She looked deflated, her shoulders sagging, a frown thick on her face as she was lead along. She was worried about said punishment. A heavy sigh escaping her as Paris tried to explain to Istas what she'd done wrong.
She knew very well she shouldn't be beating around on younger kids.. but sometimes she didn't think things out before she did them. Istas was trying her best, but it was a losing battle. If anything she might irritate Paris even more without meaning it.
"Why you not go find Coralie, Istas?" She sighed again dramatically. Aitana didn't necessarily want to be snitched on.. but at the same time if she was about to be locked away in a tower or something it was best that her friend know. "She should be at the cabin. Oleander."

They were a few yards away from the senior cabin when Paris stopped as the little girl had suggested and just... considered things for a little bit. The kids should definitely be punished, no doubt about that. He couldn't just let them fight and break the rules and get away with it, otherwise he wouldn't be doing his job and then he'd get in trouble. What kind of an example would that set for the other kids? But he didn't want them to resent him, and he didn't want to suddenly become unpopular with them over something like this, either. It would suck if the other kids stopped listening to him because of something like this.
Sure, punching one another and shoving one another under water and threatening to kill someone was a pretty serious thing, but they were just kids. Kids did that sort of stuff all the time. If he told Chris about it, they'd probably be worse off than if he took care of it himself, if only because Chris was a lot stricter and a bit of a stickler for rules.
Paris glanced down at Istas as he answered her question. "I'd probably beat the crap out of him, too," he relented. That wasn't condoning it, was it? Just admitting that he could be just as bad at jumping to action before thinking things through under certain circumstances.
He sighed and loosened his hold on Aitana since she was no longer struggling, though he continued holding onto the boy's arm seeing as he had apparently started the whole thing. "Alright, how about this? You two," he said to the pair of trouble makers, "go back to your cabins and sit out of activities for a day, and I'll tell the senior counselors that I caught you fighting but that I already took care of it," he suggested. He thought it was pretty fair, if not a little lenient, but it was the first time he'd caught them misbehaving...

Billy didn't look impressed, "Can you at least get me something for my nose?" He asked not willing to go without having medical aid first. "Otherwise fine, I'll go sit in time out." That didn't sound like a big deal to him. Hopefully Istas thought that he'd not pick on anyone else for a little while.
Istas smiled as Paris stopped to think, it did work. She nodded at Aitana though, the girl was right they'd have to find Allie.
But when Paris said the two of the trouble makers where to stay in their cabin the rest of the day she practically tackled him in a hug. "Thank you, I'm sure she's learned her lesson!" She looked at Aitana brightly, "Right?" She wasn't going to include Billy, despite hopes he had, she didn't really think he was capable of learning until someone made a direct point which is what Lissy had been talking about.

No more activities for the day.. Ughhhh. It certainly was a punishment for the brazilian girl. She had things she'd planned to do today and energy to burn in the sun and fresh air! But it wasn't an entire camp experience destroyed like she had been warned. So she realized it was fair.. beyond fair perhaps even?
"Time out..... okay fine..." She groaned but didn't fight it. She was grateful. Unhappy but grateful, so Istas could do all the hugging and appreciation giving.
She wondered if Jennifer would give her a hard time when she was told about it. Oh well.
If she hadn't learned her lesson by now, then it would certainly learned by this evening. If she didn't die of boredom first.

Paris let the little girl hug him, smiling just a tiny bit. Good decision then, even if the other two didn't seem all that enthusiastic about it. Well, he was sure they both realized they'd gotten off easy, so he wasn't going to worry too much.
"Next time someone gives you a hard time, just come tell me about it so your friends don't end up getting in trouble, too," he told her. He probably wasn't the most reliable person here at camp, but he had people to impress, so he'd do what he had to.
His smile held out until he looked back at the boy, frowning at his bloody nose. "I think you're old enough to clean up a bloody nose yourself, but come with me to the mess hall and we'll find some ice for it to keep the swelling down," he said, waiting for Istas to let go of him before leading Billy in that direction, looking back at the other two as he went. "Don't let me catch you guys in trouble again! I can't promise things'll be as easy on you next time!"

Istas let go after a little bit. They all might not have been happy about it but it was so much better than being ban from all actives. "Lets go find Allie." She said with a smile at Aitana, "Then we can find something that doesn't involve breaking your time out." The last part was whispered and she waved at Paris walked away with Billy.
"OKAY! WE'LL BE GOOD I PROMISE!" With that the younger girl was now trying to drag Aitana to her cabin.
Billy looked at Paris, "Yeah right, but how do I know if it's broken?" He stared at the girl unhappily, ice would be better than nothing. But he still wanted to know if it was broke. "Isn't there a medic anywhere around here at all?"

Really Aitana was getting off super easy compared to Paris! Didn't have to listen to Billy anymore.. just had to sulk and be bored for a little while.
She let the little girl lead her along, mulling over the best way to break the news to her bunkmates.
Istas' whisper brought an amused grin momentarily to her face though. Maybe.. maybe if things got too boring she might try. But for now she was planning on being good!
