Yue appreciated that Artemis was actually taking the time to listen to her instructions. When she had tried to teach kail, he had been a good little kit and listened but he was quite embarrassed and thought he looked foolish. Yue wondered if her companion felt embarrassed as well. “Yes, like that” Yue stated. Now they just needed the fish to decide they wanted something to eat. It shouldn’t hurt too badly, mostly you knew from the pulling they did when they chomped down on your hair. However Yue had once got a really big fish that had actually managed to nibble on something not hair, well that might be the reason modiphims had claws and teeth Yue mused.

Artemis nearly squeaked when something bit her tail, not that it hurt. Mostly it just tickled. Flicking her tail toward the shore she tried to fling it onto land, only she had very bad aim and instead it went and flew at Yue's face. "Oh....my....god...I am so....so so so sorry...." Artemis covered her face with a paw, "I honestly...that was such a...Mm...." The phim bit her lip to keep from laughing. No, this was not funny. She was not going to laugh. Even though she was a complete failure as a fisher and had struck her teacher with a fish. It was certainly not funny.

Luckily being a mother and having to deal with a very energetic son gave Yue enough time to touch the fish long enough that it just barely hit the side of her face and with the same momentum threw it over on the ground. She glared at her student though and then decided some tackling was in order. After all how would her reputation fair if she left an assassination attempt go unpunished? Perhaps Yue could also tickle her, yes that was a good plan, and with that she tackled the poor laughing female into the water. Yue wasn’t truly mad, maybe before she had Kail she would have been but right now it was just the side of her face and the fish was dead so why not turn it into a tackling game.

Artemis tried to look sorry for what had happened, but she was having the hardest time trying not to laugh. "Yue...I really am....Uh!" She giggled as she was tackled into the water, "Yue!" She squeaked as the vixen stated to tickle her, "Nuuuu!" The purple phim wiggling, and flung herself around trying to get away from the evil, evil moon vixen that was tormenting her. "It was an accident...I swear!" She laughed so hard that her ribs hurt.

“Well unfortunately the jury does not believe you at all, thus we must carry out your sentence.” Yue stated mercilessly tickling her. One who was feeling such guilt would not be laughing right. Finally yue relented though because laughing too much hurt and she was pretty sure that Artemis was reaching near that point. “Come on lets go eat your fish” she replied started to get some of the extra water out of her hair. It probably wasn’t a good idea to go water tackling this late at night but if they got too chilled there was a hot springs with in flying distance.

Artemis looked up at the vixen and comically glared, "Oooo you're an evil, evil vixen." She laughed to make sure that Yue knew she was only teasing. "I cannot believe that you did that to me." She shook her head as she walked onto the shore and looked at the fish. She couldn't remember having a better time. Yue might seem a little standoffish some of the time, but the rest of the time she was just as playful as Art was.
Chuckling to herself she nudged one of the fish. "Thanks Yue." She took a bite.

Yue rolled her eyes and went back to trying to dry out her hair. “Hmm get revenge and tackle you childishly. Why of course after all I did end up raising a boy phim all by my self. You learn to adapt accordingly.” She stated. Kail would always have the weirdest expressions on her face when she did so. He loved when she felt at ease enough to play with him. The poor boy only had really one friend growing up. Hael had taken the other child and disappeared to places unknown. She was pretty sure it hurt Kail not knowing his brother.

Artemis chuckled, "I suppose I can understand it. You have raised a child after all. They tend to bring out your more childish side." She smiled as she ate her food, then sat on the ground happily. "I have really enjoyed our time together Yue. It was just what I needed to feel better." She nodded her head as she chuckled again.
"I haven't had this much fun in years."

“Especially when they are trying how to fly and they have a sash they use to climb everywhere” Yue shook her head. Kail had grown up to be a very kind gentleman but as a kid he was a little terror deciding it was his duty to protect his mother since the only other boy he knew he was related to had left with their other mother.
Yue smiled she was glad to help out for once. Sure she was kind and fun to be around with Kail, but it was her son and she was expected to be so for him.

Artemis chuckled at Yue, "Well children can be quite the handful. I have done a lot of babysitting over the years and I can sure say that is true." She shook her head laughing, "But your son sounds like a particular hard child to control. it must have been fun watching him grow up." Having been a difficult child herself, Artemis could relate. She had caused so much trouble when she was a kit she thought her daddy was going to burst a vein.

Yue tilted her head to the side and thought about Kail. “Well he wasn’t particularly difficult. He was nice and loved going to play with the other kids. He tried to help me out as well. He was very sweet, although he did tend to chase off suitors. It was rather embarrassing. Enough talking about Kail however. I’m afraid I’m going to start missing him even more” She chuckled. Then again the vixen next to her had offered her help in trying to find Kail. “would you like to go with me to check on the eagles again. Obviously in the morning when they wake?”

Artemis nodded her head. She didn't want to make Yue sad by continuing to talk about her children. Though she only talked about the one. It made her wonder what had happened to the other son she had mentions before.
"Of course. I think that would be great fun to spy on the eagles again." She chuckled as she shook out her wings. "But in the meantime do you have any suggestions for what we do. We have eaten, and played in the water." She smiled fondly at the memory.
"What else is there?"

Yue really didn’t mind taking about Kail but Kail often came with thoughts of De and how she didn’t really get to be around when De was growing up. Hael had said that it wouldn’t be a problem and she would honor her agreement but then the scarfed Vixen disappeared. Next thing she knew was that De had his own mate and Hael had gone crazy. After sitting there listening to Hael mutter on and on about the evils of daeva’s Yue snapped and told
“You… you don’t mind daeva’s do you?” Yue asked. She knew some phims where touchy about the whole thing and it was better to get it out of the way now. Waiting for Artemis’s reply would give her time to think about what she wanted to do next.

The question came out of the blue and startled Artemis, "Daevas?" She chuckled, "That was certainly a random question. I've never really met a Daeva before so....I wouldn't know honestly. But they haven't done anything horrible to me so I don't despise the whole race, if that's what your asking." The phim smiled at Yue.
"Why did you ask me that?"

Yue smiled happy with the answer. “Kail’s other mother had a problem with daeva’s” Yue replied. “A really bad problem with daevas and she was ruining Dethiatin’s life because he was mated to a girl who was ¼ daeva. So I got really vindictive and told her I was ¼ daeva as well. So I guess I wanted to see what your reaction was because I’m part daeva.” Yue answered looking up at the stars.
“Hmm I know what we can do next. There is a sakura tree orchid around here that you can see the moon. The human’s tend to leave out these sweet snacks for me to eat. I’ll take you there”
