Nodding to Mitsu, Shun looked over the keyboard a little longer. It seemed to be pretty nice, despite lacking the extra features. That was all that was needed anyway. He went on and followed her to the counter, keeping an eye on the salesman in case he was going to try and pull something at the last minute. Thankfully this was not the case.
Once they had the keyboard and its case, he walked on out with her.
"Not a problem," he said quietly before looking down the street, "Actually I could use a little more oil for my daggers."
Most likely there was some shop somewhere around town that had supplies for helping keeping Reaper weapons in good condition. Sure there was the smithy at the dorms, but that really only helped for sharpening. He had to supply his own blade cleaning things. Pausing, he tried to recall if he saw a place like this. He had a vague idea at the very least.
"Do you need help carrying the keyboard at all?"

"Okay," Mitsu gave a nod though she had no idea where a place like that could be. She obviously didn't need any type of weapon upkeep items.
"I think I have it for now," Mitsu's voice sounded cheery as she shuffled the bag on her shoulders. "It's a little awkward but I think I can manage." But she was glad to carry it. It was her new keyboard after all!
Turning to follow Shun where ever he needed to go Mitsu was careful to watch her footing. She didn't want to trip and land on her new keyboard after all. So it came as a surprise to her when she looked up and saw someone standing in their path on the sidewalk. It was a rather large boy, very much the werewolf and proud of it. He was smiling and chatting with a group of friends his attention only wavering when he turned to see Mitsu up ahead. The boy's grin widened as he nudge the wolf boy beside him and pointing in Mitsu and Shun's direction. Oh...this couldn't be good.

Nodding to the girl again, Shun just placed his hands into his pockets and walked along the street to where he thought the Reaper shop was. He supposed he could try and get a new whetstone as well for if he wanted to do a quick sharpening job in his own room rather than visit the smithy. It wouldn't be the same, but it'd be something at the very least.
Sure the items were made of his own FEAR, but it was still important to take care of them.
Spotting the large boy and his little group up ahead, he didn't really think anything of them. At least, until he saw him point to the two of them. The Reaper furrowed his brow, not sure what to make of this, but he wasn't getting a very good vibe right about now.

Mitsu shuffled nervously in place for a moment turning her head to look for a route of escape. "M...maybe we should go a different direction. I...I don't think-"
"Hey, Mutt," The boy's voice boomed out as he approached, his friends at his heels. It was like he was the leader of the pack.
Mitsu froze, her ears falling back against her head as she cowered down. Nervous hands gripped the straps of her new carrying case with a death grip afraid it would suddenly be ripped away from her.
"Long time no see." The boy's voice almost sounded playful in tone but there was something in his eyes that held malicious intent. "Didn't expect to see you after you left school with your tail tucked between your legs."
Mitsu let out a soft sigh trying her best not to whimper. "H...hi Anton."
"And who is this?" The boy named Anton asked, gesturing toward Shun. He seemed rather amused to see the girl with a reaper of all beings. What a waste.

The moment he heard what the werewolf called Mitsu, Shun's eyes narrowed and looked rather displeased. It seemed that these boys knew the girl. And judging the way they were acing and the way the masked girl was now more nervous than before, he could figure that their past relations were not all that great.
Mitsu had mentioned being teased a lot in her previous schools so it didn't take too much thought of how things were like exactly.
"Someone not of your concern," the Reaper hissed. He didn't like the look in the werewolf's eyes, "And we're a bit busy so if you don't mind, step aside."

The large wolf looked to Shun a bit of a sneer or maybe it was a grin tugging at his lips. "If you're of no concern then you can step aside. I'm talking to the pup."
"Anton....please not here..." Mitsu's voice was a bit of a whimper with her plea. He always did like to start trouble but it only got worse when someone wanted to stand up to him.
"Oh, gonna stand up for the reaper?" Anton mused turning back to Mitsu. "Why are you with him anyway? I know you're not much of a monster but a reaper? A soul toting reaper. Or perhaps your just a pet." That grin was suddenly more devious. "It's really about all your worth."
Mitsu's stance deflated a little, but she didn't say anything. She had been pretty used to this treatment but had been spoiled in the last couple of months. Being at this school she had learned that people could actually be nice to her and not tease her about her looks. Now that she was hearing it all again it struck her hard, stinging a bit more than it used to.

Shun's eyes twitched at that response. Aside from what was said to him, the words said to Mitsu spurred something within him.
"Back off Mutt," hissed the Reaper as he stepped up to get into the face of the larger boy, using the same nickname he had used on Mitsu against him, "She doesn't want to deal with you so ******** off."
Staring hard into Anton's eyes, his fists tightened up for the moment. There was no way in hell that he would let this random douchebag push them around. Or call Mitsu a pet. If they didn't back down soon, no doubt something would break out before long.
"She's worth more than you and your friends' pathetic existences combined," he added. His voice hadn't risen at all, but his tone held a sort of venom within it.

Anton's ears gave a sudden twitch when Shun hissed out the name 'mutt'. There was a short moment of pause before that amused smile grew larger, Anton's eyes widening in an almost excited manner. The rest of his pack stepped up a bit closer as well spreading out at either of Anton's sides. He was certainly not alone.
"Come to defend your dog?" The wolf chuckled his hands tightening into fists instinctively. He took another step closer, his form looming over Shun's being a bit taller by about five inches. His lips drew back into a sneer showing off the pointed teeth that filled his mouth.
"You should know your place reaper. You have no business in monster affairs. If I want to talk her down, I'll talk her down, it's as simple as that. I don't need some human-like trash standing in my way."
Mitsu could feel the growing tension, she didn't want this to break out into a fight. While she was certain Shun was strong he was a little outnumbered and Anton and his friends prided themselves in being muscle heads.
Shakily she stepped forward, a hand reaching out to touch Shun's arm. "S-s-shun."
Seeing Mitsu step up Anton grinned. "Why not turn and run little whelp? Show us your worth. I'm pretty certain that's why your parents and brother abandoned you. They knew a lost cause when they saw one."
Mitsu's form began to shake but she didn't turn toward the boys or even make to walk away. No, she couldn't leave without Shun and it was by his side that she stayed her hand grasping his sleeve. She was scared...terrified really and she was extremely glad the mask hid the tears that were currently falling down her face. The lupine had mastered not sobbing at least but she had never been able to prevent herself from crying.

The Reaper was not at all intimidated by the larger boy's stance. No doubt the werewolf pack were physically stronger than himself but could they really fight? He had ways to take down larger opponents.
"I do know my place. But apparently you don't know yours. Someone should leash you up where you belong," Shun said lowly, "The moment you've leered at her was the moment it became my business."
Hearing Mitsu's shaky voice and feeling her hand at his arm, Shun glanced back for the moment. The girl looked terrified. These boys must have really tormented her a great deal if she was reacting this way. The very thought was pissing him off.
"Ignore their tauntings," he said quietly to her before turning his attention back to Anton. Anger was steadily rising within Shun and if these jackasses didn't back down soon he no doubt would end up resorting to violence to make them do so.
"Quite frankly the only pathetic whelps I see are you guys. What? Got nothing else to do aside from sauntering around like a pack of stray mutts looking for what you think is an easy meal? You better look elsewhere," he hissed before bringing his hands out of his pockets. His daggers quickly in his hands as he glared hard at their leader. While he knew he couldn't do a great deal of damage with the daggers yet, it at least made himself look a little more intimidating. What was a Reaper without his weapons after all?
"So. ********. Off."

A low growl emitted from deep within Anton's chest, his blaring yellow eyes boring down into Shun. "You talk pretty big for someone who might as well be human." His voice rumbled with the anger that had started to flare up. This reaper was really starting to piss him off.
"You're gonna find yourself in some hefty trouble if you keep running your mouth." Anton hissed, his fist clenching and releasing as if he was trying to control the urge to lash out.
The daggers hadn't missed Anton's attention, he really wasn't keen on the idea of being stabbed, but the last words out of Shun's flapping jaw just rubbed him the wrong way. With a growl the large brute of a student drew back his fist aiming a punch square for Shun's head. His movements were a little slower but it was obvious there was power behind those fists.
"Ah! Shun!" Mitsu cowered down seeing Anton draw back his fist. She had seen that look in his eye before. Generally the wolf boy was not merciful.
As Anton started to lash out his pack swarmed the two on the street, one of the boys reaching out to grab hold of Mitsu to keep her from running off. Rough fingers grabbed for fist fulls of fabric and the case strapped to her back, hauling her back to keep close by.

Shun wasn't about to back down at this point and he was expecting something to happen. He was watching the werewolf carefully for any signs that he might be attacking. Being prepared, he was able to dodge Anton's fairly sluggish attack, shifting to the side to avoid getting the fist to his face. No doubt if he were to get hit, it'd be pretty bad news for himself.
After his dodge, he lashed out to kick the canine twice. One was a roundhouse towards his knees while the other was a sidekick aimed right for the chest.
The Reaper shot a glance towards Mitsu to see the others in the pack grab onto her. He couldn't run that way just yet as he had Anton to deal with, but he was trying to keep tabs on everything that was going on around him.

Anton was rather pissed that his first attack had missed trying to collect himself quickly to have at it again. He had just managed to step back and avoid the kick to the knees but was by no means fast enough to avoid the shot to the chest. He made an audible 'oof' sound as the air fleeted from his lungs making the lycan stagger back.
Rubbing at the sore spot on his chest the lycan growled his lips drawing back to expose the sharp teeth that filled his mouth."You days are numbered, reaper." He said the word reaper like it was an insult, the wolf boy lunging forward to throw another shot at Shun's head. If at first you don't succeed?
Mitsu was quickly jerked back, her feet almost being taken out from under her as the other boys grabbed a hold of her shoulder and keyboard case. "L..Let go!" She squeaked.
"Why the mask, Mutt? Do you think that hiding that face of yours will help your cause." One of the boys taunted reaching for her mask. Mitsu instantly reached up to keep her face from being exposed, holding onto the covering with a death grip.

With Anton back and away for the meantime, Shun decided to deal with the boys harassing Mitsu first. While he saw the one werewolf coming at him, he narrowed his eyes and suddenly disappeared in a few wisps of shadowy smoke. He quickly reappeared behind one of the other boys; the one that was reaching for the wolf girl's mask. There he lashed out to bash the guy in the back of he head with the hilt of his daggers. At this stage they were a little more useful that way.
He still hadn't said anything since the start of the brawl. There was no need for him to say anything, as far as he was concerned.

Anton had swung but missed again, his hand running through a light cloud of black wisps. "What the ********?!" He growled his eyes turning this way and that trying to figure out where the reaper had gone.
"Ah!" One of his pack mates had yelped and Anton looked over in time to see the reaper knocking the boy in the head with the hilt of his blade. It caused the boy to back off clutching his skull.
"b*****d." Anton rumbled heading toward where Shun was currently standing not caring that Mitsu was in his path. A careful sweep of his hand sent the girl flying, obviously he didn't care much about what happened to her. After she was out of the way, Anton drew back a clawed hand ready to swipe across Shun's chest.
Scrambling and flailing in mid-flight, Mitsu turned enough so that when she stumbled forward she landed on her front instead of risking damage to her newly purchased keyboard. Her hands still managed to be scuffed from the meeting with the sidewalk but that was manageable compared to what could have happened to her new instrument.

"Mitsu!" Shun hissed as he saw the girl go flying. He couldn't go over to check on her as he quickly saw Anton coming right for him. Narrowing his eyes he jumped back to avoid getting clawed before slashing down towards the back of the werewolf's hand. It wouldn't do that much damage but it could at least make Anton back away for the moment. Hopefully.
