Casually, Esma turned her head towards Kale and tilted her head slightly - deciding to play dumb. "Yes? Did you need me for something, oh mighty one?" she asked, 'oh mighty one' seething in sarcasm as she spoke those words.

"Hmm what's up with you did I forget your birthday or something" Kale questioned her as he walked inside. "Happy belated birthday" Kale said sarcasm filling his words as he shook his hands slightly. "Don't let this attitude become a normal thing or you won't get paid at al..." he started stopping to think about it for a moment. "Ahh that's probably what this is about" he muttered searching on his person for a moment before pulling out a small pouch that was weighed down by 50 or 60 gold coins inside it. "Your acting all moody because you haven't gotten paid yet am I right" he questioned holding and bouncing the bag a few times.

"What else do I buy my food with?" Esma replied somewhat bitterly, an obvious confirmation to why she held so much frustration at the moment. "Despite whatever you might think, I can't work efficiently when I'm starving half to death." Of course, this being Esma, starving was a clear exaggeration - still, this didn't pay nearly as much as she liked - and getting illnesses or wounds treated always cost coin out of her own pocket. It happened more often than she'd like to admit.

"Alright alright then miss snarky" Kale said tossing the coin bag towards her. "Jeez I asked a simple question not for your list of woes" he told her with a slight shrug. He didn't care about her problems and listened very little to her moaning and complaining. "Just keep working like your supposed to" Kale told her about to leave but stopped. "And help Ez clean up down there" he said before walking out of the kitchen.

{If you want, I could have my goblin character run into yours in A Maiden's Search. Or if you'd rather not interact with him, I can create another character entirely for that.}
Esma rolled her eyes, pocketing her gold and going on to do as instructed. "Whatever." she grumbled, stalking off to go clean up blood from another one of his victems - yet again. "Don't see why you can't save us all the trouble and not kill them so brutally." she complained to herself, hardly audible as she headed towards the dungeons.

Ez looked to see who was walking in "Kale?" she questioned with a smile, but frowned only seeing Esmeralda. She was quick to smile again at company and her anyway as she leapt towards her "Welcome back!" she always greeted her, happy to see the woman as she attempted to hug her though she was lightly speckled with blood "How are you Esma? Did you buy a new dress?" she questioned her. She had most of the blood cleaned, but in her attempts to remove the body she ended up making it worse therefore many body parts and internals were scattered around the room. There was no blood though, which made it look a bit odd.

Among the three companions descending down a traveler's road, a lanky male looked about his surroundings with absolute joy. Voit was one of the rare dream reapers, the ones who actually enjoyed being out in the sunlight. That and the fact that no reaper had been as obsessed with princess as the young man set Voit apart from the rest. He walked beside Dema and Lucian in a casual manner, his clothes (though at one point may have been flashy and impressive) looking a bit ragged for his long frame. Voit didn't mind though, clothes met nothing to him when he was helping a beautiful princess! Though at Lucian's words, the man scoffed and rolled his eyes. "It's obviously this way!" Voit said, pointing to his left.
It was at that moment though in which the reaper heard Dema say they where headed in the right direction, the opposite of where either of the two had pointed. Voit felt his cheeks get a little hot, but quickly pointed his finger in the direction they where currently going. "-Like I said, we're going the right way." He said quickly, pretending as if he weren't directionally challenged. "I like Dema's plan. I like it a lot. Getting executed isn't exactly on my agenda today." Voit quickly agreed, puffing his chest out a bit pridefully for a moment as he walked alongside the other two. In truth, the man had many flaws and was a bit ditsy, but that's what made Voit, well..Voit.

Dema snickered at Volt's ditsy behavior and self-contradiction, a broad smirk plastering itself upon her features. "Or any day, for that matter. That's why we need to make a name for ourselves first, to gain the kingdom's trust. We've got a year's worth of time until the wedding date itself, so if we progress at a good pace, well, our success isn't hard to imagine."
"Surprisingly, not yet." Esma replied with a chuckle. "Just had this dress and apron cleaned, though. It's surprising how much effort it takes to scrub blood stains away."

A petite and beautiful young lady sat on the edge of her bed, a golden brush in her hand that she was using on her long hair that reached her thighs. The dark black glistened in the light and seemed to almost be a midnight-blue at times, often making a beautiful contrast to her light-blue eyes which were currently closed. At the moment this girl, Faye, seemed rather calm and her stance showed no indication toward her present position of being kidnapped by an evil wizard. But looks can fool. They can fool so much that most know Faye as Princess Listelle, the girl's master who she was pretending to be.
Faye opened her eyes, sighing softly. She was bored and the sudden frustration showed clearly in the lines that now marked her face. It was a side-effect that occurred when she was kidnapped. The young female became a bit bi-polar and agitated, a lot different from her normal calm and kind persona.

"Aye, Aye Captain Dema." Voit teasingly saluted the girl, smiling down at her. Out of the three of them, she was the best at direction, so Voit and Lucian where both pretty lucky to have Dema. "What would we do without you?" Voit went on, talking in his boisterous and over exaggerated manner as usual. "Oh marvelous brain of our rag-tag team, if only your lovely self where a princess, I would marry you on the spot!" The male laughed heartily, Voit was always in good spirits and energetic. Besides, joking around was what the man did best, besides sword fighting and saving princesses of course. It was rare for the male to become serious if something didn't involve aprincess. Usually it was only if his friends would ever get hurt, and his companions at the moment seemed just fine.

Lucian frowned, glaring at Voit. "Or I could just kidnap her right away, and save us all the trouble!" He said loudly, and proudly. His eyes were glued on Voit for the moment. "Of course, I would never get caught." Cue oddly inconvienient tripping of Lucian. He caught himself within moments. "At least, we should stop in that town..." He muttered, his thoughts off somewhere else. [-sorry. Watching my drama club's production of jekyll and hyde on dvd with friend.-]

{It's fine. ^.^}
"Oh, but alas poor knight, every woman is a princess in her own right~" Dema joked right back, unable to help but smirk all the more at the irony of Voit's statement alone. She then looked over to Lucian and teased, "Not if you trip over your own arse first." Knowing that Lucian was soon thinking of something else, she shrugged it off and continued onwards - the group almost at the town as it was.

Walking towards his room Kale stopped and headed over to his captives room. It was only a few doors down from his own so it didn't take him long at all. Raising his hand up Kale knocked on the door before pressing it open. "So then how is my little dragon today" Kale asked with a grin as he stepped inside. "Are you enjoying the room? If not I could easily have it arranged your put into a much more plush room something with chains perhaps" he asked chuckling slightly as he stood there. He had known for some time that this was not the princess and was at times keeping her alive for the sole reason of drawing the real princess.

"Yes, my lord." Kyrell Santry left the king's hall swiftly after finding out the details of his current mission.
After being given the task of smiting the wizard, Kyrell, the knight turned bounty hunter set out to his friend's house -- a hero who met his death recently at the hands of a demonic wizard. He couldn't help but feel bad when the news reached him that his foolish friend had actually ventured out alone. At the same time, Kyrell knew his friend would never ask him to come along because he didn't want to be the sidekick of a powerful former knight.
Kyrell sighed as the fallen hero's mother opened the door for him and handed him a map that was especially left behind for him to find.
"He found the location after all!" Kyrell said as he went on his way, while looking at the map.
"What can I expect from a king's scout? He must have weaseled his way in as well." He said, putting the map away and taking the route of the shaded woods though it was dangerous for most and misleading in terms of direction. He was comfortable and knew the place well enough anyway.
