"I..I joined the fitness club as well. I..I thought maybe it could help." Or completely destroy her, she really had no idea at this point. It could easily go either way, but Riley had seemed really nice. Mitsu just knew she would not be climbing any rock walls....no....no heights.
"Someone in the reaper dorms is trying to start up a music club." Though it really hadn't gotten underway yet. They still needed to make an appeal from what she heard and be approved. "I..I don't think I really play all that well but it seems like it might be interesting." Maybe it would help her get over her fear as well. She was really trying, usually she could pep herself up for the moment but when the moment actually came she deflated back into her normal skittish self.

The fitness club could help the girl out indeed. Depending on how things were done it could improve her confidence along with her body. That seemed like a pretty good choice on Mitsu's part. He supposed he could help her out a bit too if they happened to be in the clubhouse at the same time.
"Hm? Well that's.. interesting I guess," he said in regards to the music club. It did have a small bit of appeal, but joining that would require him to play around others. That wasn't going to be happening any time soon.
"Do you have a keyboard?" he asked. Shun recalled that was what she played but he didn't remember seeing one in her room. Perhaps it was kept stashed away for whatever reason.

Mitsu frowned and shook her head. "N..no not yet. But I found this music shop that has a used one. It's a little beaten up but the guy said he would give me a good price on it. I've been saving up so hopefully I can get it soon." And by saving up she was skipping meals. Not that it would kill her but she did miss having lunch and dinner.

Shun raised an eyebrow at the mention of the keyboard being kind of beaten up.
"Does it still sound alright?" he asked. If it was damaged or even missing some keys it probably wouldn't really be worth saving up for something like that.

"A-all the keys are there, a couple of them play a little funny but it mostly works. I...j-just don't have the money for something nice." At least it didn't sound too off, if there were other instruments it might not be noticeable....or it could be completely noticeable and she could end up being the laughing stock of the music club. What if they didn't want her to be a part of music club with something that didn't play right?
Mitsu suddenly looked distressed her face turning away a little, fighting the urge to pull the mask back down. She had let her mind get carried away with thoughts and theories that might not even come true...but she always had to wonder...what if?
"M..maybe I could get a job somewhere." Mitsu had no idea what the school's policy was on having jobs. She knew a lot of schools frowned upon it but it was really the only way she would be able to save to have a nice keyboard.

Having an instrument that had a few off notes didn't quite seem right. Even if she weren't to play for others, it would probably be a little harder to get into things due to the off tones and weird notes being played by the thing. For a moment, he glanced over at his guitar on the bed, just thinking.
"Who knows? Maybe something will go on sale or something," he said. He supposed she could try looking on the interwebs for some deals as well, but he didn't really trust getting an instrument that way.
"That could work. Wouldn't be too surprised if there weren't some students around here who had one," he shrugged. It was probably more likely that they had the job for when classes weren't in session. Then again, he could be wrong there.

Mitsu nodded, she supposed that was a plan. Though where to get a job would be the question. Maybe she could get a job at the bookstore or library. That sounded like it would be nice and quiet. Maybe that way she wouldn't be running all over the place to get to school and come here.
Reading over her section quickly it didn't seem to take Mitsu long before she was setting her book aside and grabbing for another one. She took notes here and there but by how quickly she was going through things it was a wonder if she was actually absorbing it. It seemed she got caught up in her own work for a little bit and in no time it was done, her books neatly stacked and her notes completed.
"W-what do you want to work on next?" Now her homework was out of the way she could help Shun focus on his.

Nodding to her, Shun quietly watched as she seemingly blazed through her own reading assignment, jotting down notes as she went. He didn't bother trying to see what it was she was writing as there was a rather good chance he'd get something wrong.
Instead, he just waited until she had finished, which wasn't hadn't taken her all that long to do.
Shrugging, he glanced at his books with a grimace. Not really giving much of a damn, he just grabbed one at random. At least this book had a little image on the cover so he could tell what it was. Letting out a sigh, he set it down and mumbled, "Section 3 of chapter 1."
If he recalled there were a few answers at the end of it that he'd have to do. Ugh.

Taking the book Mitsu flipped it open to the section and chapter mentioned. Skimming over it before she read anything Mitsu began to read the information aloud as clearly as she could. Her stuttering had seemed to calm somewhat though there were places here and there that caught her.
She continued going through his pile of homework piece by piece until they were finally at the end. He didn't have that much so it hadn't taken too long but she had to stretch after having sat on the floor so long. "Well, you're done. It wasn't so bad was it?"

Thankfully it wasn't too long before the whole thing was done with. Letting out a breath, he put his books away, staring at them for a bit as he did so.
"I guess not," he said as he turned back towards Mitsu. Pausing there, he let out another breath and thanked her once more, "..Again, thanks..."
Shun wasn't sure if doing the homework would actually help him at all as far as his learning went, but he supposed he'd find out sooner or later in that regard. When his things were set aside, he went ahead and sat down again, drinking some more of his water.

Mitsu turned toward Shun as he thanked her once again that smile coming back to her lips. For a moment it looked like she wanted to giggle but the gesture never happened. "Y..you sound like me today."
Now that his homework was done Mitsu supposed he didn't need her around anymore. Her face fell a little as she stared at her pile of books. "I...I guess I'll leave you be now." It had been nice doing the hanging out, Mitsu really didn't want it to end...but he probably didn't want to deal with her all evening. He had been playing his guitar before she had arrived and he obviously didn't want to play while she was still here.
Sitting up on her knees Mitsu began to gather her things bit by bit. "S..so do you know what you're going to wear to Prom?"

Shun glanced to the side when she said he sounded like her today. He supposed he did in a way. But he wasn't really sure how to deal with these sorts of things. It was over all, pretty foreign to him.
Turning back towards her, he paused at her question.
"Not really. Probably some sort of suit," he said a little flatly. Formal wear wasn't his favorite thing in the world but he put up with it when he had to.
"You?"

Collecting her things in her arms Mitsu stood to her feet. "N..no, I don't really have any dresses." And Shun could probably guess by now she didn't have money for anything fancy. "Lizzy said she would help me make a dress though. I'm supposed to head over there some time soon so we can get started. I can sew a little but I've never made anything as big or elaborate as a dress before."

Taking Mitsu's mug in hand, Shun set both cups onto his desk in the meantime. He'd wash them later on. Glancing towards her, he raised a brow for the moment, not knowing that Lizzy was a seamstress. Then again... since she was a spider demon, he supposed he shouldn't be surprised.
"I'm sure you'll look fine in whatever," he said in a neutral tone. Girls worried about that sort of thing right? He vaguely remembered overhearing various girls talking about stuff like that at least.

Mitsu wasn't so sure about that but she gave Shun a slight nod. "T..thank you for having me over. I enjoyed spending time with you." She smiled faintly again before she reached up for her mask and slide it back down onto her face masking her expression once again.
Heading to the door she paused for a moment looking back. "Tomorrow? Same time?" They probably wouldn't have as much to work on hopefully, but would he want her to come back? Or would he have plans?
