Andrew Caliu. Necromancer.

Once the two arrived, Andrew was very much aware of the fact that he was actually hungry. Not having the chance to eat since breakfast, as his classes where within minutes of each other, he was rather happy to be at the resturaunt. Sitting down as Rina did so, he smiled as thier server appeared. The teenager motioned to the princess to go first, as he personally still wasn't sure of what he was going to get.

Following Andrew into the building, she seats herself at the first spot available where they would both fit. Hooking the strap of her purse around on knee, she places the bulky object under the table and out of the way before turning her attention to her food options. As the server approached, the Sylph hurried to make up her mind. "I'll have miso ramen with extra garlic." she assumed that without making a list of what she wanted, they'd just do the usual; if she didn't like something, she'd simply pick it out and remember for next time. Glancing at Andrew now, it seems that his short reprieve was over, and he would have to decide.

Glancing over the menu once more, Andrew was forced to decide quicker than he'd anticipated. He was used to having two sisters who took plenty of time to evaluate each option before ordering, and in turn gave him an excess of time. Looking to the waiter, he answered with what just happened to be the last order he's had at this place. "Shio please. And water to drink." Turning back to Rina as the server left, the teenager noted lightly, "I don't think they serve strawberry cake here. Shame, but we could definitely hunt for it some time."

Smiling in amusement at his order, she raised one eyebrow. "Afraid to try something new?" she teased, not at all serious. He could order whatever he wanted, it didn't bother her; she just felt like joking around. At the mention of strawberry cake, and how they didn't have it, she frowned. "It is a shame. Strawberry cake is delicious. We definitely need to find some." pleased that another time out had been inferred, especially one that involved cake, her cheery expression remained in place.

After a small chuckle, Andrew spoke with resigned admittance, "Change can be good, but I say if it isn't broken, why fix it?" Becoming more comfortable in this setting, he was able to continue speaking lightly and with a positive air. "Hm, but I haven't seen much strawberry cake since I've started at Reed's." Leaning on his right hand, the teenager picked up a hypothetical tone once more, something that was obviously becoming habit. "Perhaps someone would know where to begin looking?"

Laughing quietly at his statement, Rina chooses not to argue with that; he had a point, and it seemed like a pointless thing to partake in. Smiling faintly as the hypothetical banter, she mimicked his tone. "Perhaps." she shrugged casually, leaning back in her chair and crossing her arms. Her faint smile edged towards a smirk as their little game picked up; she genuinely enjoyed these conversations with Andrew. "If someone were to suggest a place to start, they might suggest the city." she phrased it almost like a question, as if unsure of this fact. After all, it wasn't supposed to be a definite.

His smile becoming a slight smirk, nodded as if in curious thought. "Ah, the city...Luckily I know how to get there." he mused, crossing his arms atop the table in the process. Quite honestly, Andrew enjoyed the light and joking atmoshpere of the conversations that occured between he and Rina, as well as the interesting, and sometimes surprising, things that the princess spoke of. "Perhaps you know of someone who has come across such a place?"

Her smile broadened as he kept up the game, and she paused a moment, as if in thought. "Now that you mention it, I just might." she finally admitted, leaning forward to place one elbow on the table and rest her cheek in her cupped hand. "That person may or may not suggest a bakery of sorts. One that may or may not be on Third Street." she continued, suggesting a spot she had found on one of her first days here.

Doing his best to keep a straight face, he nodded once more to comprehend this new information. "That is definitely good to know. I would be grateful if you could contact this person for me."

Considering this a moment, she nods. "I'll see what I can do. She isn't very forthcoming with information, though. Just a warning." she smiled, leaning away from the table as the waiter set down their bowls and glasses. Her smile became one of mischief, as if in on a great secret that she wasn't quite ready to share. "It might be easier if she had some sort of... incentive." she suggested, raising an eyebrow conspiratorially.

Letting the facade fall back as their food was served, Andrew allowed himself to flash a quick smile before breaking apart his chopsticks. "Hm, some sort of garuntee?" he asked aloud, keeping up with game. Stirring his noodles, he thought for a moment; but was rashly interrupted by the familiar jingle of his cell phone. It seemed to him that people enjoyed calling when he was with her. Pulling it out of his pocket, he sighed, knowing it was a number that couldn't be ignored. Put his hand up in an apology, he scooted his chair back a bit as well as turned around; something that wouldn't help privacy so much but was more of an automatic act of politeness. "Yes Amelia, I'm here. No, I'm not mad and yes. Yes, of course." Slipping the phone back into his pocket, he returned to his spot, and idea forming in his thoughtful tone, "I might have found something she would like."

Breaking apart her chopsticks, Rina stirred her food thoughtfully. "I suppose you could say that." she conceded, raising an eyebrow in question as his phone rang. It must have been important if he had to answer it, even on a date; he didn't seem the type to just answer his phone while on a date without reason, and so she didn't comment. Testing her food, she could really taste the garlic, and smiled, pleased with her meal. As he turned back to face her, she raised an eyebrow in question, as if to inquire if everything was alright. At his statement, however, her expression changed to one of amusement. "Really now?" she asks, stirring her meal again. "Now what might that be?"

Stirring his own noodles, he nodded, as if trying to find the right words for an important proposal of an idea. "Yes. Although your input would help me to decide if it was worth asking this lady." Taking a bite of his food, Andrew chewed thoughtfully, swallowed and cleared his throat with water before speaking again. "I have a niece, and I'd heard a rumor that she enjoyed time with children. Since I'll be stuck with babysitting duty tonight-" he tapped his pocket to imply the phone call he's just recieved, "I thought she might like to meet the lovely girl."

Listening in interest, Rina lifted more noodles to her mouth to continue eating. Chewing thoughtfully, she nearly dropped her chopsticks in her excitement at the suggestion. "Really?" she asks, her face lighting up; she loved children, and she was sure that any niece of Andrew's would be adorable. Remembering their game, she immediately tried to reign in her expression. "I mean, I suppose I could ask her." she did her best to shrug and look nonchalant, though she failed miserably. Restraining a smile, she instead decides to place more food in her mouth to keep from breaking the banter again.

Flat out chuckling, Andrew was extremely please with Rina's reaction, and he too was having trouble regaining any composure. Simply eating to quiet his laughter, he let her pick up the air of their conversation again. And truly, he was looking forward to the rest of the day if the slyph was alongside Focusing on speaking with the 'what if' terms again, the teenager cleared his throat, stating, "But it would be such a hassel to bother her...perhaps you should come along instead?"
