 Sosuke Sosuke, who had been quiet until this point looked over to the elders, "I am Sosuke, why have we been summoned here" Sosuke asked completely disregarding the conversation that was going on.

The council men studied the people before them. It seemed a good team, but the question was: Could they work together?
The leader spoke. "All of you will journey to an the old remains of a temple only recently found. We hope that this is the same place that might hold information on the tree. It's massive and should hold large stores of information.
However, the majority of the temple is surrounded by the wraith's monsters. It's dangerous, but you must get Illysia inside that place. She'll be able to find what we need." he explained.

Cinna walks over to the council leader "ALL OF US!?!?!!? are you serious? including the little girl and the translator i can't protect everyone and the kids already bad luck and i doubt the rat ladys ganna be much help...oh well you get what you pay for and i didn't pay"he comments looking over at Sosuke "so what do you do?"

Shadar was the one to speak. "That "rat lady" is Lithia. Both she and Sosuke are two of my best assassins. They probably could take down threats faster than you could cut one in half." he stated simply.
The prietess spoke next. "Illysia is the only one out of you that can read ancient texts. Without her the information we need would take years to translate, which we don't have time for."
The elder continued. "Tori can help speed your journey, in a number of ways as well. Training animals is an invaluble asset.
Now, I suggest you shut you trap before I take you off this mission."

_.-~Tori~-._ tori smiled and said " seems like the person looking down on us is the first to get thrown off the team." she wasn't really sadistic, but she could appreciate but a bit of schadenfreude every now and then. besides, he'd been a jerk. She whistled one high pitch tone, which was responded to ((just cant make that sound right...)) by a tiny bird call. said bird flew in a second later, seating itself on Tori's shoulder. it was a tiny owl, barely 13 cm tall (=5.11 inches. I'm European, so I work in the km-m-cm system). from a pouch strapped to her hip, Tori pulled a ball of cotton and a little flask. she let a few drops on the liquid fall onto the ball and gave it to the bird, who then precoded to take it in one of its claws, fly toward the rude male and dab it on his face, neck and the exposed tips of his fingers. " Don't even think of shoving her away. Fu is an elf owl with exceptional hunting skill, she's even able to hunt scorpions. besides, she's giving you a treatment against those fleas of yours." Tori said, already predicting that the guy'd probably try to slap her friend away.

She watched with interest as the owl flew around Tori.

Cinna facepalms realizing his complaints i mean suggestions weren't going to change anything and he didn't want to get thrown off the team since he was the only thing between the mission and complete utter failure "fine then lets just go already Rat lady watch the kid i don't want it getting lost"he says while watching the owl nervously

I'm Tori, I work with animals, birds in particular. the bird on my shoulder's called Fu and she's my elf owl." this argument was starting to annoy her, and they needed to get going asap.
