“Well I wish you great luck on your endeavor and hope they don’t put up too much of a fight” Hijiki replied. She then raised an eyebrow in mock disbelief at his manly comment but just to play along. She thought Amun was very dashing and nice. After all he had kept his promise and come by to say hi again. Secretly that meant a lot to Hijiki who hadn’t been able to keep many friends over the years. Then he had to go say that line about screaming and she nibbled on her lip to keep out the giggles. Seriously she would be okay having grown up in a family with very little girls. Her mother came from a same sex pairing and her siblings where all girls. “Alright I shall try.” Now on to fishing.

"Oh don't worry... You don't know it but... back where I come from I'm known as the terror of the seas." He smiled seriously. "I can catch more fish then any other phim in my homeland." Of course he may have been exaggerating... possibly... just a little bit. He was good at catching fish. "Good luck to you as well." With that he took to the skys to see what he could catch from the lake.

Hijiki caught three fish, two for herself and one just in case Mr. amun’s own fishing adventure didn’t go so well. Having gathered the fish she quickly bounded over towards the beginning of the forest in search for tasty herbs. Finding the one she wanted she grabbed them and then sighed. Flying all this stuff would be a bit tiresome. Where was that human bag she had found…. Ah there it was. With an excited swish of her tail she gathered all her stuff together and went to go find her lunch companion.

Amun smiled as he watched her go then looked over at the lake. After planning on what he was going to do he took to the sky and made his way over the lake. He moved around the lake for a wile keeping an eye open for fish coming to surface. Finally he spotted some fish and took a dive straight into the lake and came back out with three fish. Smiling he landed and looked at his catch.
"Well that didn't take to long." His tail wagged as he looked up and looked around for Hijiki.

Hijiki adjusted the bag and began walking towards the lake. After all that was where Mr. Amun said he was going to be fishing. She hoped he had as good of luck as she had although during this season it was really hard not to catch fish. Spotting something Maroon and gold off in the distance she slightly picked up her pace to come and meet him. She was really happy as it would be the first time since she was a little kit that she had eaten lunch with everyone.
“Hi Mr. Amun, you have a good catch as well?” She called out finally closing the distance. “I got us some herbs and stuff they’re in the bag. I can see why humans make this things, they are very useful.”

"Hm?" He looked up with a mouth full of fish to see that Hijiki had come back. Along with her was a rather curious looking thing. It seemed to have something inside it. It looked rather useful in his eyes and wanted to say something about it but his mouth was full. Of course before he could talk he had to swallow his mouth full of fish, which he did. "Oh um... yes..." he blushed. "Sorry... I... i was going to wait for you but my stomach... kinda took over my brain... So... um... what is that device that hangs from your shoulder?"

“Hmm I think it’s called a bag or something like that. I found it near the edge of a city just thrown on the ground. Since no one seemed to want it I thought it would be useful for carrying things around” Hijiki pointed out. “I thought we might want to flavor some of the fish so when I got the herbs I stuck them in the bag with my fish so it would be easier to carry them all over to you. I’m glad I found it, the other day it disappeared on me. Ah well that’s okay, everyone gets really hungry at some point right. I don’t find fault with you eating nope nope” She smiled.

"I see." Amun smiled. "Well that is a great idea. your little bag will come in handy to carry things." He then tilted head head and thought about adding flavor to his fish. "Adding flavor will most defiantly make it taste better... and I've never done it before so...." He smiled. "Alright. Lets do that... lets flavor the fish."

Hijiki smiled and reached into the bag taking out the different herbs. “It tastes better when you can cook the fish a bit but fire is really hard to come by” Hijiki admitted, but she was glad she could show another new thing to Amun. It was really fun to show him stuff. “Oh I think I can find you a bag as well if you think it would be handy as well” obviously it would have to be a cool looking one and not one with flowers like her’s was.

He sat down next to her and watched her take the herbs out of the bag. Hijiki was one interesting phim. She did things others didn't... and thats what he liked about her. She was different and the many things she had come to show him came in handy. He was happy to learn another thing from her. "Its too bad we don't happen to have a friendly Daeva nearby we could borrow fire from." He chuckled. "You could?" Looking up he smiled at her when she said she could find a bag for him. "I would like that. It would certainly make carrying things if I need too much easier."

Hijiki had to admit that Amun had a really good point. After all with a daeva setting a fire would be easy. However did she even know a daeva? hmmmm "Well I know one kind of but they aren’t around at the moment, they went off traveling or what ever Daeva’s are prone to do” Hijiki replied with a weak smile. Her smile rebrightened up as amun told her he wouldn’t mind having a bag. So of course she had to get him one. “hmmm now where to find one. Well there is a small little human settlement. I can check near the edges to see if they’ve discarded one, but now we need to finish the fish, after all we cant let them go to waste” she nodded.

"Ah... you know a daeva?" He looked a little surprised then smiled. "Well I sure hope they are more friendly then the ones I know..." He chuckled. "The ones I know do not like me vary much... I never really want to know why..." He trailed off. "Human settlement?" When she mentioned that it got him a little worried. "You don't... travel to this... human settlement do you?"

“Hmm I think maybe Daeva’s are all grumpy because everyone gives them a bad reputation, and when you have a bad reputation then you start to become grumpy for real.” Hijiki mused, “of course when you’re all grumpy most of the time you don’t like hanging around other people so maybe that’s why they don’t like you. Just because you where there. The one I know is half phim, he’s a very nice daeva although his mate is a little cranky.” Hiji admitted “Me go to a human settlement, oh heaven’s no. I just some times skirt around the edge of the town. I never go into it. They might shoot those fire stick things at me. I heard from others that it really hurts when your hit.” She tried to reassure.

He thought about what she had said. He had never seen it that way but now it all made sense. She as right. If he had been given a bad reputation he himself would act that way even through he normally didn't. He understood now. Looking at her nodded with a smile that had a slight nervousness to it. "I guess I would feel the same way if someone told me I was grumpy all the time. I guess the way people treat you often rub off on you huh." When she mentioned that she didn't go into the settlement he felt much better. He knew that some humans were not so understanding and that some would possibly kill foxes that entered their homes.

“Well some times it did. When I was little a bunch of other foxes liked picking on my older sister, she was a normal and she was rather shy and withdrawn. I tried to go help her since she was my family and everyone turned on me and started bullying me. It got really bad and started affecting my health so I went out to live with my grandmother over here.” Hijiki pointed out pushing a strand of her hair behind her ear. “So I try to see why people do stuff before judging to conclusions. Now enough sad talk lets go see if we can get you one of those bags” she replied with a smile. Hijiki tried hard not to be down for too long after all there was so much to do in life, it didn’t due to be depressed all the time.
