Christof could only blink as the horned and winged ghoul prattled on at him, questions he couldn't even begin to answer even if his mouth hadn't been stitched shut. Several people? Of course, he was a patchwork! That was how it worked! Waste not, want not. Extra limbs? He gave a small whine, brows knitting as he glanced to Jericho with an uncharacteristic look of desperation.

Official Answerer of Questions, that was the Task she had given her dragon minion. The Igor didn't quite trust him to answer any for him, though. He shifted, backing away to huddle beside his Mistress as though trying to hide from the overzealous visitor.

Er... Mistress? Should I ready the activity soon? I do hope you are alright, are you keeping hydrated? He almost was begging. Almost.

Extra limbs, hmm? It did sound... *interesting*... but he wasn't entirely sure how practical. He'd have to consider it more later.

Cady watched as the strange boil whimpered and retreated, and finally got a good look at his face. No mouth. Huh.

"Hey, that's weird. Your mouth is sewn shut, I'm sure you noticed. You never though about maybe...cutting it open?" She cocked her head quizzically. That seemed like a pretty serious design flaw. "I guess it's ok though since that other ghoul can do that...brain speak thing. That really tickled. Can she read thoughts? That would be kind of scary though, but also neat because sometimes like I'm hungry and I don't know what I want to eat and she could probably tell me." She nodded emphatically, moving a little closer to the booth as he moved away. Cady was, as usual, completely oblivious to his discomfort. However, his huddling behind the purple ghoul made it kind of hard to talk to him.

"Well, I bet being sewn together can be really useful. Like instead of changing clothes you could change...Parts. Huh. You should ask her," she gestured at the supposed tentacle monster, "if you can borrow some of her tentacles. Then maybe you could do the brain tickling thing too."

It was at this point she noticed the jar for the raffle, and happy grabbed a pen to scribble her name on a paper. Only... she was really bad at writing. Maybe a picture would do.



Satisfied with her handiwork, she dropped the dog eared scrap of parchment into the jar.

Never one to want to look weak, Riley quickly shook her head at Danny. No, I'm over it. Thank you for the offer. And a pleasure to meet you as well, Danny. We do not have courses tailored towards beginners or experts, however we have members of all different levels - and several trainers that individually help you based on what you can handle. They make sure you do the right workouts for you. Jericho here is one of them, of course. She squeezed his arm affectionately.

Riley heard Christof's question, but it would be rude to turn to him while she was speaking with the new students, so her answer was privately sent to him without any look. Yes, thank you Christof.

Even as she spoke, she was listening to Amphi's detailed explanation, and nodded at the appropriate moments. You came to the right club. We can tailor a workout specifically directed towards leg strength. It should help you immensely.

Aww, look. Christof was making friends! She completely ignored his cries for help - he could use the social experience.

Without turning away from the ghouls scattered in front of her, Riley caught the sight of yet another interested new member. She gave Krovi a small nod of greeting as well. Welcome, please, take a pamphlet.

Yes, this was working out quite well, or so Riley felt. She was making connections with all of the new potential students before they had even been enrolled. One step ahead, her father might have said.

Trembling as the downpour continued, the hunchback took a tentative step back before lurching as fast as his uneven legs could take him towards the pile of equipment, suddenly trying to look as busy as possible. She seemed distracted- could he make a clean get-away maybe?

And she kept bringing up NAP club! They hadn't even set up their booth yet! And with Barth gone... no, Miss Yaya was a lot more together than the Sloth, and Calder had certainly taken the load off of the Igor's responsibilities in ways he really didn't mind... BAH! He shouldn't feel guilty.

A box that had been precariously perched where it was far to heavy to stay safely became jostled by his frantic attempts at looking busy, topping down with a metallic CLANG as it landed directly on his worn boot.

There it was again, the quiet boil's 'intense excitement' just barely contained between clenched jaws.

Cady winced in sympathy as the box landed with a loud CLANG on the boil's foot. She moved closer, frowning slightly.

"Oh gosh, that sounded bad. Here, let me help. I'm good at lifting things, even though I'm a ghoul. Say, if there's an accident in the gym, do you stitch people up? You look like you'd be good at it, after all, you obviously practice a whole lot." She chattered continuously as she leaned over to get a grip on the end of the box farthest from the boil.

"If you can grab the other side I'm sure we can get this somewhere it won't be as likely to fall again. Safety is important. Just the other day I learned about Choking Hazards. You know, I don't usually have a problem since I'm a manticore and we were designed to basically swallow anything but this whole human form thing is a bit tricky." She frowned a little harder. "If I try to eat anything too big, I start to cough. Gladys says that's called a Gag Reflex, but I thought gagging was like playing a joke, so maybe my throat is just really gullible." She nattered on. It was so nice, not being interrupted. It felt sort of refreshing. Cady decided that she really liked this boil. He was lots of fun to talk to.

Christof quaked, but ultimately accepted her help to heft the box up, still dumbstruck by the fact she never seemed to run out. He shook his head to one question, nodded to another, and nearly dropped the box when her fluid train of thought derailed him almost completely. "Mmmnng...?" He managed in a weak voice, eyes once more darting back to Riley and Jericho who seemed to have their hands full as well. Too full to come rescue him.

Nrrrrrrggg.... His eyes darted back to the yammering creature as they slid the box back into place. He had to make a good impression. No hitting potential fellow minions with a blunt object. Or chopping her up into parts.

His expression became thoroughly glazed.

Somewhere, distantly, his foot was throbbing.

Cady was pleased to see such a peaceful expression on the injured boil's face. "I know you can't really talk but I find talking really helps to distract me from bad things, you know, like your foot. I probably shouldn't bring it up - your foot that is - because reminding you about it will probably make you think about it and that will make it hurt worse. Maybe I can tell you a story about something not foot related." She tapped her chin in thought, but for some reason she could only think of stories about foot races.

Then she remembered the conversation she'd had with another student in the library. "Hey! There's this ghoul I met I think you would really like, she's not sewn together but she is covered in bandages and she has bear arms so I guess she must be sewn together too, although she says she was a bear. I met her in the libreddy." She took a deep breath. "Anyway she told me this really cool story about a cow that made milk and went to the store. Can you imagine? A cow SHOPPING. I had to leave before she finished though because of the book monsters. There's a regular infestation in there, it's awful. But yeah her name is Owl, and she doesn't have a mouth either I don't think but she can talk and she's very good at being loud."

"I really do think you would like her," she finished, somewhat winded. She glanced down the hall at some of the other booths. She'd been her for a while, and she was sure the patchwork boil should probably be getting back to his work.

"Well, it was really nice talking to you, you all are such nice people, I will probably come back later but I heard the FEARleading booth has spookies and I wanted to grab some before they ran out, the cafeteria food was ok but I think I want something sweet." Cady gave one final, wistful glance at what she could only assume was a telepathic tentacle monster. If only she could harness her powers for food.

With that wishful thought, she skipped away, toward another booth.
