So, she had been right. There was a core group in permanent residence. It only made sense. Anything other could not possibly be strong enough to survive. After all, virtual strangers could not trust each other well enough to maintain a proper pack, even if they did have warrior allies to help them. But enough philosophy. Much richer scents were reaching her, now. Stronger. Fresher. “We are on your territory, now?” Time to meet the natives and learn their stories.

He nodded. "Yes. There," he nodded vaguely through the bushes, "Is my grandmother Chivosi's den. She's the alpha here. You should stop in and say hello. She'll direct you to a place you can rest."
His tail gave a wag. Another lost bird, come to nest.

Senka took note of the den, though Balios’s obvious pleasure at showing her around certainly provided her with a helping of amusement. She would have had great fun at his expense if she had known what he was thinking, but thankfully for him, she was no mind-reader.
“Very well,” she said instead. “Thank you for bringing me here. I am certain we will run into each other again.” With that, Senka went off to explore her temporary home, wondering what delicious stories awaited her here.
