Freak, who'd slid back into the ring, and began to get up after Byers blindsided Landry, walks right into the path of a big boot! He see's the large figure of Harli coming at him, all he can try to do is get his hands up to block, but that doesn't do much for him! The move sends him down to the mat!
He hits the ground rolling, sporting a bit of a headache! And at this moment, the ref really has his hands full. Landry had just been hit with a low blow, and Harli had just booted Freak, who was using his momentum, intentional or not, to try getting to the safe corner for a tag..

Landry, given a brief reprive, takes advantage of the situation and crawls to the ropes, trying to tag Harli in once he got back into position.

Byers tries to break up the tag by curbstomping Landry's spine. Curbstomps make everything better, no exceptions.

Freakshow lays down on the apron on the friendly side of the ring.. Clenching and opening his eyes, trying to alleviate the pain from the big boot. He grabs onto the middle rope in preparation to pull back up to his feet, but it was just that, preparation, he felt he needed a bit more rest..

Byers, who has evidently been studying some technical wrestling, tries to put Landry in one of his old favorites, the Boston crab.

"Are you blind? Ref! Check if he's tapping!" Freak shouts from the corner, his voice hoarse, now on his knees, leaning into the ropes. "I think he's tapping! Look!" He points, before turning back to a small smattering of fans chanting for Landry "Quiet!"

Could this match be going any better for Byers? Mike Landry's injured, he's in a submission hold, and it's only a matter of time before he taps out. Jason, not wanting to take an unnecessary risk here, tries to get more elevation on the hold and more torque.

Landry's back was bent into unnatural angles by Byers. His only hope was a rope break, but he couldn't reach out far enough to grab it. He had to try for a new tactic. Landry tried to slide back between his opponent's legs, and if he was successful he would reach up and try to grab onto Jason's head so he could pull him down into a small package.

Landry was unable to capitalize after the pin as bending like that and supporting his entire body weight in his lower back to get the pin attempt took a huge toll on his back. He was able to get to his hands and knees so he could try and crawl to his partner, though now he was even farther than before.

"Jason! Watch out-!" Freak watches on in horror as his partners rolled up, "No! No! Kick out! YES!" He slumps back in relief, visibly calming down a bit, that is, until he see's Landry crawling towards the other side of the ring. "Hey! Over there! Get him!"
