Snatching an ear piece as they were passed around, Nakura hastily put it on and plugged the microphone into the designated slot. He noted with some amusement the force with which Lennyka jammed hers into her Rocket 'dex, but said nothing on the matter. The act itself it said a lot about her personality, but Grunt Nakura didn't bother to comment on it. There was work to be done and no time to waste. It had been ages since he had last been out of the base and he wanted to take advantage of the time he was given.
Receiving the reaction of a frown and a blush from the blond teen, Nakura giggled and shrugged. He had known quite well that Frost was not what had been on Xander's mind when he'd mentioned him, but the info broker had hoped he could have prompted Xander to tell him what had been on his mind without directly asking. It looked like it wasn't going to be that easy, which only made Grunt Nakura all the more curious. He would have to keep a close eye on Xander, who didn't seem to be acting quite himself.
What was that Nyx was saying? Joining the contest? Arceus, no, there was no way he was going to waste time with that. He still hardly knew how to battle with his pokemon, let alone...'contest' with it, or whatever they would be doing in there. Besides, all he had was Celty. The twin Purrloins his twin sisters had given him remained back at the base. He trusted the feline pokemon about as much as he trusted his ridiculous siblings.
Hopping out of the van in his usual but favorite parka (minus the hoodie, unfortunately, due to a certain executive's temper) Nakura scanned the entrance to the city. He craned his head up toward the canopy of the forest, noting the multiple possibilities with which he could reach the top. Finally, he came to a decision: a tree-top city was still a city. A push off a trunk there, a lift from a branch there...his practiced parkour would serve him nicely. He could avoid the crowds and dull elevator music this way. The shadows would likely help cover him, considering his clothing was almost completely dark.
It seemed like it would be better for everyone if Nakura took off on his own. He didn't want Xander thinking they were 'buddy-buddy' any more than he already did. Aside from that, he didn't want to be told what to do or babied. He'd always worked alone before Team Rocket and this didn't change things. He was used to working alone.
Ahh, there was Nyx. It would be unwise to wave to her now, but he grinned anyway. She seemed to have as fun a personality as her hair. Higher and higher Nakura attempted to climb, hoping to get as good a view of the great crowds of people as he could. The stairs and buildings set into the trees provided great foot-holds and hand-grabs for his parkour, especially as he got higher up. And suddenly, there they were: all the people below lined up like ants. A flicker of joy sparked in Nakura's eyes.
"Look at all the humans, Celty..." he murmured quielty to the pokeball in his pocket. "All the lovely little humans and their pretty little pokemon...all ours for the taking." Here and there a few things caught his eye - a flash of a sword, the sparkle of accessories, a...massive man standing amid the contestants and spectators... Nakura had no idea where to start. It was all so exciting!

[Dith] [Guy]
Her eyes widened when Dith mentioned how old Viktor was, "You two have been together for a long time than." This drew a sort of mystified look from Rosie. "Thats so wonderful, I look forward to building that kind of relationship with my pokemon."
She looked from Dith, over to Viktor after this, tilting her head a little. not a lot of Pokemon she met were as aged as he was, Vay'n was the oldest she knew of, and from what she knew Vany'n was in her late 20s, Rosie was very interested in seeing what kind of skill a Pokemon that experienced could do.
Rosie was delighted to hear that Guy was going to be entering the contest, she perked up considerably, but made sure not to step to close to the other trainer, knowing how uncomfortable he was being close to females. She did let out an excited gasp, and lift her hands away from her back. "I'm sure he'll do great."
Her eyes caught the moving crowd, and her eyes were drawn to her watch before she looked back over to Guy "We better get signed up soon than," After saying this she looked up at the giant of a man, rocking forward onto the balls of her feet. "I hope to see you again, I would love to have a battle sometime."

And a squirt from above, as a startled Pidgeot suddenly defecated right above the parkouring grunt before taking off in flight.

Callista had no intention of entering the contest, but going in plainclothes would be a logical decision. Most of what would be provided for a woman was probably too frilly for her personality... but then again, she wasn't going as herself, now was she?
She thought for just a moment before making a decision, and just a few minutes later she was walking into the city wearing a casual white dress, Eden in her arms and watching all of the strange new people, her tail wagging excitedly. Callista's hair hung loose down her back and she adopted a look of wide-eyed wonder - the look of someone who was traveling to a new location for the very first time, who had no idea what to expect.
A cover story quickly formulated in her mind - she wasn't here to enter the contest, but to watch, because she wanted to see a few before she even considered entering; she wasn't willing to do something like that unless her Eevee seemed excited enough about it to try. Even better, Eden's naturally-outgoing nature and surprising coloring would be a great opportunity to get close to people and pick out a target while seeming unassuming.
All it would take would be to catch sight of someone with one of the various evolutions of Eevee, and Eden would do the rest! Since such evolutions were generally a hit in contests, there were bound to be a few around. Already Eden was tensing in her arms, sniffing the air and starting to wriggle - a sure sign that she had seen or heard something that Callista herself had yet to catch wind of.
Callista was willing to bet her rank that it was one of Eden's species that the tiny, pink Eevee had caught sight, sound or scent of. Now she just had to figure out what direction to head in - she couldn't let Eden down to run off, not here. Not yet.

[Lenn]
The elevator that housed Len, didn't go very far. It stopped the next level up, which was still quite a few shy of the one where the stadium was.
When the doors opened, she would see a large fat man with an even larger Snorlax standing behind him. The both of them stepped onto the elevator, which groaned and complained under their weight.
Despite the elevator being large, the man and his Pokemon took up the majority of the cab, even after some of the people had quickly vacated.
The car started moving again, although at a slower pace than before. It wasn't moments later before a strange sound came from the rear of the Snorlax. Followed by a horrendous smell.

[Rosie] [Guy]
Dith nodded at Rosie's words, last thing they'd want was to miss signing up! "Yah, we have," he agreed, "I couldn't ask for a better companion, eh Viktor? Mmh, anyway, I hope to see both of you afterwards," the huge man said with a smile and a nod, relaxing further as Guy failed to whip out his sword and start eviscerating people all over the place. "Good luck to you both," he added with a grin, "I will be watching!"
Taking a step to the side to let the pair move towards the sign up table, Dith cast around again trying to decide where he ought to go next. Still in no particular hurry to decide he allowed the crowd to flow around him, reaching up to stroke Viktor's soft fur as people hurried every which way. He'd never really watched contests before, he'd caught bits of big ones when other people had been watching them on TV but he'd never been to a live one before. The buzz in the air reminded him of the atmosphere that surrounded a big battle tournament, and yet it was not quite the same. He suppose the different quality in the air came from the different demographic that contests versus battles attracted... Hehe, demographic; Snezhok would be proud of him for thinking that. He wondered what his little friend was doing right now and where he was. He was glad he wasn't here, the blond would despise being packed in so tightly with so many other people.

Guy gave a small wave as Dith turned to leave. "Thanks! Perhaps we'll see each other later." He certainly wouldn't mind speaking with the titan-like man again. He was intriguing, to say the least. Guy glanced back over to Rosie. "It seems like we should probably get in line to sign up soon, hm? Shall we go?" He gestured his hand for Rosie to lead the way. He wasn't entirely sure where to go, either way.

Great Arceus and all his disciples that walk the earth like brain dead zombies-
Have sweet mercy.
"You've got to be kidding me."
Yea, sure. It was great getting a kick out of mens' own coconuts but now some omnipotent force was bowling a strike at her end. The elevator didn't help, squished to the brim with people and going at a very lazy rate. However, a nightmare made itself evident as a man with his considerably plump companion stomped on board the S.S. Tight. It didn't help either the Snorlax decided to toot his own horn, straight in Len's direction.
At first, she had tried to ignore the blasphemous smell. Yet, as someone swept a fanning hand in her direction, her split ends curled up even thinner. Irises thinned and a hand immediately slapped itself over her nose and mouth. Don't breath . . . don't breath . . . s**t, how long was this going to take?!
Heph snorted a little and wagged a springy tale. My, where was that lovely perfume coming from~?

[Dith] [Guy]
He was an interesting man, this Mr. Dith, she wished they could stay and talk more, she hoped it didn't seen rude that they were having to take their leave so soon. She gave him another polite curtsey as they did part.
Having no problem with leading the way, Vahy'n still at her side, the blond trainer dressed in her usual travelers outfit took the head and made her way to where she could assume sign ups would be, lead by signs. "I'm glad to see you Guy, I thought you would have stayed with Luke back in Camphoreon, if I had known you were coming I would have gone with you."

Oh, the hell -
Suddenly Izaya's grin was gone. Having almost lost his footing as he was 'defecated' on, the informer had quickly grasped onto the nearest limb that could support his weight and clung there. He sat up to inspect the damage done.
The good news was that his underclothes and most of himself were clean. The bad news was that his parka had taken most of the excrement. With an irritable sigh, the grunt draped his once-favored piece of clothing over the tree limb and swung down from it, lowering himself over a wooden platform that served as a walkway for the city. He would come back for his ruined parka later.
Thankfully, he had already reached the level on which the stadium was located. Even better, he was at a height that wasn't too above or below for him to drop down without hurting himself. However, that meant no going back down for another change of clothes unless he wanted to waste time. Still, Izaya thought his long-sleeved black v-neck would do, along with his skinny black jeans and shoes, even if it accentuated his somewhat feminine, delicate build.
Well, nothing left to do but try to blend in, he thought, imaging everything worked out pretty good so far, all things considered. No one seemed to have noticed him. With luck, not even his fellow Rockets would have noticed his absurdly bad luck. Sticking his hand in his pocket, he grabbed the ball he had retrieved from his parka and released the ghost-type inside.
"Let's go, Celty," he told her, smiling a bit wearily as they followed the crowd. The brown and teal Spiritomb made a quiet whirring sound, looking curiously around at all the strange, new people and pokemon as she followed after Nakura.

[Lenn]
The elevator was very likely way over weight capacity at this point, and continued to groan and complain on its ascent, which continued on at a snail's pace. It then finally ground to a hault. And just as one might think it had frozen in place, the doors slid open... and out stepped the fat man and his Snorlax from the sardine can. The pair making their way to the stadium, but not without stopping by a snack stand to grab some popcorn, soda, and cracker jacks. The pair loading themselves down with treats in both of their arms before continuing on.
Asch had made his way to the top by now, being easily spotted among the crowd for anyone who was looking for him. His red hair did kind of stand out a bit, after all. How did he get up there so quickly anyway, and without even breaking a sweat? It was a mystery. The long haired, vertically challenged agent passed through the crowd, and paused only when his path was crossed with a gargantuan gorilla of a man (Dith). The teen pausing to blink up at him before trying to.. move around the unintentional roadblock.

Xander had to fight with his self to get out of the car. He knew that stepping out of the car would just getting him closer to going up so he had been rather reluctant to do so. Once out he took the time to change into some plain clothes of a white no sleeved turtle neck, black pants and kept his normal boots and belt on. Then the next challenge appeared. He didn't mind Izaya going off, or everyone else splitting off but he just couldn't bring his self to go into an elevator.
He paced a tiny bit before calling out Conrad and scooping the Eevee into his arms. "Ok, I can do this." He muttered under his breath and his pokemon chirruped in agreement. He stared at the elevator and let out a tiny whimper before hugging Conrad and going in. Luckily no one else was in it and he really hopped none of his team saw or sees him freak out.

"Great . . . goodness-!"
Len's knees nearly gave out from the terrible wait and without thought, her body relaxed against the Snorlax and she tried her best to hold her breath. Of course, her attempts came to no avail as every damn creature on this Earth needs their intake of oxygen. When the door slid open and the duo frolicked to the concession stand, Len fell forward straight on her belly, face blaring red as she huffed for much needed air. People slid right passed her as they descended, making idle comments at her motionless form and the odd Tepig fidgeting on her head, a silent plea of, "Why has the ride stopped, man?"
When her lungs got their exercise, Len shifted herself up on one knee and balled a fist in terrible thought next. A bright, curdling red vein clawed the edge of her forehead as she vowed to ultimately get her revenge on those plump two, some way . . . some how.
"Epigtay!" grunted Heph, which drew away Len's attention from devious plots. Oh right, the mission.
Len straightened out her clothing, shifted her glasses up on her nose (with a partial glare of EVIL marking its lenses) and made a hurried trot up the stairs. Sssshow time.

[Asch]
A change in the air currents behind them tickled Viktor's sensitive fur, and he turned his head to see a young human apparently trapped by his trainer's considerable bulk. "Essspie," he nudged Dith's ear and when his friend looked up at him with an 'eh?' expression, he inclined his head at the smaller human.
"Oh!" Apparently he was being an obstacle. "Sorry," Dith grinned and stepped out of the way (which probably inconvenienced some other people, but we can't all be winners when insanely large people are moving around in crowded spaces), "I was not meaning to be a road block. Are you here for taking part in the contest?" He looked dressed up for it certainly - his clothes weren't fancy in colour but the style was quite striking especially that cape/cloak thing - and had a cute little pokemon whose kind he was unfamiliar with beside him.

Eden had been getting progressively more excited for the last ten minutes, but Callista could find nothing that could explain it. Instead, she carried Eden in the direction of the stadium, keeping a firm hold on her so that she wouldn't lose her. If she didn't spot someone who seemed worth targeting soon, she might as well kiss any chance of going on another raid goodbye.
Perhaps if she tried to talk to someone, that would aid her in selecting a target. This wasn't going like she had intended at all - for such a big event full of trainers and coordinators, there just... didn't seem to be anyone who caught Callista's eye. Maybe she was being too picky about her targets?
"Vee! Eevee!" Eden chirped, wriggling in her arms yet again, and it was all Callista could do to keep her from getting down and running off to greet the nearest person. That was probably what she got for keeping her Eevee relatively spoiled.
