But, in all seriousness, I think that's a great philosophy to follow, especially if you want to go online, where all the people with little-to-no skills like to pretend they're the next Picasso.

Roisu I had a tablet laptop. The screen broke because I drew too much. : P Used to use Paintshop Pro but my friend stole the disc (at least, I think she did. she'd never fess up to it of course). So now I just use the free stuff (mostly GIMP) and the programs that came with my wacom (mostly Coral). But you guys don't care about that. You probably care about this, though: my entry and the crap I originally intended to be my entry before I realized it was crap. I thought that one is funny! I mean the one you submitted looks good too but the other one can be to make people laugh! It's like he's stabbing himself because he is going through the portals so fast. xp

Oh okay, since you guys are posting your art then I guess I'll post mine too! I'll post the same description as I sent him. Note that I don't do color xD I do much better with shading. My submissionDescription: This is a drawing of many games created by Valve. First there is Gordon Freeman who I focused mainly on and spent most of the time working on. He is holding a Portal gun because he is trying to escape a hunter from Left 4 Dead. Notice the hunter in the portal in the background! They are in the 'sniper' area of 2Fort on Team Fortress. I didn't work too much on that since I spent most of the time doing Gordon Freeman. crying THIS TOOK FOREVER!! Well I worked the whole week that we had almost non stop because something like this usually takes me a year to get done. blaugh

I find it kind of funny that my entry somehow ended up getting a little bit too provocative before I realized what I was doing... [I was drawing a female Spy... in a rather suggestive/pin up pose with a dispenser... >.>;; -cough-]
Ah well. I'll still post it in my personal gallery at some point in time... maybe. If I ever finish it that is. XD
