Blowing away the flames revealed some of the scene his physical eyes would be seeing. There was blood coming from between Liliana's legs as she lay on the ground before him. Her tears of pain mixed with the dirt and blood beneath her. Not everything is a trick, my dear Cain. There is truth in everything.

Cain focused his mind and watched as his cloth materialized around his arm. He creates his cloth spear.
"You forget that this is MY mind too! Now come on!!!!"

Screeching, Darkness shifted one last time. but no scene accompanied it. She stood on the darkening landscape of Cain's mind, a reversed Liliana in all her power and rage. "I still hold control here," she snapped, Liliana's Elemental staff coming into her hands. "I tried to be nice. I tried to make this easy on you. Now I'll ******** destroy you and take the shell you leave behind!"

Dark Liliana easily sidestepped the attack, touching Cain so a blanket of fog would cover his eyes. It was the mind fold of a seer, depriving him of sight. "Blind your eyes from my glory, for you are not worthy to look upon it."

Cain focused his mind as the fog surrounded him. He summons a wind that blows away the fog. He holds his cloth spear tight as he looks straight at the darkness.
"You dare insult me by becoming the woman I love, I WILL DESTROY YOU!!!"
-he rushes at her again and lets out a flurry of thrusts with his spear at the darkness.

"I am the woman you love. I always will be a part of her no matter what you do or where I end up!" The staff in her hands connected straight with his jaw. "Hold your tongue before me, for you have no right to speak again." She aimed a kick for his stomach to bring him down to his knees.

Cain took the hits as he laugh, thrusting back and stabbing the spear into the dark Lili's chest.
"Aslong as you are in that form, then nothing you say or do can hurt me. You may have belonged to Lili back then, but YOU ARE IN MY BODY!!! YOU BELONG TO ME AND YOU WILL LISTEN TO ME!!!!!"
He pounces onto the dark figure and pins her down at the floor, throwing a flurry of punches at her.

The Darkness screamed but not from the blows Cain was giving her. Her eyes were fixed on something behind him. An old lullaby, the one she had in a dusty old orb from long ago, started to play in this mindscape as a shining light appeared behind Cain. The Darkness melted from under him and latched onto him, coating his body to move it as she willed. Turning him around, Cain would be able to see a shining angel floating there. She looked like Liliana but her skin was more of pale wine than fine chocolate. "Come now, Azura. You've tormented this child long enough," the angel's voice said softly, its comforting sound resonating through the place.

"Well...Azura, looks like you are defeated...NOW SUBMIT!!!!"
Cain began to suck the darkness into him as Azura continued to scream. Slowly and slowly, he began to regain his mind until the darkness disapeared into his eye. He panted a bit, then wiped the sweat from his brow. He looked at the woman.
"Well, I guess since I took on Lili's darkness back then, I got some of her light too, am I right?"

"To every Darkness there is a Light and every Light has a Darkness," the angel said. "You're test is not yet over, Cain." As she held out her hand, flames erupted between them. The Darkness raged inside of Cain, staining his mark from Liliana black against his hand. A brand from the Darkness. "How do you measure a man, dear Cain?" Below the angel, the real Liliana appeared again, the small pool of blood larger beneath her now. ((These flames can't be blown away.))

Cain was right, but before he could speak, the flames erupted around him. He writhed in pain, but withstood it. He answered the angel's question.
"A man is not a man unless he shows true spirit and dedication, especially to the ones he cares for and the one he loves. Thats what makes a man."

"Then show your love the man you are." The angel vanished but the flames remained. Liliana still laid in her own blood. (Making it through the flames and reaching the mental Liliana will take you out of the mindscape and back to reality, completing your test)

Cain braced himself and thought of only Lili. He then roared as he rushed through the flames. His body was burned and partially scorched, but he pressed on, until he returned to reality.
