She paused briefly, hand hovering over FooFoo in mid-pat at the mention of 'Mac'; ah right, she had almost forgotten that the two knew each other... Well, most of her friends knew each other; even if they weren't close, they at least knew each other by name. She liked it that way even if it got... Inconvenient at times.
"Well, he does seem to like his hat a lot," She managed a smile as she nodded. There was a sort of fondness in her voice, but it was difficult to mask the slight hurt that was present as well, "This club-in-spirit has two good presidents~"

Did Lizzy falter? Ever so slightly? Mot may not have noticed if his hat was on, but it was off, and his vision was clear. Mot wasn't really sure how close Mac and Lizzy where. To be honest, he'd only run into Mac a couple times. Though he did mention to be wary of pink haired demons. Maybe they weren't on the best of terms? But she sounded somewhat fond of him.
Oh well~!
Mot smiled, nodding his head. "Good, yeah, but I'm the best president~." He teased, pointing at himself with a mischievous look in his eye. "Only not really. Its just a pretend club." FooFoo laid himself down on Lizzy's lap, not letting her go anytime soon, it seemed. the ball of fur was way too comfortable.
He kind of wanted to know about Lizzy's little falter, but at the same time, he didn't want her to be sad. He'd save it for another time. Or perhaps when it was more obvious she was hurting. If she needed a friend's shoulder, he'd be there.

"I'm sure you are! I don't doubt it~" She chuckled softly before smiling, trying to get rid of that odd feeling on her chest. He didn't mean to mention Mac, but now that he had, it was difficult not to think about the boil, "Well, pretend or not, you do make hats look more appealing! If it's a real club, I'm sure more students will wear hats to class~"
She was alright with FooFoo being comfy on her lap; the Foxfire was warm (and fluffy), which in turn kept her lap warm... Hehe, lap warmer.

Mot waved a hand, a cheesy smile on his face. "I'm much too unmotivated to run a club. Invisi-club is best for me." He could be in clubs, but never start them. Too much work. "Buuut... If everyone started wearing hats, I might not feel as special." Mot pointed out with a pout. "Sure, mine is the coolest, but still~." Oh so biased. Mot ruffled the fur under the Foxfire's chin, glancing up at Lizzy. Something still seemed off. Slightly. She was usually much more peppy. He didn't mind if she wasn't, buuut...
He cocked his head and regarded her a little bit longer, his brows furrowed in thought. "You seem lost." He added finally.

"You'll always be special, Mot," She nodded with a smile, blushing a little as her hand left FooFoo to pat him on his head when he came to fuss over the minipet, "Hat or no hat."
His observation caught her off guard, and for a moment, she kept quiet; she didn't want to tell anyone about Mac. She liked the boil, and didn't want anyone to think badly of him; it's why she had kept what happened between them... Well, between them.
"Just a general question," She looked up, tilting her head, "Do boils usually go around kissing ghouls they don't feel attracted to?" Yes, an embarrassing question, but she did not know who else to ask!

Special, huh? Mot glanced up, still hunched over the minipet and smirked a little, although slightly less smug about it and more shy than usual. He was so un-used to not having a hat to hide in.
He allowed her to fall silent. Whatever made her more comfortable really. He raised his brows as she asked a question. An odd question. "None that I know of. I imagine that is something you'd do with someone you liked, or at least were attracted to." Perhaps that was just him speaking as a gentlemen, but anyone who went around kissing ghouls for no reason must have a few screws loose.

"Really?" It wasn't that she doubted Mot's answer; she just wanted to double check. She didn't know how boils work; before her enrollment in Amity, they were pretty much a mystery to her. Even now, there were things about them that baffled her. She paused, her hand still busy with fussing over FooFoo even as she was deep in thought.
"Hm... Would you kiss a ghoul you consider a good friend?" She frowned slightly, tilting her head, "Even if you don't feel attracted to her in that way?"

Mot nodded simply as she questioned his answer. Yes, really. Though it was just his opinion on the matter.
This line of questioning seemed specific. Was it Mac related or something else? Either way, Mot wanted to help! He paused momentarily, his eyes gazing down before back up again. "No." He answered honestly. "I wouldn't, anyway. A good friend is a good friend." He thought a moment again, a contemplative look on his face. He was shy about intimate things to begin with. Doing such things with a friend seemed... hard.

"Mmm, I see..." She replied softly, looking down at the Foxfire on her lap as she played with its ears, rubbing them gently before looking up, smiling at Mot, "That's good to know! I was curious~" She wasn't sure how much of it applied to other boils since Mot was a gentleman, but his words... Were somehow reassuring.
Maybe a small, small part of her wished it applied to someone else.

"Dare I ask what this is about?" Mot asked, giving her a comforting smile. She seemed somewhat okay with the answers he had given. That was fine. Mot just wanted to be sure the ghoul was okay. She was a nice person, and if anything happened to her that he should know about, he'd like to hear it.

"You dare! You just asked!" She pointed out with a soft chuckle before shaking her head, giving the boil a smile, "It's a secret~ But as you can probably guess, it's about uh, a kiss... Not that big a deal, really, but still, it's a secret."
Okay, so maybe she wasn't being entirely truthful. It was - is - a big deal for her.
Removing FooFoo from her lap, she gently placed the minipet on the floor, patting it gently on its head before standing up, dusting off her dress. Walking over to Mot, she wrapped her arms around him to give him a hug (although it was more for her own comfort, really), laying her head on his chest as she closed her eyes.
"Maybe kisses just aren't as important to a boil as it is to a ghoul?"

Mot chuckled in return. Tu chez, Lizzy!
"Well, alright then." Mot relented, nodding. If it was a secret it was a secret. No big deal.
When Lizzy stood up, he did the same, though surprisingly caught off guard by a sudden hug, which he of course returned, wrapping his arms around the small ghoul's shoulders. "Maybe... I hate to say it, but I'm not an expert at the subject." He flirted, a lot, but as for actual experience, the reaper was all talk. "But it is important to you. I'd like to think the boil in question would know that too."

"You're not? It's hard to tell!" She managed a giggle before looking up, smiling at the boil, "Again, I'm surprised a ghoul didn't ask you out for prom before I did~ You'll make for a good partner!" She was confident of that much, although she was pretty sure he'll make for more than a 'good partner' outside of prom too.
"Hey, who said this was about me?" She pouted, although yes, Mot had guessed right... She was talking about herself. She paused before nodding, looking down again as she leaned against the reaper, "But that's good advice, yes..."

Mot smirked playfully, "Oh good. My facade is working then~." He laughed. Yes, he did so love to make it look like he was the all knowing cowboil of sins. It was just fun that way. "Well, I am still kind of new here. I have yet to make the rounds." He said in regards to no one asking for a date. He never asked either, after all! "I've met a handful of people so far."
Mot smirked again. Yes Lizzy, it was rather obvious it was about you. At least she didn't try to go as far as using the 'My friend has a problem' excuse.
Lizzy seemed to need the hug, and he wasn't a boil to push away a friend in need, so he held her as long as she needed it. "I'm glad I helped, or I hope at least a little anyway. What are friends for, right?"

"You need no facade," She nodded, finally releasing him from the hug as she smiled, taking a step back, "You're a great guy and I didn't even need to dig deep to see that!" Unlike some certain other person, "And I'm lucky to have met you before prom started then~"
Her smile grew at his words, and she gave a nod before looking out the window, and then back at Mot again, "Hmmm, time sure pass by quickly... I should head back..." Despite how confused she felt, there was still a prom to look forward to!
