Stephan, bit back a snarl and let go of Elliot roughly, glaring at him, then looking down at Akemi with a bit of betrayal. Trevor was ready to hold back Stephan if he tried to do anything, but Stephan just turned away from thr little group, sitting down in a chair and proping his chin up on one hand, his other layed on the table lifelessly as he stared at the wall across the room, a frustrated expression had taken over his face. Trevor watched Stephan walk off, then glanced back at Elliot with a look of disdain and then sat back down in between Diana and Stacy, whom were both still asleep.

Then, a girl around the same age as Trevor came out of one of the rooms, spotting Stephan and smiling, walking over to him and sitting next to him, "Hello, Stephan. How are you today?" she asked, tilting her head to the side. Her bright red hair fell over her shoulders, hiding all the bruises and scars on her neck and shoulders, only leaving the large mark on her cheek, the few scratches on her cheeks and her eye bangaging veiwable. Stephan looked at the girl, his eyes only getting sadder at the sight of the girl, "I'm alright, how are you Kylie? Did you have nightmares again last night?" he asked, sitting up straight in his chair.

[Kylie's mixed with a tiger, but she was kind of a failure because she's not as fierce or strong as a tiger, she only got the balance and senses of a tiger; She's 21. ^^]

"Mmm, no not that I can re-" Kylie began, but she was cut off by Akemi's shout, and she jumped, looking over at him in Elliot's arms. Stephan stood up abruptly the moment that he heard Akemi struggling, and then he was in front of Elliot, pulling Akemi away with ease, "Who's better now?" he smirked at Elliot, then looking down at Akemi, placing a hand on his cheek carefully, wiping away tears with his thumbs, "Are you alright, Akemi?" he asked, carresing his face with both hands. Normally he wouldn't be this friendly with Akemi because he always thought he was such a shy boy and that he wouldn't possibly likie him, but he wanted to rub how close he could get with Akemi in Elliot's face.

Kylie's eyes narrowed as she glared at Akemi. He always intterupted whenever she was with Stephan, whenever she wanted to get close rto Stephan or even just talk Akemi managed to steal Stephan's attention away from her. Her black and orange striped ears flattened and her thick tail flickered with irritation.

Stephan frowned as Elliot tried to pull Akemi away, and he cleared his throat, "You, uh, maybe the only scientist to enter the white circle, but that doesn't mean you can do whatever you want to us inside of it. That's still a rule, that I'm enforcing right now, and if you break it, I'll break you." he said, prying Elliot's fingers from around Akemi's arms and pushed Akemi behind him gently, blocking him from Elliot as he towered over the man, "Besides, the only reason you're special is because you're a failure. And I don't think that's anything for you to be gloating about." he said, hiding a smirk with a blank face.

Kylie's ears perked up for a moment at Stephan's comment about being a failure towards Elliot and then her ears fell, her face falling to a frown as she looked down at the table, her hands folded in her lap.

Stephan looked at Elliot with a confused expression, then he looked at Kylie and instantly felt bad for saying what he said, "Dammit." he breathed under his breath, glaring at Elliot, "Do you honestly think that this'll work out smoothly for you just because you have a small bit of control over us? Because at the snap of a finger that can change." he said through clenched teeth.

Kylie looked over at Elliot, then at Stephan and Akemi, her eyes stinging as she held back tears. She hated how Akemi could get so close to Stephan so easily, without even trying, and she was always off to the side, and have to try hard just to get Stephan to even look at her. She glared at Elliot as he brought up Stephan's comment about failures and thought, 'I know what he ment, and I'm nothing like you. Don't try to use me to hurt Stephan, you creep.' and her small hands balled up into fists as she watched Stephan curse under his breath, feeling like she'd hindered Stephan just by being here. She bit her lip, but gently because her teeth were sharp and if she bit too hard she'd bleed, as she listened silently.

Stephan glared after Elliot as he left, then, when he was out of sight, he looked over at Kylie, walking over to her, "Kylie, I... I didn't mean anything towards yo-" "Oh, it's alright, I know you weren't indenting for that to backfire. I'm fine though, so don't worry about lil' ol' me." she smiled, though it took quite a bit of effort. Stephan frowned, "Are you sure?" he asked, and Kylie nodded. Slowly, Stephan stood up and walked back over to Akemi, "Are you alright? He didn't do any mental or more physical damage did he?" he asked softly, sitting down and gesturing to the chair next to him for Akemi to sit down in.

Kylie looked away and hid her face from Stephan and Akemi, and flinched when another scientist came and called her name. This scientist was different from the others though. He only called for Kylie, and he was always her scientist, she never had another scientist call her name other than him, and she didn't like when he called her name. The peculiar thing though, was that he only called her whenever the other scientists were either on break or where taking the day off. She slowly walked over to him, stopping just outside of his reach, "Y-yes...?" she asked timidly, her hands were folded together in front of her and she was looking down at the floor. The man didn't say anything as he gently grabbed Kylie's arm and pulled her past the door, shutting it behind them silently.

Stephan looked at Akemi for a long while after he spoke, then shook his head, "Well, maybe if he weren't such a jerk and didn't act like he owns everything in the world, he wouldn't be so lonely, so I'm not going to pity him at all." he said, folding his arms and leaning back in his chair.

At this point Trevor had moved Stacy and Diana into their rooms and had made his way into his own room, leaving Stephan and Akemi alone for now. Sighing, Stephan leaned forward and let his elbows prop up on his knees, "Akemi... have you ever... I dunno'... have you... ah, forget it nevermind." he said, shaking his head and looking down at the floor.

Stephan raised his eyebrows, "Oh? I'll finish my sentence when you finish your's." he smirked, leaning forward towards Akemi when he saw his blush, "Are you afraid of thunder and lightening?" he asked, raising his eyebrows curiously. He'd never been afraid of much as a kid, so he was kind of thos type of guys who didn't get scared of anything, and he was kind of curious as to what it was like to be scared of something like thunder and lightening.

Stephan brought his legs up into the chair, criss crossing them in his seat as he looked at Akemi, "And if he's so 'nice', how come I've never heard about a scientist being nice to the others or seen him be nice? So far I've only seen him be a complete jerk and quite a bit pushy and bossy." he said, truely curious now as to how Akemi saw Elliot compared to him.
