Oliver had already seen through this attack. "Maelstrom Fist!" Even at reduced power, it was a strong enough punch to cast aside even fast moving weapons. He aimed it so all but one of the weapons was blocked, strafing swiftly as the weapons were knocked away, kicking one at Kinko. Focusing all attention on one wasn't the way to go, and finding a way to wear them both out quickly could be difficult.

╚══════════════════╝ Noticing that he was being ignored, Hikaru took it a bit better then Ken had. It wouldn't be a surprise attack by any means, but his sensei was distracted long enough to prepare his penultimate technique.
"Let's go, Kyōmei!" he said softly, and Silfarion lit up with a bright light. His chakra flared dramatically, and a hint of something with a deep evil could be felt, to someone with a very, very high chakra perception. "The Legendary Super Skill of a Rave Master, Silver Drive!" he continued, and then he suddenly vanished.
A blur was seen running around Oliver, thought no blows hit him, and the edge of a sword was occasionally seen digging into the ground. He ran straight towards Oliver, then leaped back and reappeared near Kinko. He dragged his teammate out of the way as twelve catastrophic explosions rocked the training field, all centered around Oliver, and the last occurring right where the older man was.
"If that wasn't the clincher," he muttered, his sword reverting to Eisenmeteor, "I don't know what was,"

Doubt those who find it." ► Ken easily deflected the returned volley of weapons with his katatna, and dodged a few that slipped past his parries. As the volley stopped he prepared to move in for another attack but stopped himself as he noticed a blur moving rather fast towards Oliver. He knew Hikaru was up to something and held back, waiting for the attack to play out. Sure enough he was right and before he had time to react Hikaru was dragging him away from a serious of serious explosions.
► "Nice one, " He commented simply, dusting off his pants as he waited for the smoke cloud around Oliver to clear. Hikaru was right, if that hadn't at least slowed him he didn't know much else that could be done by two new Genin. Just to be safe he formed a handful of shuriken from some scrap metal and set them floating in front of him through telekenesis. The shuriken would remain suspended in the air, spinning quite rapidly from the wind chakra Ken was pumping into them.

"Think fast!" Kaida arrived at the Squad One training grounds. The dusty clearing was occupied by three people. One was obviously the superior, watching as the other two faced off. This, Kaida assumed, was to be her new team. Not wanting to stop the action, she moved to the side of the clearing lined with trees and quietly made her way closer. If she could figure out how they fought, she could figure out how they thought. Close enough to see the match comfortably, she settled down cross-legged in the shade of a tree to watch. Soon, the fight turned, the two students ganging up on the Jounin. It was a well-fought battle, both the teacher and his students using well thought-out attacks and counters. Often, instead of defending, an offensive attack rendered the other attack usless, while still engaging. It was fascinating to watch the plan unfold, only to be crumpled and rebuild repeatedly. Kaida was mildly surprised to see the other ninja of her rank using such difficult techniques. They had obviously been practicing. Kaida allowed a smile to creep across her lips. This was going to be a fun team to be on.
Edit: I edited my post, after realizing that there was more than one page. Sorry. ^^;

Still in the air just above the ground, he began seeing a blur cut marks into the ground. At first, it seemed to be a symbol he was creating. He then remembered the explosions from before, and began trying to take air. He escaped most of the blast, some hitting him and propelling him faster. Smoke trailed behind him as he took some of the blast with him, almost appearing to be a stunt show pilot leaving streams of smoke. He coughed a bit, having breathed some of the smoke in, but wasn't injured much beyond that. These genin were something else. Even though he was holding back, their combat skills and planning were something else. he was proud to call them his students, but still had to think about the match at hand. His armor was bearing more scratches as the battle continued. "Time to wrap this up." He lifted both hands into the air, folding them together, fingers interlocked, throwing his hands down, causing himself to descend quickly. he began focusing his chakra into his skin to nullify the physical impact with the ground, but the chakra was concealed within the skin, no traces left in the air.

╚══════════════════╝ "SENSEI, STOP!" Hikaru shouted suddenly, his face contorted with pain. He sank to his knees as some horrid feeling crept over him. First, it was very nondescripit, but a horrible rage and a horrible fear Hikaru felt. It came from a place that waas pretty far away, and then gradually, it died down. The anger disappeared, and the fear was replaced with sadness.
Gradually, the feeling lessened, though he could still feel the heart-wrenching sadness. He stood up shakily and said, "Something horrible has just happened. I'm going to go investigate, please do not follow me. I will be fine on my own,"
Hikaru leaped back into the forest, heading for somewhere he could only feel. What was that?" he asked himself worriedly, How did I feel those feelings?

He flipped, flapping gusts of wind downward each swing of his wings, ceasing his chakra skin. He landed differently than he'd been prepared to, seeing Hikaru in pain. "Alright, I guess we'll call it a day. I'll have something prepared for both of you tomorrow." He smelled a third person had joined, watching the end of the battle. Turning to her he said, "But as for you, I'll need you to stay a bit longer since you didn't get to join in our match."

"Think fast!" The fight went on. It had escalated, the Jounin nearly taking it serious, when it came to an abrupt end. The younger ninja seemed to double over in pain, his face contorted in rage. His expression quickly dissolved into sadness, and he left. His teammate was left on his own, and the Jounin called a halt to the proceedings. Kaida blinked. It felt disorienting to see the action suddenly stop like this. As she attempted to reorganize her thoughts the Jounin noticed her, and called her attention. Apparently, it was her turn to be put to the test. She stood, giving a breif smile."Sounds good. So, same thing, but without a teammate?" '-or plan, or weapons, or well practiced jutsus?' Not good. She had nothing prepared. Foolishly, she had thought that her tardiness would excuse her of this exercise. So much for just gathering effortless information.
Kaida readied herself, shifting her weight slightly forward of center and balancing solely on the balls of her feet. Hands close, ready for signs. The instructor, judging from the previous fight, was looking to gather information. Well, so was Kaida. He could pull first move.
She let her eyes half close as she surveyed the surrounding. The ground was dry dusty earth. The trees were an assortment of coniferous, many of them redwoods. Soft bark, permanent needles. She wished that she had cleats; she had yet to perfectly master the art of tree climbing. She focused her mind on her opponent. A Jounin, with dragon blood. Many scratches and dents in his armor. It was stupid to fight him; it was obvious that it was impossible to win. So, the tactic would be endurance. The longer she could last, the more information she could gather. Fair enough.
"When do we start?"

He held up his hand, open palmed, his fingers spread out. "Five attacks. You may chain together any five of your techniques, or basic attacks. I'll assess your skills based on not only the choices you make, but execution of how you use them together. I'll give you time to think up your strategy."

"Think fast!" Five moves? All her? Kaida's mussels tensed as she attempted to hold in her frustration. This was worthless for her. She counted her breath, letting go of the annoyance. 'No, this is good. He's my sensei, and needs to understand how best to teach me.' Still, it vexed her.
So, what could she show? Was the point only to demonstrate, or was it to attack? Both, she assumed. She turned and ran. Forest and cover would be better, giving her both terrain to work with and a place to think. As she wove between the dense trees she formed the hand signs for a clone. The copy continued on, while she jumped to a low branch. Dragon blood wouldn't be fooled, she knew, but it bought her a little time. Again forming hand signs, she fell to the dirt, letting herself be absorbed by the hole created by chakra. She was halfway through Shinjū Zanshu no Jutsu, Groundhog Technique Decapitation. She had slim hopes that when he passed, she could implement the short-range jutsu, and use taijustu from there to inflict some damage.

He watched as she went into the trees, making use of the terrain. This was a second nature skill, but still a good way to handle things. He saw her jumping on high branches, but a closer look revealed it as a clone. He began running into the woods himself, an area a bit ahead of where he'd guessed the clone was made from. He figured she had some sort of plan in store, but was curious to see what it was.

"Think fast!" Kaida waited under the earth for the jounin to follow. Oddly enough, he did. She had expected that it would be much harder to successfully pull off a D-ranking jutsu on such an advanced ninja. But, she mustn't get ahead of herself; she had not completed it yet. Focusing her mind on her ears, she listened for the tremor of foot falls. He was remarkembly light-footed. 'Probably uses those dragon wings. I wonder how hard it was to- There!' She heard him, practically running over this very spot. Perfect. Kaida's fist burst through the dirt, grabbing at his ankle to pull him under. Shinjū Zanshu no Jutsu, Double Suicide Decapitation Technique was one of the most basic earth release jutsus, yet was one of the most handy.

Feeling an unwanted foot on his ankle, he pulled up on it, the ground now cracking from the force. An earth style? Clever technique, but with both an aerial advantage, and great physical strength, he kept one foot on the edge continuing to lift his foot higher, the only resistance being the ground she concealed herself in. "That's 2 down, time to see the other three you can pull off."

"Think fast!" He pulled upwards, out of Kaida's grip. No time for annoyance. Kaida used the momentum of the pull to jump, following him upwards. She sprung to the adjacent branch, the opposite tree. She needed to get him out of the trees and onto solid earth, or create her own solid ground. She pulled a kunai from her pouch, and threw it to the side. It struck a small sapling, sticking into the soft bark. She pulled the thin wire, tied to the kunia, and the sapling bent. 'Good.' The other end of the wire, in her hand, held the kunia's twin. This was thrown overhead, into the branches above her, then caught again. It was now looped over a study branch. With pressure, the sapling was pulled from its soil and into the air. When Kaida released the kunia in her hand, it dropped to the level of her branch, and of the jounin's branch, tangling among the smaller branching twigs. This elaborate action, when said and done, did nothing at the moment. It was merely an unsubstantial connector between the two ninjas. Time to make it into something. Meanwhile, the still-existing shadow clone turned in its direction, heading back to the confrontation.
Kaida formed the signs for Kage Sōsa no Jutsu, Shadow Manipulation Technique, and her shadow stretched and lengthened. Many hair-thin shadows branched off, rushing along the now-connected branches towards the opposing ninja. Kaida estimated that the clone was about two minutes away. Not long, normally, but this was combat. Every second counted. 'Sixty percent. Three down, two to go. Now, it get's interesting.'
