds, a little grudgingly. "Maybe armor, but that bulky. Don't care for too much cloth, so, I guess, no care for hunks of metal on me," she laughs a little. "No bad feelings meant."
Snakey comes slithering back to Trixie then, and she grins. A bird! It is her lucky day! When Snakey deposits it in her lap, she grabs at it as quickly as a striking snake, and holds the limp body in her hands a moment. Without even thinking about it, her jaw unhinges, and her fangs come down a little. She swallows the bird whole, and closes her eyes, pleased.
She opens one of them, however, and looks at Signis, guaging his reaction. "Sorry, I hungry. I not think to ask Snakey bring you something. Don't know what you like eating."

Signis nodded his head opened his mouth to speak when she started to eat. His mouth remained open for a moment or two more and then he shut it, then opened it again, only to have it shut without a word coming out. She's just ate the whole thing whole!
He didn't know weather to be scared, or intruged...
He leaned towards intruged, if only because of his curious nature... That, and she'd noticed his change when he'd ebraced the void, that meant she was observant... That boded well from teaching.
"I'll teach it to you if you'd like..." Signis said finally. He decided to not tell her his preffered choice of food, if only cause it would be difficult for her to aquire either way.

"Teach what?" Bellatrix asks, the amusement in her eyes over Signis's reaction to her manner of eating, both of the yellow irises practically sparking with it.
More points for Signis. He didn't faint, or run away, or call her a freak.
"You try to teach me that . . . thing you did? To cheat?" she adds on to her question, the amusement now, clearly, in her voice. She folds her hands in her lap, and leans forward, her tail tapping the trunk of the tree behing her.

"Yes, exactly..." Signis chuckled nodding his head. "It's very useful, for more things than cheating in a staredown..." He grinned and nodded his head. "I use it when I fight, it helps me focus more on what I need to be doing, I also do it when I craft... It allows me to know everything better..."

A greedy glint comes to her eyes, and the wicked smile returns. Oh, she could find various uses for such an ability! Imagine what she could do if she could better concentrate on certain things. . . .
The smile, and the glint, somewhat fade, as Trixie forces them down. "I very much would be greatful," she says. "Whenever want to teach, you tell me. It sounds good thing to learn," she nods, emphatically, at that.
She blinks when she hears hissing, and looks over at Snakey. Frowning, and looking terribly disappointed, she returns her gaze back to Signis. "I have go. Lenore coming soon, bringing more pillows," she smiles. "I live in cave, over there," she points in the direction she will be heading toward soon. "You come over whenever. Beaded curtains always open for you," another grin.

Signis nodded looking off in the direction she pointed. He'd head that way first, find the cave, then head home, so he knew where she was. "Good, I'll bring a blade for your size when I come to visit... Is there anytime you would like me to?" He chuckled slowly rising to his feet and grabbign his hammer's shaft, leaning on it.

"That be great!" Trixies tilts her head, still grinning, and actually giggling a little. She stomps that out. She does not giggle. "I usually sleep durring day, unless I feel need to sit in sun. Any time is good time to visit, though. I wake up when someone close to my cave," she nods again.
"Good luck with hammer and tempers, Signis. Punch wall or something if get frustrated or mad," she waves, and starts toward her cave, Snakey slithering behind her, her wings flapping a little.

Signis smiled and waved the the child, waiting for her to get out of view before following. He spotted the cave then turned right, heading out of the forested and hooking around back towards his own home. He had much the think about... and much to make... He decided he'd make a special blade for Bellatrix, out of Guardium, it would be light enough for her to hold easily and not tire, and besides, his father had trained him starting with real blades, and he intended to do the same. He shook his head and took to the air, heading quickly home, so that he could start crafting.

Signis got home to his forge in a short amount of time, he entered the structure and pushed several stacks of sheilds out of his way, causing them to clatter to the floor loudly. He ignored the mess and noise and headed to the back of the forge, checking his stock of Guardium, seeing if he had enough to make the peice he desired. He decided to put the hammer on hold, he would have to smelt and make more Guardium anyway, so why bother mucking with it now. He looked at his stock and shook his head. There was enough for the blade of the desired size, but not near enough for the hilt, pommel, and gilding he wanted on it. He shook his head and decided he might as well work on the blade, he'd use best steel he had for everything else. He pulled the Guardium from it's cradle and headed over to the forge, placing it down on the anvil only long enough to grab his tongs and then shove it into the depths of the fire, his foot already starting to work the bellows so he could get it hot enough to start heating the Guardium.
If there was one thing he hated about Guardium it was how long it took to heat up... of course, the fact that it retained that heat well was besides the point, it was annoying as all hells to get it to where he needed to so that it would mold to his will propperly, so he soon found himself stomping on the bellows to get the flame to a roar. Of course, he still had to wait all the same, and he spent about three hour sitting and waiting for the silver-green metal to turn white hot. He pulled it out of the fire and placed it on the Anvil, pounding it out with his hammer, grunting with each down-swing. He sighed after about five swings and the metal had not at all flattened as far as he would have liked in the time he would have liked. He put the hammer down and reached for his heaviest, and started to pound...
After two re-heatings, one rest break, and one repared hammer shaft later the blade was finished, save for quenching. Signis moved over to his coldest tub, which he had to constatnly restock with ice to keep it as cold as it could be. He dunked the blade in and let it go, letting it sink to the bottom of the barrel, and walking away to let it cool.
He slept while it quenched, taking his usual pallet in the small uncluttered corner of the shop. When he awoke the next morning, still several hours before dawn he pulled the now cooled blade from the quenching tub and brought it over to the grinding stone, grinding the edges sharp and the top to a fine point. When he was finished he brought the now razored blade to the tempering, tempering the edges hard and the middle softer, allowing the blade a final mostly sliver with a hint of green finish.
He put the blade aside, and went to gather his steel, starting to work on the pommel itself. The steel heated much faster, and he quickly worked on it, smiling as it did not resisit as the Guardium had. Once he had the basic shape finished he left it as it was and set it aside, working on the gilding. He made three snakes on the pommel, one wrapping around the hilt, it's mouth forming where the blade would rest, open and ready to strike with it's fangs. The other two sperpants were coiled around the hilt, mouths also opened to strike. When he was finished he molded the two pieces together and then quenched them, going and getting a bite to eat as the sun rose.
When he returned he tempered the pommel and the gilding, giving it a fine steel shine. He was pleased with his work so far, and started on getting the blade and hilt together. Once he got the bottom the blade white hot he heated the hilt, then merged them, pulling the sword from the flame with tongs and quickly rushing it to the quench befoire the hilt got disfigured fromt he heat. As he let the sword cool he sat back and sighed, closing his eyes, and took a short nap, having exerted a lot of energy since the night before.
When he awoke, he stretched and moved to the quenching barrel pulling the finishied sword from the quench. He chuckled, it was small for him, barely a full hander. He ran his thumb along the blade and smirked as he bleed a little on it. "First blood should always be the smith's..." He laughed and licked and sucked his thumb a bit, then set the sword down on his workbench, and set about forming a sheath for it. He took his best black leather and started to sticth it making sure he kept it the proper length of the blade plus a little extra give room. He decided to give the sheath a little green snake desgin as well, and then finally, sheathing teh blade he was done. He set it aside and pulled his own down laying it next to the one he'd just made, and went to go sleep some more, so he could be rested for teaching.
