all lions have a set 'life' score but you can up it by completing official fights with others. meaning that there is a judge and everything is done on a points system. 4 fights equals 1 extra point for your life score. so for example
lion 1 and lion 2 have a total 100 life points but lion 1 has been practicing and having official fights, 8 to be exact he has 102 life points while lion 2, who has not had official fights remains with 100 points.
i might change it to 2 = 1 but not sure >.>
so what do you all think?

Ah so when they sparred would it be a random number that would take away from their life points? (I'd assume 1-10 or something like that... because obviously it makes no sense for someone to deal 99 damage in a fairly balanced fight XD)

yeah im figuring that the rng would be the best way to figure that out... in fact im going to try an experiment. leth if you would be so kind would you post with the random number generator on set to 1 thru 10 while i do 1 thru 100 to see exactly what the generator comes up with.... i have a feeling ill end up doing 1 thru 10 XD

i was in no hurry leth ^^ but these three different 'rolls' did tell me what i was looking for. you are right it needs to be 1 thru 10 or 1 - 10 sided die if the 'life points' of the fighters is set at 100.
but a different thought occurred to me last night...
i watched the new karate kid and in their tournament scene it is best of three points. what if our tournament is the same in the sense that each player rolls 4 - 4 sided dice on the first post, the fight will then be rped out. The higher number gets the hit but if the same number occurs the 'attack' either missed or was blocked. the 'blocked' point would be rolled again in the post where the rped 'block' occurs ... so for instance
p1's # are 1 - 4 - 4 - 3 and p2's # are 3 - 2 - 2 - 3 the fight would be something like...
p2's point - p1's point - p1's point - 'block'
this should alow each 'fight' to be 10 posts between the fighters, baring any 'block' rolls.
uggg this should be simple and likely is simple and im just making it complicated >.>

Practice bouts info was added under pride traditions and practices
&
A new adult position was added; Elder. Its a place for the really old and or seriously injured in the pride.
