It WAS her, Cat purred delightedly to himself as he bundled up against the lanky young ghoul, he knew he could have recognized that lovely mist anywhere! He was preparing to explain his secret to her, how he had camped out by the school without letting on, but...
Who was that?
Cat peered over Aislin's shoulder at the patchwork girl who had deemed him feline, and this... -well Cat wasn't quite sure WHAT Ulmuka was. But it was staring. And grinning. An admirable grin, admittedly, but a grin interupting his cuddles none the less. His arms wound about the banshee's waist a little more firmly.
Cat liked cuddles.
"Never you mind that right now critter-cake," He murmured, releasing her with some hesitance and shooting a broad glowing grin to the approaching undead and the staring...thing. One must always Smile for company. "You wait with your pretty little self right here for me, huh? There's a book I wanted to show you, and I wondered if this library had it." A pause, "I'll be back in no time- try not to miss me too much~"
He would not admit that he just didn't like two new faces having the jump on him while he was reuniting with a friend, vulnerable, so instead would observe from afar for now. Up amidst the shelves.
Another well-practiced Smile was his parting gift, before he began climbing away up the towering bookshelves.

Now that they had revealed themselves, Pepin had very little trouble recognizing Cat and Aislin. The glitch ghost never forgot a face and these two had been chatting her up on groanspring just a few weeks prior to the Open House.
"Are you two related? Have you known each other very long? I don't think I've seen you around Halloween Town," Pepin huffed as she approached the pair.
They were ghosts like her and she felt it very necessary to involve herself in their web of relationships. Otherwise she'd find herself having a really hard time fitting in. (Or so she assumes) From the corner of her noise-filled eyes Pepin spotted a very interesting boil creeping around the entrance and shot him a devilish smile. "Well join us, peeper~" she teased.

That hug had been SO CUTE! Syb almost squealed with happiness as she headed for the pair, only to bump straight into a very tall male with wings. She blinked, looking up at him curiously, since he was just standing there, staring.
"Hi!" she said, moving so she could be seen. "Do you know those two? Are they dating? They're so cute together!!" She had forgotten entirely about introducing herself. And oh, there were so many people here! Had they come to see that adorable hug?

Unsure and confused by the text message he had received on his eyephone. The young nogitsune watched as he entered the library for the first time. He put on his visitor pass with care, holding onto the pamphlet that showed a map of the area he was in. His ears were not necessarily pinned back in anger, but more like in uneasiness from seeing and being around so many ghouls and boils. His long tail swished lightly behind him as he looked around at the books, but didn't really see any that caught his attention. "Books... Books... And more books, but nothing seems to catch my interest..." Speaking as his left ear twitched up then back into the same position as the right. His attention was caught by the three ghosts, but would rather not try to make friends. "Y-yes mother..." He spoke to himself as he fidgeted with the pass around his neck.

Aislin's smile fell into a perturbed frown as Cat detached himself and just kind of clambered up a nearby ladder to reach the further reaches of the book case. She set her hands on her hips, which cocked out to one side as she glared up after him. She didn't care about a book, she wanted to talk with her friend! "Cat I-"
Voices behind her had the banshee ghoul turning, long hair flicking out as she did so as it floated like a flaxen cloud about her head. She tilted her chin upwards slightly as she looked towards the little collection of strangers that she hadn't noticed before, her grin spreading across her features again. With another little clap of her hands she greeted them.
Another ghost was addressing her and she couldn't help but give a tittering laugh that grew louder until she only just managed to cut it off into a hiccuped and muffled burst of sound. "Related? I guess maybe?" She shrugged, and maintained her toothy grin as she spoke. She glanced towards the lanky winged boil who was staring straight at her and the patched, mottled ghoul. "Who knows, though. We've known each other for a while though! And uhm. It's a big town? That was Cat. I'm Aislin."
With another stifled giggle she pattered forward and unrestrainedly reached out to loop an arm with the ghost ghoul and more than a little casually slide the other over the boil's shoulder. She leaned her cheek on his arm and a peachy mist eeked from the hole in her throat in thin, barely there wisps. "And you are?"

So many ghosts! If his grin could have grown larger it would have. If not for the visitor's passes he'd have wanted to throw himself into the middle of the ghosty goodness and spin around. It was a secret wish of his to have ghosts pass through him. For what reason? None other than experience.
A rather petite patchwork girl bumped into him and he barely moved from his spot besides another ruffle of his wings. He'd been filing the names away in his head. Aislin. Cat. He blinked his large golden eyes simultaneously down on the girl. "They are very cute.." His words came out like hiss almost, mixed with a grated laugh. His tone was rather creepy, as was his manner, but there was nothing aggressive or negative about his behaviour. This was the premium place for creepy after all!
"I don't know them. No. Who are you?" His hands folded over each other in front of him as if he were thinking and then he offered one, very politely as he was taught, to the petite girl.
"I am Ulmuka Knobwalker." His tilted head seemed to bobble back into a normal position. "And hello to you ladies as well!" His unnerving stillness disappeared in a flash when he circled through the ghouls around him and he daintily lifted their hands. Each received a bowed head and a dangerous clack of the teeth above their flesh (and maybe a sniffing sound? was he smelling them?) but he was not so presumptuous to kiss their hands.
He even reached out to the strange boy with many tails who walked past, talking to himself. "Hello.. hello.." He peered at the boy with his currently unblinking eyes. "Who are you?"

A frown remained permanently posed on Joachim's lips as he picked up his visitor's badge from the entrance. A soft squeak responded from the top of his head as the badge looped around his neck, it seemed to rather disgruntled with its new situation however the student seemed to pay it no heed. Making away across the campus he avoided eye contact as much as he could, the last thing he wanted was others asking him a whole lot of questions that he didn't feel like answering at the moment. Instead he just wanted to find a quiet place, maybe take a bit of a nap, and wait until this whole event was either over or if the so called paper work his father sent would finally be sorted out. Either way nothing good was sure to come out of this experience or so that was Joachim's belief on everything.
Peering around he noticed the library, libraries where always quiet weren't they? Who wanted to visit a place full of musty books and expect some sort of excitement? It was perfect or so he thought as he pulled opened the door and made his way into the silent building the only noise was from his boots clicking across the hardware floor and the faint voices of students.
Students? So much for it being completely empty and quiet.

So many books....!
Kallos found himself staring as he walked into the library, his eyes following the bookcases into the darkness. So many books, and they were all, well almost all (due to the fact that some were flying high above reach and others looked a bit on the unstable and snapping sides), at the student's fingertips. Closing his dark eyes for a moment, the slight Haunt breathed in the scent of the old bound books, ink and paper... It was a familiar smell, and it made him feel at home.
At this point, Kallos would just want to attend the school for this amazing library. Even now, in his mind he was, for lack of a better comparison, squealing like a schoolgirl over how many books there were available.
Gripping his notebook tightly to his chest, the little ghost finally noticed there was many others standing around and talking. Surprisingly, there actually was a few ghosts too. In any case, maybe he could just slip by them and get to those marvelous books. After all, he'd have to take as many notes on what the Academy could offer before he left. Trying not to make much noise or get attention pulled to himself, he began inching his way toward the bookshelves.

"Sy--Sybaline?" Syb said, hesitantly, her hand still in the air from being "sniffed" as the boil left her as quickly as he had noticed her and went from person to person. She hesitated, wondering why the ghoul with the hole in her neck had just ignored her completely while greeting the others, then shrugged it off, realizing it only made sense. The ghoul was gorgeous, and Syb was, well, Syb.
She looked up at the ladder, curious what book the ghost kitty had gone to get, then around at the crowd, trying to figure out who to approach. They all seemed to be talking like they knew each other, so she took a step back, turning to look at the books once again.
She stopped as a flash of white caught her eye, and stared at the most fashionable boy she had ever seen. He seemed to be alone, she thought as she headed towards Joachim, but she HAD to ask him who had designed his outfit!
"Excuse me? Excuse me!" she called, waving at him. "I just LOVE your outfit! Can you tell me where you got it?"

A little bird had told him a certain banshee was haunting the library, and Seiji was keen to get there before her flighty interests carried her elsewhere. It was only a matter of time with this ghoul. It was exciting being able to see her again after such a long time, though at the same time there was a sliver of apprehension. They'd wandered together for quite a long time before she'd up and vanished on him with nary a word of warning. Just gone, out of the blue. He'd searched, of course, but there had been no sign nor hint of where the ghoul had gone. So recently departed, and knowing no one, the jikininki had not been happy about it.
It wasn't long after he met his "parents". A nice older couple of stationary spokes that took him and treated him as a son. They'd made a great life for, but had always wondered about the sharp toothed banshee and where she'd gotten off to.
Wandering into the library, the ghost paused to listen, picking up on the most varied collection of voices, and headed that way. If she was anything like he remembered then she'd likely be with a group, the center of attention perhaps.
And there she was. Blonde hair, pale skin, and very little covering it. He paused on the edge of the group, glancing in turn to each of the ghosts around her, then turned back to Aislin. "Ash."

Joachim had all intentions of just scooting by the group of students that were needlessly chatting with one another in search of a secluded corner while having a date with a rather comfy chair. Yet like everything else in his life nothing went like he wanted, why say the glass was half full when it was really half empty? Instead he found himself caught by a girl with a rather unusual patches of skin sewed together enthused over what he was wearing.
"Errr... these old things? I guess a store I didn't really purchase them myself," he replied hoping that if he just played the rather oblivious idiot that maybe she would lost interest and leave him be. Not that he could really say where he had gotten them it was one of the many stores that he was dragged into by his mother and sister all the names seemed to blur together leaving him more than happy to forget the experience.
"So..... is everyone here prospect students?" he asked looking at the familiar badges that hung around everyone's neck, there was even a ghost looking girl in her underwear how weird was that?

A dangerously high pitched giggled tittered from Aislin as Ulmuka took her hand and snapped at it, not a bit bothered by the light sniffle she'd received afterwords. Her shoulders hunched slightly and she brought her free hand up to cover her toothy grin coyly. "Ulmuka, that's a cute name. What are you, though?" Unabashedly she circled around the boil, trailing a hand across his shoulder. With both of them she stroked along the curve of his wings. "What lovely plummage you have, Ul-Mu-Ka~"
As she said each syllable of his name she petted over his feathers. Ducking back around in front of him she leaned... a little too far. With a little yelp she stumbled and reached out to grasp at the front of his shirt. Jack this STUPID visitors pass! Reaching up she was just about to yank it off or crumple it up or something when.
"Ash."
"Seiji!" An ear splitting squeal followed as Aislin bounded over towards the second familiar face she'd seen that day. Throwing her arms around the boil's neck she hugged him tightly, feet kicking up off the ground to hang off of him. "I missed you! I was hoping I'd see you here today! They're still working on my stupid papers before I can stay here. It's horrible not being able to do anything!"

"Maybe?" Pepin inquired and knelt before Cat a Aislin spoke but the shade had skittered off into the depths of the library before she could properly converse with him. "Hmm..." she pouted but returned to the banshee with a pleasant expression as their arms locked.
New prospective students poured into the library and Pepin was nearly flustered trying to keep up with each of their faces. Most importantly was keeping tow of her fellow ghosts so when the Hungry Ghost entered, she couldn't help but pipe up- especially since he recognized the banshee ghoul.
Well THEY know each other, how delightful~ Wait... he's definitely a student here...
That was when Pepin knew it was best to really pay attention. He was the first actual student she'd seen at the campus open house. And Ash was actually entering the school huh? Connections connections. The more she knew about those actually who were without a doubt attending, the more she was convinced she could secure a spot for herself.
For a brief moment she shot Ulmuka a glance of curiousity. What WAS he?

Muka started to giggle himself as Aislin circled him and even more so when she sort of fell into him. Of course she was a ghost and barely weighed a thing.
"I'm a strix." He puffed his wings out just a bit with pride, of course not too much! He didn't want to knock anyone over. His head once more tilted as the ghost girl flung herself onto another boil. He had no feelings about it whatsoever except that it was awfully nice that she already had so many friends!
Then he smelled it. Even if his preference was for FEAR there was no denying his primal owl urges. His head turned, facing almost all the way behind him. His nose twitched and his teeth clacked again.. and again. Oh he was excited.
His body turned to fit the orientation of his head and the owl-like teen eased his way over to Sybaline and the other boy. He put a lanky arm around Syb's shoulder, liking the way she tasted in the air but also because she seemed like she wouldn't mind. He didn't know her at all but to him, this seemed okay.
"I smell mice." His eyes stared at Joachim and his teeth clacked once more. He looked like he would devour the boy any minute. "Hello." His smile grew again. "I'm Ulmuka, you can call me Muka if you like. I don't want to interrupt.. but I also like your clothes... and I smell mice on you." A giggle slipped between his teeth.

Syb looked up at the boil from before, cocking her head slightly before getting distracted by his words. "Mice? Oh, I LOVE mice! They're so adorable! Do you have one with you?" It really was a shame that he didn't remember where he had gotten his clothes, though. She would have LOVED to have gone shopping there, oh the notes and ideas she could get from it!
"And I'm hoping to be a student here, one day. Doctor says that I need all the book learning I can get. I was so excited when I heard about this open house thing! Are you here to look around, too?" she asked, aiming the question at both of them.
