"Hmmm?" Junko blinked and glanced back at Nuk when she heard him muttering something, watching as he tried to pry her hair off his arm with a pen.

Oh! He was...ahaha! Junko laughed, taking a moment to give her hair a forceful tug; it hurt her own head a little, but it got Her off Nuk's arm. "At least She wasn't trying to strangle you. She's done that to other people." And he was a somewhat good sport about it too! Somewhat. It was hard to be a good sport when one was being grabbed at by someone's hair. She'd make it up to him with cookies or something. Oh, but hadn't Shehk already brought him cookies? He probably wouldn't want anymore then. Not just yet.

...The wheel was one off. Again. Junko eyed the wheel suspiciously, not paying any mind to Her as She appeased herself with grabbing hold of Junko's own arm and moving it this way and that like a marionette puppet. She was used to this treatment; it was docile, idle, and it kept Her quiet. Instead Junko watched as Riley gave the wheel another spin. One off. Again.

"Nuk...did you rig the wheel?" Junko asked, narrowing her eyes at the skinwalker before giving the wheel one more turn with her free arm.

There was a visible look of satisfaction as She let go after Junko pulled her hair like that, shaking out his arm and sticking out his tongue at Her, wondering if She could even see it. Even if she couldn't, it was worth it, and he immediately felt better, settling down to see how they'd done. Neither of them had won. There was something mildly amusing about this, his grin broadening exponentially as Junko turned to him, the accusation making him snicker. "Now would I do such a thing?" He asked, trying to sound innocent and failing COMPLETELY, his eyes glittering a bit deviously, "It's just the universe telling you two something."

Even so, the skinwalker moved forward and reached under the table as if to press something underneath, making a waving hand motion at them to roll again.

If there was one thing that Riley appreciated, it was a good cheat.

Except when she was on the losing end.

Her 'smile' dropped like a stone, and she turned herself completely so that her legs were bent in front of the roulette wheel itself. She bent in, gave the wheel a nasty turn, and wrapped her arms around her knees.

Her eyes followed the ball like a hawk. If I don't win this one.. I honestly may flip this booth. I should just offer to do whatever you wish of me for chips instead of playing with this Jack-forsaken game, Nuk.

But she didn't.

Junko turned to Nuk with a raised brow and a look on her face that said 'seriously?' "Because you're Nukpana." Really, that was all that needed to be said. He was Nukpana. He was Evil. He was a prankster skinwalker who liked to torment and bully. It was how he was voted onto student council in the first place. Nonetheless she sighed and smiled, about to spin the wheel again when she saw him move and reach under the table.

"I knew it!" Junko gasped, pouting at him and giving the wheel a good spin. Show that skinwalker who's boss!

"You flip this booth I will flip you, it took me an hour to set this b***h up," Nuk replied in a casual tone, leaning over to rest his forearms on the table again to watch them spin the wheel idly. Except Riley's comment had left him finding it exceedingly difficult to look over at the wheel, focused instead on the lithe purple form sitting so prettily on on the table, the vibrant saffron of the table complimenting her luscious purple skin quite well. Lifting his eyebrows, he somehow resisted the urge to give her a look over, instead staring evenly at her, as if thinking about something. "That can be arranged..." he purred, that characteristic grin curling the corner of his lips, his eyes practically glittering, "You'll do whatever I wish of you?" It was only then that he glanced over at the wheel, waiting for the ball to settle before looking smug at how she didn't win. The wheel hadn't stopped, but Nuk straightened, turning around to grab a red chip from the neat stacks before reaching over to slide it right between her breasts, tapping it with one finger.

"How would you like to help me with Prom?"

Not even waiting for an answer, he turned to watch Junko roll, leaning against one palm propped up on the table as it turned. The ball went around a few times, their eyes following it as it did so, until it finally landed, and he smirked at her, offering her a chip and pointing under the table.

"There is no button."

"It's hard to believe you did this. It's so..nice!" Junko praised the skinwalker, though her wording may have come out a little less complimentary than she would have liked. "Er, well I mean...fancy and...stuff..." She blinked, watching him interact with Riley. At least they weren't fighting anymore. It was like back on Red's boat. She made a fairly disgusted face at the memory of that boat, shaking it off and perking up at Nuk's request to Riley to help with prom. Oh! If he had help he'd be more pleasant, right? He was being nice now but that must have only been because there were so many students around! Junko's eyes flickered in the direction of Shehk and the FEARleading booth for a moment, a small smile on her face as she turned to Nuk. "Can I help too?" She asked eagerly, hair raising excitedly. Anything to alleviate at least a little weight off the undoubtedly stressed and overworked skinwalker's shoulders!

She heard the ball stop clinking around on the wheel and turned to see where it had landed. She gasped. Finally! The ball landed in a winning spot! Junko gave a cheer and raised both arms in the air, hopping up and down and cheering. Sure, she only won one chip but she beat the damn wheel. She grinned, taking the chip from Nukpana and holding onto it. But there was still the matter of Nuk's cheating. The chip was put away for now and the ghoul turned to him, poking at his chest. "It's a very good thing Riley didn't follow through with her threat to flip the booth. You cheating chea...ter...?" Wait, what?

Junko didn't seem to believe him, getting down to lift the table cloth and peer under the table.

There...was nothing there...

...

.....

What.

"But you...reached under and...what..." Junko looked up at Nuk with an almost disappointed look on her face. She wanted to catch him cheating and give him hell for it! Damn!

Unbelievable. Riley's eyes lifted to glance over at the Desu/USA Booth, wondering what had happened to all the lovely luck she'd had earlier. Had she just run out of it? Used it all up in one glorious explosion of nyancats and cupcakes? She turned back just in time to Nukpana close in, and rose one brow at his suddenly purring voice. He was close enough to keep the view of his hand out of her peripherals, until the chip made it's way home. Only then, did she look down, and turn her head.

Ooh, a chip.

She plucked it out of her cleavage, and let it flip across the tops of her fingers. Help him with prom? That was, technically, Student Council's j-

The coin froze, still, caught between two suddenly clenched fingers, and her eyes narrowed to slits.

Mmm. She purred back. I'd love to.

He couldn't help but snicker at Junko's comment, not at all offended by it. "Didn't realize I could be refined, huh? Wait 'til you see my suit," He teased her, overall amused. It was the kind of thing he had been looking for, this sudden surprise in people's eyes that he could handle something elegant, that not everything he did was coarse and violent. Or, it would be if he was going to tell anyone. "Don't spread it around though -- I'm kinda keeping a low profile."

The skinwalker looked even more amused as the ghoul stumbled a little over her words as she realized what he'd said, and he followed her with his eyes as she peered under the table, only to find it completely bare. Nothing was under there, not even anything being stored for later use, such as more chips or Zerg eggs. Certainly not a button. "So I fibbed a little to see if it was just your nerves," he replied, shrugging a little and picking up the ball, eyeing it idly before laughing at her, "Don't look so disappointed."

Straightening and rolling his shoulders a bit, the skinwalker sat down in the chair behind the tables again, tipping it back onto the back two legs and lacing his fingers behind his head, the skull and 'hood' of his pelt hanging limply. His posture had become decidedly lazy, now, since they hype had died a little, relaxing in the time he had. There was a hint of smugness about him now, even more so than when they had started, and he flicked his eyes over to Riley before sliding back to Junko, grinning. He didn't respond to her -- he didn't have to. Everything according to plan...

But was it his plan or hers?

Junko brightened up upon hearing Riley agree to help Nuk, clapping excitedly and bouncing on her toes. Oh, this was fantastic! Riley helping was sure to give Nuk a break! And then Shehk would be happy and everything would be okay again! Perfect. Just perfect. Junko had her Nyan-cat, a poker chip that she would definitely be coming back to get more of, she'd gotten Nuk and Riley to stop looking like they wanted to just murder each other..for now...and she just knew as soon as she told Shehk the pricolici would be right as rain! It was very clear Junko was excited. Junko was definitely signing herself up as well to help on the committee. Surely there was something she could do. Oh! Food! They'd need food! And she could help with set up and..ohhh this actually sounded really fun! "Whoooooa! You're wearing a suit?!" Junko gasped. No way! She tried to envision him in a suit...and frankly what she imagined was just silly. Surely Nuk wouldn't look as silly as she was imagining. She gave a nod at his request, grinning. "Won't tell a soul! I bet Shehk's going to look so pretty in her dress too. Do you know what she's going to wear?" She was so curious! That was how it worked, right? The boil had to match the ghoul's choice of dress?

As Nuk relaxed Junko tilted her head a bit, looking around at the other students hanging around. She didn't want to just leave but...she promised Shehk she'd be back. Junko leaned down to give Nuk another hug, nuzzling her cheek against the skinwalker's with a happy little noise. "I'll see you later, okay? I'm definitely coming back for more poker chips. I can't just win one." She gave him an affectionate squeeze and released Nuk, writing her name down on the prom committee signup sheet and then picking up her nyan-cat box. Couldn't leave that behind~! She then walked around the table to get to Riley, giving the mindflayer as an affectionate a hug as she had given Nuk moments before.

"I'm going to stop by the fitness booth after I check on Shehk." She had to make sure she was still okay. She'd been gone a lot longer than she said she'd be! "Later, guys~!" Junko chirped, waving to the two, and then Natalia, Aislin and Sparrow, before hurrying back to the FEARleading booth.

Everything was working out according to plan.

Riley slipped her coin back into her cleavage, because it seemed an appropriate enough hiding place for it, and untangled her arms from the hold they had on her knees. Her palms rested on the booth, watching Junko with a half-listening expression as her mind churned in thought.

Those thoughts took a back burner (but certainly did not go away) when Junko began to mention Shehk, over and over. Though she didn't wince, Riley's eyes did flicker to meet Nuk's, soaking up any reaction he might suddenly offer. Still, she felt the light, gentle mood they'd established slowly seep away in place of something.. just a little painful.

Even Junko's bubbly attitude wasn't penetrating it this time, though Riley returned her hug just as affectionately. In fact, it almost felt as though Riley was glad for the comfort it brought, as she hesitated to let the ghoul go.

Sure. Riley murmured in an even tone. See you later. She watched the ghoul scurry off, her eyes remaining on the diminishing form of Junko even while a private line of thought entered Nukpana's brain.

We're going to have to talk about this, you know. She whispered. Her voice was very careful, as if there was a ribbon of caution surrounding each word.

One molten gold eye slid open to give Junko a long, hard, almost sulking stare as she sounded so surprised he was going to be wearing a suit, trying not to grin as he gave her half a scowl, not really succeeding. "What, of course I'm wearing a suit, what'd you think I was gonna wear?" He asked with a little scoff, the question rhetorical. She didn't actually think he was going to just come in jeans or something, did she? He'd set up this fancy booth, what more did she want from him? Still, Nuk seemed pacified as she didn't linger too much on it, instead listening as she continued, letting his eyes slide closed. They didn't stay that way for long -- the first mention of Shehk and his eyes snapped open, flicking to the long haired ghoul for a second with an intensity that was almost frightening, his face hardening immediately, muscles in his chest and abs visibly constricting. The look faded after a second, forcibly smoothed over in attempt to hide it from Junko, but there was still a slight broodiness to his mood that he couldn't hide without some sort of distraction, only slightly leaking into his voice.

"No, I don't know what she's going to wear," he answered evenly, not looking over at her or Riley. In fact, he closed his eyes completely, resting back as if he were relaxing again, although that smug amusement had all but vanished. He could practically feel the demoness' eyes on him, although he couldn't interpret whether it was merely thoughtful and analytical or angry. It was not until he felt Junko's arms around him that he opened them again, reaching up with one arm to squeeze her a little before watching her skip over to sign her name under Prom Committee and hug Riley, both of them watching as she skipped off. It left a slight tension in the air, a pause of neither of them wanting to speak up first, and yet at the same time both knowing where this was going.

'We're going to have to talk about this, you know.'

Nuk wasn't surprised by the voice in his head, less angry than he thought she was going to be. Still, it didn't make much difference -- instead of looking at her, he closed his eyes again, taking advantage of the lull. It might have been better if others were there, maybe he could avoid it then like he had when Astra had been there, but he knew he couldn't avoid it forever. He'd known Riley wouldn't let him.

"Why?" he finally answered, his voice a little monotone, the question not all that curious.
PostPosted: Sun Jun 12, 2011 6:11 am

His answer had her head turning to look at him finally, but her expression was locked in hurt shock. Her brow was furrowed deeply, as if she couldn't believe he didn't understand. She pushed her legs off the table, flopping them over to his side of the booth, and crouched down so that she was slightly lower than level with him. One hand lifted, twitching slightly, before it fell useless at her side.

Because I care, Nuk. Her whisper was fierce, and raw. About both of you.

Her hands pressed against her knees, and she pushed herself up to her feet, ready to leave. She crossed behind him to exit his booth area, but stopped with her back to him, as if a thought had occurred to her.

Maybe that's what we can do when I come over, at six.

She nodded vaguely to herself, and walked off, deep in thought.

Natalia reacted to the smack with a squeal, turning her head over her shoulder some to see the tall lip-less ghoul that had dotted Amityville campus since the day she had arrived. For some reason, as the tentacle-haired demon bent forward after that and proceeded with the game, speaking within her thoughts, (as the werelemur was slowly becoming accustom to--if only with this ghoul particularly) Natalia felt...excited? Glad? In her head the word 'finally' purred, her tail lifting to curl around the leg nearest--Riley?

Yes, it was Riley. The name stuck as it was said by more than just one student huddled around her. Junko responded soon after that, and to her Natalia chuckled and offered a quick wave; the hand held just below her bosom before dropping. Mustering up words was never a problem for the ghoul, however it seemed to take her a little longer to smoothen them out with charm.

"It is good to see you again love." Cut off as the skinwalker began, Natalia rubbed one hand down Junko's arm before turning her attention once again. Dark hair dangled at the side of her head, as she leaned in just a bit more, one hand finding itself against the booths flat surface. The other extended as the boil's did, taking hold of it firmly as her smirk spread into her own toothy grin. "Please, call me Natalia...and the pleasure is all mine." Pearly white fangs clicked together once in a quick SNAP before she slipped away from his grip and leaned back and away from the game that ensued.

Another boil had come forth, but with all the attention coming her way she nearly missed over his remark...She didn't mean to push him to the side, it just sort of happened. Orange eyes flicked to the side, catching the suave young gentleman waiting for his turn at her bat, and in an instant she found this turn of attention to be worth her while. She did the same as with the skinwalker, eyeballing the boil up and down before parting her teeth for speech.

"Oh, whatever do you mean?" A wink narrowed her gaze some, but soon after she took a step forward, looking over toward the crowd for only a second to switch between the three she now found herself familiar with. "Some might disagree..." She paused, extending one hand out for the boil with his hair pinned back. "Natalia..." The lemur looked to be expecting something.

(Lawl sorry for the fail post above, I was rushed out of the house but I wanted to post that before hand. >>)

Natalia pushed her lips to one side as both Riley and Junko abandoned the booth. Waving them off, although their backs were now turned to the ghoul, the monster swept the prom booth vicinity before settling her gaze back on the boil she questioned. There were still students scattered here and there, but open house was coming to an obvious close--or it would, very, very soon. The numbers were dwindling, and the excitement of it all seemed to be dying down with it...

For some. Natalia's smile still held fast to her pale lips, the darkening mood that hovered over the table and its skinwalker owner did not faze her in the least--she hadn't been paying attention to it, really. Her eyes had found their way to butts and boobs every now and then, but otherwise the conversation was hardly worth noting. Shifting her weight, knocking a hip out so one hand could clutch it while the other wrapped around to be piled on top, she raised a brow and tilted her head.

Still waiting.

After Mitsu had gone off to her room to rest, Shun found himself wandering the booths area for a little longer. As he moved on about, he took notice that there was one booth that hadn't been around earlier. Curiosity struck and he meandered on over. Coming up to it, he frowned a bit. It was just a booth for a school dance; a prom to be more specific. That wasn't exactly his sort of thing.

But, it did appear that there were some activities going about here aside from ticket sales. Having nothing else to do at the moment, he decided to give it a whirl.

The mindflayer from the fitness booth was here it seemed, though it looked like she and the skinwalker were having some indepth discussion. At least that's how it looked before the former wandered off. The others around, however, he didn't really recognize. He didn't care for the most part either.

Turning towards the roulette wheel, he went on and gave it a spin.
