The bank robbers on the first floor ignored the sounds of gunfire on the second floor and continued with what they were doing. For the last ten minutes a whirring sound had been coming from behind the teller desks as stone dust flew up into the air. Five minutes later there was a muffled smashing noise that seemed to come from underneath the bank. "Hey boss we're done here!" one of the men shouted. "Start loading the cash!" he yelled back.

Tanya listened to the men speak and hope filled her body as it sounded like the ordeal would be over soon. How ever that hope was fleeting as she felt and arm pull her away from the hostage group. She was pulled away back towards the area behind the teller desk. "We'll take this one as insurance." she heard one of them say. Moments later she was pushed into a dark hole in the floor and watched as her world went dark.

Moments later the rest of the robbers on the first floor ran for the teller desks and jumped down the hole. At the bottom of the hole was small rail car used for transporting construction workers around the subway system. By the time the cops stormed the bank as the hostages ran out they'd be on their way and the robbers up top would be left as scape goats.

Nora had barely heard her cell phone ring over the noise of her power drill and her electric saw running at the same time. Pausing, she shut both of them off and answered her phone, the music playing in the background hadn't faded at all, but it wasn't loud enough to drown out Rissa's voice on the other side. Screwdriver held between her teeth and welding mask on top of her head, Nora asked, "Yeah Rissa, what's up? Something wrong? You sound bothered by something." Nora pressed a few buttons on the console in front of her and set the screwdriver down and her welding mask on the table. The electric saw and the power drill began working on the device on their own and Nora sat back in her chair, which moved back in front of her large number of computer monitors. Nora studied the bank cameras and smiled, "These guys are good," she thought, watching as they drilled a hole into the floor and took a hostage with them. She waited for Rissa's response, wondering what she could want.

Nora smiled to herself as her friend told her the situation. The police didn't have a clue what was going on inside. Nora paused a moment for effect and then replied, "Steel Port Bank? Sure, I can do that. Give me a minute or two." Nora set the phone down and sighed. She could turn the cameras back on and take off the loop, but of course, she'd have to rehack it since the bank would undoubtedly purge their security system. She simply shrugged it off and began to turn the cameras off and on, resetting the connection and making them see what she was seeing one by one. It didn't take long considering she already had a back door into the system. After another minute she picked up the phone and said, "Too easy. These amateurs left a huge hole in the system, I could just walk right in. Cameras are back up, and I hope I won't be prosecuted for hacking into them. Hmmm... looks like your robbers had a plan. Check out the main lobby camera 2, look behind the teller counter." Nora held the phone up to her ear and spun around in her chair,watching the second floor cameras as the robbers exchanged gunfire with a guy in a mask in a cubicle. She decided to leave that out of her description. Smiling lightly, she was enjoying the show, and she wondered whether the robbers would succeed, and if there was any way to help them.

Dom pretended not to notice as the robbers took the girl from beside him and led her away, then made their escape. Mentally, Dominic unlocked the doors and threw them wide open. "Everyone! Get outside! Go to the police and be careful!" Dom used his gift to secure someone's ball cap and sunglasses, and dropped into the hole after the robbers.

"This is probably the stupidest thing I've ever done." He thought as he hit the bottom. "Now, where the hell..." Dom looked around, trying to pinpoint in which direction the robbers had gone. In the semi-dark, there wasn't much to see - just a long, barely lit tunnel and ... rail tracks? Dom closed his eyes and concentrated, trying to "feel" his surroundings for objects he could move. About eight feet away, he could sense a moving rail car, heading west and getting farther and farther away. "s**t" Dom concentrated harder and located a stationary car a few feet behind him. He gave a mental "tug" and jumped on the car as it rolled by. "s**t s**t s**t s**t s**t." Dom muttered under his breath, physically moving the car and mentally keeping tabs on the car in front of him. "Those cops better know what they're doing and get here quick."

Just as Nikolai was about to sneak into the bank through the roof after avoiding all security cameras and alarms to avoid alerting the cops or the criminals, he heard through his ability to bend the electromagnetic waves that the robbers had escaped into the underground. You have got to be kidding me! he screamed in his mind, After I just spent all this time trying to be as stealthy as possible, they decide to move?! All that work put to waste. This did not stop Nikolai in his mission, however, as it now only changed when are where he would have to face these criminals.

Dexterously jumping down, Nikolai quickly rushed into the nearest subway station. He ran the stairs, having no idea where he would have to go. Once on the platform, he stopped to listen, maybe try to find them with the power of hearing. He heard nothing at first, but then he heard a faint sound that sounded like a train. Having nothing else to work with, Nikolai sprinted towards the sound.

Tanya sat in fear on top of the service car as it sped along the tracks unable to see what was going on. The robbers had blinded folded her before her could even adjust to the darkness of the subway tunnel. She could faintly hear the sounds of gun fire echoing down the tunnel though which indicated that they must have left some guys behind to slow down the police.

"What the hell is that!" One of the men yelled as the headlights of the car revealed the sprinting Nikolai. "I don't what it is but run it the hell over!" another one said. Without hesitation they increased the speed of the car so that there was no way that a person could stand up to it. If anyone got in the way now they'd end up like a bug on a car's windshield.

Vincent's gloved hand reached to the back of the utility belt he wore when wearing this outfit, and grabbed what looked like a tazer gun police would use to bring down a running suspect. He knew he needed to act quickly to avoid getting cornered in the cubicle he was hiding out in now. When there was a small break in the gun shots because the men had to reload their guns, Vincent rose up partway out of the cubicle, but still keeping his head low near the top of the wall. He took aim for a rather conveniently placed power box on the opposite wall of this large room he was in. One of the men shouted out to warn his buddies of what was going on, but Vincent's finger had already pressed the trigger. Even though it looked like a taser, it wasn't. It was a small, pistol shaped EMP device. He planned to cut the power in the bank, or at least in the second floor where he was. The device sent out a burst of electromagnetic energy which basically overloaded the circuits in the power box. The lights in the second floor room flickered wildly before plunging the big room into relative darkness. During this blackout, Vincent knew he had to keep moving if this attack was going to be at all effective. Even if the robbers weren't able to see, Vince could see clearly given that his mask had night vision.

Ducking out of the cubicle, Vince rushed at the men, swinging his spear this way and that to knock them out and to the ground. He was so fast, some of them didn't even know what was going on until they felt the blunt end of Vincent's spear knocking their breath from them, or his fist or feet connecting with their faces. Once he was certain all the men were taken care of, Vincent took their guns and hid them underneath one of the desks. 'That should keep them busy for a while.' he thought to himself as he typed up a hasty note for the police on one of the worker's computers telling them to put the robbers in jail or something, leaving a playing card behind on the keyboard (a Jack with a symbol for all four of the suits, one on each corner). Once he had down that, Vincent knew he should probably skeedaddle out of this bank before the police found him and thought he was one of the robbers (which is wasn't). After all, Vince didn't want to get shot at any more than he already had been. With this in mind, he hurried down another hallway which ended a door to the staircase to the roof. Vincent exited up on the roof where he ran towards the edge and leaped across the gap between two neighboring buildings, one being the bank and one the building next to it. Vince landed on his feet in a crouch a few seconds after his leap. "Well now. That was a close one." said said to himself as he stood up to dust himself off.

Hearing gun fire from the hole, Charlie knew Rissa had found the robbers. "s**t!" Charlie thought as she whipped her head around, looking for something she could use...

There. In three steps, Charlie ran over to the teller booth and wrenched one of the doors loose; two solid kicks to the hinges and she had a four inch thick piece of wood to use as a shield. Back at the hole, Charlie used her belt to strap the door/shield to her back and slid down the ladder. "Rissa! Here!" Carefully, Charlie moved the door in front of her, crouched behind it, and walked to Rissa. Charlie set the door down in front of the two of them, cocked her gun and looked at Rissa. "You get the one on the left, I'll get the one on the right. Three...two...one....NOW!" Charlie yelled as the two women popped up and shot their respective robbers, before turning their guns on the remaining man. "Don't be stupid. The other guys left you behind for the cops to find. If we don't kill you, they will. Show us where they're going. Look, we can cut you a deal, reduce your jail time a little if you show us where the rest of the team is going. We'll limit the amount of time you'll spend in a tutu pretending to be some massive ape's girlfriend." Charlie kept her gun trained on the robber, certain between herself and Rissa, the robber didn't stand a chance.

Slowly, Charlie reached behind herself to the back of her belt and pulled out her hand cuffs. "Here, we'll cuff you and you can give us directions where to go. We'll have a gun on you at all times. This is for our protection, you understand." With a nod from Rissa, Charlie moved forward, removed the robber's weapon, handed the fire arm to Rissa and cuffed him. "Now, where are we going?"
