"Oh come on now, no need to hide your feelings." JK winked slyly at the other boy. Not really wanting to start another flail-and-weep fest, he just left it there and moved to the window to watch what Shin was watching. He couldn't see anything, but he did notice the koi in the pond suddenly veer off toward the gazebo, and a few tiny objects hitting the water. He wanted to bet that it was his mother feeding the fish; she like him would be sure to find them a novelty.

JK couldn't help but laugh out loud at the other's response to his joke. Now he had no choice but to keep it going. "Put me in your closet? Sounds sexy. Now I can choose to be either a man toy that only comes out at your whim or a bad doggie who can piss in all of your shoes!"

JK almost choked on his own tongue at Shin's response; did he even know what he just said?? "So does that mean you'd rather be the man toy? Awwww!" He laughed as he held up his arm in defense as the pillow came winging toward him, smacking his arm and bouncing to the ground. Quick as a wink, he dropped down into a crouch, took up the pillow with both hands and pretended to shake it back and forth in his mouth like a puppy (though he only had it UP to his mouth and not actually in it). "Rrrrr! Tasty!"

JK laughed even harder as he raised his head to show Shin that he hadn't slobbered all over his precious pillow, but it seemed to go unnoticed in the other's panic as he grabbed it and tried to wrestle it back. "Hey cool it, Mattel-man, I didn't touch your pillow! Look!" He still held on to it until he was sure that he could show the other that his pillow remained drool-free. Honestly, the kid was more concerned about his pillow than being called a boy toy! What had his father taught him all this time?

"Er...hello? Mattel? The toy company? And you're a........oh nevermind." JK reached up to block the pillow, but this time wasn't fast enough as the pillow was pushed into him, toppling him off balance and causing him to fall on the floor, doubtless with Shin on top of him. "Hey, I'll get you for that one!" He reached up as quickly as he can to try and find Shin's head and wrap his arm around his skinny neck. "Time for a noogie!"

JK cackled like an evil villain as he brought his first down, though only far enough for his knuckles to brush the top of the other's head. "Noogie-noogie-noogie!" He really did have to concentrate on not accidentally choking him as he flailed about. "Wet willies don't mess up hair; want one of those instead?"

"Aww, look at you two!" The gleeful voice cut through JK's laughter like a knife, and he looked up with a startled expression on his face to see his mother looking down at them from the door frame to Shin's bedroom. "Oh goodness; I didn't mean to interrupt your fun; we were just walking back inside, and I heard the commotion. I know you two didn't exactly hit it off over dinner, so I came up here to make sure everything was alright. And here I find you playing together like two good friends!" Her smile took on a slightly stern look as she wagged a finger at JK. "Now Jack, you be nice to Shin and don't give him any wet willies or any of that. We are still the guests here and we are going to treat our hosts with respect." She grinned and waved as she turned to leave. "Now go on and go about your play; remember, just be nice!" She turned and walked cheerfully back down the hall, leaving JK laying there with his face as red as a tomato, and not from the playing.

JK hadn't missed the darker silhouette behind his mother's figure either, though he was sure he was feeling less dread about it than Shin was. He cleared his throat as Mr. Kaneko entered and looked around; at least aside from harmless horseplay, there wasn't really anything to hide. He felt a small jab deep inside of him as he imagined how he would have hidden things from his dad. He recalled one particular time when he had had one of his father's 'spontaneous' conversations; with his mother in the background protesting and all but flailing her arms like a character from Sailor Moon, his father had told him that he would come of an age where he would be......curious, and it was perfectly okay to keep.....certain magazines that fueled that curiosity, but to please keep them out of sight of his parents, EVEN though they knew about them, and ESPECIALLY from any pretty girl he might want to court. Had his father still been around, it would have made JK smile, but the sight of this kind but strict man looking at the pair reminded him that this man might (more than might) have very different views of what ought to be found in a young man's room. He was going to have to be really careful.

At least Shin waited until his dad had gone downstairs before putting his question to him; he probably would have caused a lot more thuds from jumping up and causing his 'brother' to come crashing to the floor instead of laying there and grinning from ear to ear. "I've never been awake to hear myself snoring, but no worries about the other; I'm all for going free-bird. None of that tighty-whitey crap."

JK snorted with laughter and returned the half fist with his own, lightly tapping the other on the shoulder. "Hey, it isn't as though I'll get much sleep picturing YOUR tiny white a** in here with me!" It felt fun to be goofing around, just hinting at macho.....stuff he and his dad used to do before everything....went to Hell. He got quiet then, also noticing the voices downstairs and wondering what they were talking about. Probably already making plans for the wedding, picking colors, choosing cake flavors, destinations.....before-the-big-day activities. The thought of Mr. Kaneko at a bachelor party drew another snort out of JK as he clasped Shin's hand. Kind of weird.....it didn't exactly seem SUPER wrong....maybe having each other there was just what they needed to....cope with stuff.

He was surprisingly touched that Shin offered to help with the packing. Considering the fact that he would have his own hands full getting ready to take stuff out of his own room to make way for JK's.......or it could always be his way of making sure his new 'roomie' didn't actually BRING anything filthy like what he had threatened. Thinking of all the things that he would have to put away...so many memories to go through......didn't exactly make his own voice any less loud. "I think......my Mom would really like that."
