"Yes, I suppose so. But I think it's time for Coailiann to give in because I can't take too much more of this whining and carrying on," A bit of annoyance was showing in her silver eyes as she rubbed Coailiann's back, the tiny girl - smaller than she should be at her age - cuddling close. She was sleepy all the sudden.
"No, Del, she can't walk yet. Much to everyone's displeasure, I assure you."

Coailiann simply blew a raspberry and stuck her thumb in her mouth, not liking that she was being told she needed help. Coailiann didn't want help. She wanted to walk on her own! And. She. Would.
Ianna gave a soft chuckle, "She's the most rebellious and stubborn Sidhe I've had the pleasure of knowing."

Coailiann made a face and wiggled from her mother's lap, going over to Del and plopping beside her - promptly grabbing one of the plushed toys, "Mine. No you. Mine."
Obviously she had never really had to share before - and didn't like the fact someone else was making eyes at her toys, "Mine." she repeated again, instantly latching on to the bear's ear with her little mouth.
Ianna blinked, "Coailiann...You should know better than that! You SHARE baby. Let her play."
"No! NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!"
It seemed the Sidhe was cranky again, as well.

Ianna pursed her lips and moved to scoop Coailiann up - who promptly let go of the teddy bear and latched onto Ianna, whimpering. It was HER stuff, damnit! HERS! Not some little baby thing with a tail that didn't even look like she belonged here!
Hers!
And her mommy knew that...Right?
Ianna growled and swatted her rear. Apparently not.
A loud wail.
"Ughh...I think it's time for Coailiann to have a good talking to and a nap...I'm so sorry for this, Malen," she sighed and leaned up, kissing his lips deeply, "Come back tomorrow?"
Her eyes pleaded with him as she rubbed at Coailiann's back, trying to calm her down.

Malen grinned still feeling the usual after effects of one of their kisses. " ill be here, A friend of mine is taking her kids to the zoo tomorrow and I promised Del she could go so I have the day free.
Del now assured that she would not have to stay clamed down a bit and stood toddling over to Malen before clinging to his leg. He bent down and picked her up aware that she'd not be able to walk home. " Call whenever you want me over and I'll be here soon." he said before turning to head out looking over his shoulder he frowned quickly at coailiann " super heroes are tolerant Kay remember that."

Hmph. Tol-er-ant? What was that? If it meant she had to share she didn't want to be a super hero and let him know with a quick jut of her lip, thumb moving immediately to her mouth where she proceeded to suck it furiously.
Unpredictable indeed!
Ianna sighed and closed her eyes, "I'll try to get Matty to watch Kay for the day. Maybe we can actually have a nice, pleasant Valentines day..." she chuckled - and yes. She had remembered.
With that, Ianna turned to walk down the main hall and put Coailiann to bed - scolding her the entire way.
