{Janex .:. Lost Forest .:. Forest Temple}
Okay, that pissed her off. Being called a dog was completely inexcusable, and if she had been able to fight the spells, Janex would have exacted retribution right then and there. As it was, she simply fought harder against the spell, even as she felt her health and her magic draining.
And "friends?" Seriously? All anyone had ever done was betray her. There were no such thing as friends, only people who used you to get what they wanted. That's all a friend was, a leach, a parasite.
~:You have got to be kidding,:~ Dark Shiva snarled, completely disgusted at the turn of events. ~:You're even more useless than your original. At least she had some willpower in her.:~
"Oh, shut up."

[Dusk : Lost Forest : Forest Shrine]
Dusk ignored Janex's comment as she continued her dances. She had to admit, though it was enjoyable to crush the weak girl in such a way, Dusk was hoping for more of a fight from her. Oh well, she was just one less insect in her way. She would just take fun in slowly torturing her.

{Janex .:. Lost Woods .:. Forest Temple}
Janex wracked her brain for some way to lift the spells Dusk had cast, even as she felt her strength being sapped. Some spells she knew were permanent, but others could either wear off or be canceled. Her memories from before she was Replicated, from even before the Worlds were merged held some knowledge of the spells used in Final Fantasy, but she couldn't for the life of her think if anything being used right now had a duration or how to counter it, other than having an ally use either a negating spell or item to cancel the effects.
Fat chance of that happening.
((You'd better trip soon, brat ><))

[Dusk : Lost Forest : Forest Shrine]
Dusk's feet continued to move swiftly over the ground as the dances continued to drain Janex. As she was focused on her spells, she lost track of her own footing and stumbled on the dances. The effect of the charm and the drains were removed from Janex. Meanwhile, Dusk was left trying to keep herself from falling, unable to block any incoming attacks that Janex might deliver.

"Oh me oh my. Look what we have here. Just wandering about when I hear a rap-a-tap-tap on my earth and when I go to see what it is, I have two foolish women fiddling about like idiots. Very unbecoming ladies." A voice called out in a tone filled with reproach. Soon enough the body belonging to the voice came out of the woods and looked upon them with disgust.
"Really, if you wanted to play with each other, couldn't you have chosen a better place? I can help you find it if you want. A couple thousand feet under the earth should be good." He said with a smile and a light wave of his hand. A hole opened up between the two, leading down far into the earth.

{Janex .:. Lost Forest .:. Forest Temple >> Underground}
As soon as the spells wore off, Janex shoved away from the tree she had been leaning against, shaking her head violently as she did so. There were still some lingering traces of the Charm spell, but they were easily fought off now that the dance was no longer renewing it. As soon as she could think clearly again, the Dark Archer spun on her heel to fire a few shots at Dusk. The dancer was close enough to the clearing that Janex had a good shot, and she took it with Frenzied Fire, letting off several arrows before she ducked back behind a different tree.
Then she heard the voice of someone else, someone she didn't know. It was male, and mocking, and she hated it instantly. She would have located and targeted him if the ground hadn't opened beneath her, sending her plummeting. A strangled yelp emerged from Janex's throat as she fell.

[Dusk : Lost Forest : Forest Temple]
After hitting several of Janex's arrow's, the ground under Dusk's feet caved under her due to Valmar. Before she reached the bottom of the pit, Float from from Dusk's Wind Dancer activated. With the wind under her as a solid ground, she jumped high into the air. Landing somewhere several yards away from the original temple. And thanks to the float was able to remain off of the ground, and harder to discover by the newcomer.
'I see someone else has decided to come play,' Dusk thought as she started another one of her Forbidden Dances, this time targeting Valmar, who would also feel the pull of Dusk's charm as she continued to dance

{Valmar : Lost Forest : Forest Shrine : Under the influence}
Baring his teeth, he growled savagely in Dusk's general direction. He couldn't see her, nor feel her anymore, and it was all he could do to just growl. He knew it was his fault for not sealing the hole quickly enough, but really, he was just hoping they would die. Whoops.
While he may not have been able to kill the annoying b***h who was charming him, he could still attack the other one. That was something. With a very forced wave of his hand, spikes appeared all through the tunnel he had opened, looking to kill her. Although, if she managed to avoid them, they could also provide a way to the surface...whereupon she would hopefully stop the stupid whore from dancing, otherwise he would be quite dead.

{Janex .:. Lost Woods .:. Forest Temple}
Once Janex hit the ground, she curled up into a ball, shaking uncontrollably. It was a long fall, one she hadn't been prepared for, and that damned phobia was kicking in. Not even Shiva screaming in the back of her mind to get up and fight did anything to alleviate the panic attack.
She was caught off-guard by the first set of spikes that shot out of the earth. One ripped through the Frost Armor, immediately dispelling it, and left a gash in her side. Instinct took over, and Janex shoved herself out of the way of the spikes until they stopped, covering the wound in her side with one hand. She saw that the spikes made a perfect escape back to the forest floor, and vaulted onto them until she was once again surrounded by trees.
Do I have a potion or anything...? she wondered, taking a moment to step back and assess the situation. Dusk was dancing again, and as Janex felt in her pockets, she saw that the new player was just as enthralled by the dance as Janex herself had been earlier.
"Sunnova b*tch," she muttered, not only at the renewal of that accursed spell, but at the fact that she had nothing to heal herself with. "Fine. I'll just finish this the hard way."
She took her bloody hand from her side once again, summoned the black bow, and fired an arrow upwards into the canopy. In a few moments, Hailstorm would take effect, and the arrow would burst into dozens of sharp icicles. Dusk and Valmar would need to find cover, or risk being impaled. The leaves wouldn't block these razor-sharp projectiles for crap, though the branches might deflect them a bit, and thicker limbs would definitely block a few.

[Dusk : Lost Forest : Forest Temple]
Despite the float, Dusk was forced to jump away to avoid the ice storm that Janex had summoned. The whole forest was being covered by them. Several of them rained down on the wind dancer took cover under one of the thicker trees, though it didn't protect her from everything, it gave her protection from part of the attacks. The situation was starting to annoy her. She had them in her grasp, but now everything was being taken away from her. She could not let that happen. She was not going to lose her freedom this way.
With a low growl she summoned her fans and swept them in the direction of Valmar, she summoned a large twister, that sucked up several shards of ice and some of the debris from the trees as it headed in the direction of Valmar.

{Valmar : Lost Forest : Forest Shrine}
Finally a break in the damn dancing. Freed from the influence of the charm spell, Valmar turned and dashed for a tree, managing to avoid some of the icicles. Not that he was too worried. Even the ones coming from the front were simply caught by the earth around him.
The problem came when he noticed a rather large twister heading his direction, containing debris and ice that would rather hurt. He was wondering how he was going to avoid it when some of the shards sliced into him. Shaking his head he disappeared under the earth before reemerging a fair distance away. If they wanted to play with shards, he could do that too. Placing a hand on the earth, he forced a tube out that shot three boulders high into the air. When high enough, the broke into razor-sharp pieces and rained down, covering a considerable distance. It wasn't really a tool for using on two enemies, but he wanted to be able to move freely. As soon as the rain started, he dashed out, intending to find Dusk's position. It wasn't like the shards could hurt him anyway.

{Janex .:. Lost Woods .:. Forest Temple}
"Hey, that's my trick!" Janex called out as shards of Earth rained down on her like her icicles had previously. She brought up a Mirror Wall and arced it over her head, but not before being sliced by a few of the Earth shards. She had to yank one out of her shoulder as she huddled under her shield of ice, and gasped in pain as the spike was removed.
"F***ing wonderful," she muttered, tossing the shard away. Well, time for some further a**-whooping. Still behind her shield, Janex knelt and placed both hands flush to the forest floor. She was seriously running low on mana, and she wasn't leeching as much energy from her surroundings as she would have liked. Too hot in this forest, not enough idle time to just soak up whatever energy was around her... she needed to finish this fast.
She sent out her Crystal Spires, the jagged ice-stalagmites erupting in a random circular pattern all throughout the forest. Or, at least, within what was apparently their battlefield. With a little concentration, she was able to make the Spires burst into form with one larger spike in the center, and several smaller one protruding around the base of the main one. With any luck, she'd catch one or both of her opponents.

[Dusk : Lost Woods : Forest Temple]
Dusk let out a loud curse as the ice spire came from under her. She got cut by several of the shards before she was able to move away.
"Jerks that hurt!" She shouted as she readied herself for another attack. The man was looking for her while the girl was still out of sight. She had to think of something fast. Something that would hopefully stop them for awhile until she thought of some sort of battle plan.
With her float still in effect she jumped into one of the trees where she started to dance. The effect of the dance was that of silence that would cut the two other replicas of their magic if they weren't strong enough to resist.

{Janex .:. Lost Woods .:. Forest Temple}
"That's kinda the point, b*tch!" Janex yelled back at Dusk, then immediately sought a new location. One of these days she'd learn that letting her temper get the better of her is a bad idea. She dodged behind trees, pressing her back up against them on the opposite side from where she thought Dusk was as she looked for her next source of cover. She eventually found a good enough copse, and crouched in the undergrowth, trying to summon a Mirror Wall.
"Trying" was the operative word. When she couldn't bring up the shield of ice, Janex tried swearing. She failed at that, too.
Mother f**king son of a c*ck-smoker's tit, she thought as she gritted her teeth. This battle was not going her way. Whelp, only one thing left to do.
Janex checked her quiver to make sure the innate magic in her black bow had re-summoned or regenerated or whatever it did to give her a full set of arrows. Finding all twenty there, she grinned an evil grin, drew one arrow and set it to bowstring, then went Dusk hunting.
It didn't take her long to find the Dark Dancer, and when she did she fired off three consecutive arrows before ducking out of sight. Even silenced, she was fast enough with her bow to fire multiple arrows in a short amount of time.

{Valmar : Lost Forest : Forest Shrine}
Valmar only smirked as Janex called out about the shards being her trick. He had better things to do than worry about some stupid archer girl. She wasn't worrisome. But the dancing...that could get bad.
Then again, maybe I should worry about the ice b*tch. Valmar thought to himself as he threw himself to the side, avoiding the ice that had formed underneath him. Well, attempted to avoid. He hadn't noticed the ice until it was too late to completely avoid it, receiving a long cut down his left arm. Combined with the shards he'd gotten from the debris earlier, he wasn't having fun anymore.
He'd just decided to go after Janex when he lost her completely. Not that she had jumped into a tree or something, no, he would have felt that. Instead the vibrations simply stopped. Had he really run out of energy that quickly? He hadn't even used that many attacks! Kneeling down, he placed his hand upon the earth and attempted to draw energy from it, but his words wouldn't come out. Not even a growl. Rage overtook him and he summoned his katars and started stalking through the forest, every sense on alert. He was blind to their positions, so he started roaming, looking up in the trees for Dusk. He was an open target, but that was his goal. If he could lure them into attacking them, he would find a position.
