"Damn I really shouldn't have taken so long on the road to get here... and Saikoro and that kid must already be here too." Koji thought to himself as he hurried through the streets of Lightning Country, not particularly taking in his surroundings as he was already about to miss the cut off point to take part in the chunin exams this year. Almost breaking out into a run as he knew that the deadline was quickly approaching Koji began to shove the event goers out of his way, with some oddities within the crowd catching his eye such as gourds and other large objects, each of which seemed horribly out of place upon some of the people. With only minutes left Koji was determined to make it into the exams and hopefully seek out Saikoro or someone else in his squad before anything major started to take place.

Meistu was running so late she had taken to much time looking around, she heard the announcement and quickly began to run as she did she instructed her clone to lead Zagula to the viewing area. Meistu continued to run as she made sure to have everything she was going to need she had seen a few other countries being represented, including Leaf, Mist, and Sand this would be interesting apparently there where new lightning ninja she had yet to meet since she had seen other people with the lightning symbol walking about.
Meistu hurried to the gate and listened to the instructions that where being given but she wasn't paying to much attention however as she looked around at what was going on around her and looked for the viewing area to see if Zagula had made it.

Hayato looked around the house while Shizuka had given them a quick tour of where they were going to be staying during the exams. After the tour, she stated that it was up to them were they stayed in the house and also about participation sets in the front gate. He shook his head signalling that they never got the sets. This was no big deal to him right at this moment, although seeing these sets would be nice. It was then Kai who asked the question of what did they want to do. As much as some relaxing recon would have been nice, he knew that he was in need of some training. He kept quiet though for now until it got a little too silent or someone spoke up. Mayu was the first to voice her opinion though which wasn't all that normal from what he knew about her. She was generally more lax, or shy. This didn't help though that Hayato himself was socially awkward when it came to wording things. Ether way, it seemed like she had no intention on training right away. This was fine enough mainly due to the fact that they'd had a sparring match two days before even getting here and then there was the day and a bit trip to this location, so rest seemed like a good idea. How ever though, a loud voice called out through the village stating that the first part of the exams were now starting. This caught his attention right away as he quickly looked over to Mayu/Aya. "Looks like relaxing is going to have to wait a bit.... Lets go Mayu and show them what we can do." He waited for her to come with him as he started to run off into the direction in which they were told to go. He made sure that he didn't run off too far ahead of her in which she would require her bugs to track him, but still running at a good click.

It was finally beginning. Still clinging tightly to the Meitsu clones whole arm Zagula was led to the viewing area of the Exams. Though she couldnt really tell how the whole thing was set up since well she couldnt see. Though from the feel and sound of it she assumed it was kinda like a stadium or coliseum like thing. For a while Zagula sat quietly griping the end of her skirt tightly in anticipation. She wasnt sure what to say or do. From what she could tell it hadnt really got under way yet but was very very close. Not knowing much else to do she finally blurted out "Go Mei-chan! Kick b-butt!" She yelled it as loud as she could down in the direction the clone had faced her. Assuming she had been faced in the direction of the gathering ninja. The last word had come out a little hesitantly and she was a little embarrassed about it. She usually never said anything like that despite how common place it was but it was just something she never really said. Though now that she thought about she probably didnt even have to have yelled it so loudly. More than likely Meitsu could have heard her through the clone that was sitting right beside her. This made her all the more embarrassed about the whole thing. To late now. All she could for now was to hope that Meitsu would come out of this alright.

Mayu smiled a little as she heard that the exam was starting already, she smiled and followed after Hayato with a smile on her face as she grabbed herself, before heading out the door. Once at the main gate Mayu took some time to head over and collect her participation set from one of the people at the main gate, she also made sure to get directions to the room, just in case she got lost, as she went onto the exam.Shizuka and Kai smiled to one another as they head off to the veiwing area that had been set up for those who wanted to watch the exams, and they look around at what would be a nice give for them if they passed the exams. Saikoro chuckled softly, his shoulders rolling to loosen up the muscles as he grinned wildly at his midget companion. But it was only within that very moment that the voice was heard over the loud speaker, the first exam was to begin momentarily and that would leave the duo with no time at all for their spar. "Heh, guess we're gonna have to call a rain check then.." The man said with a heavy sigh, his facial expression dropping to a slight sulk as he pivoted on his heel and started walking the direction mentioned in the announcement. It was starting to get on his nerves that every time he wanted to spar or do anything that would allow him to have some excitement and enjoyment, there was always something that got in his way.
"Anyways, I guess I'll see you at the testing area then~" Saikoro said before vanishing from the scene, it wasn't in him to wait for the kid to make it to the testing area. He was short and slow and it pained him terribly to keep pace with Kira as he was long legged and extremely fast, it irritated his body to no end to move slow. But that all worked for the best for him as he quickly arrived at the scene of the exam, the room being occupied by only a few other participants and some proctors.
It was an interesting sight to say the least as he watched the proctors watch the table in the center of the room mainly and the genin with scrolls from the table all watched each other with an eye of suspicion. The moment Saikoro entered the area all eyes were on him, watching him intently as he picked up his own scroll and followed the directions to open it. With a chuckle he tossed the fading scroll to the side of him, letting it roll open just enough to reveal one final word before disappearing completely... "Reaper" With a grin spread across his lips, Saikoro left the room quickly before any of the other participants could enter as well.
It wouldn't be for a few hours later, the first exam finally getting well underway with participants still arriving, that Saikoro returned back to the village of Gryu'jiong. His hair was a sloppy mess and his clothes were littered with rips and slashes but his body overall was fine as he strolled through the still busy village. His bright blue eyes flicked this way and that in bored interest in the conversations around him and it wasn't long before he found himself back at the hut where the large gathering of shinobi were still talking as the test went underway. With a yawn he shoved his sword deep into the ground before him and used it's hilt as a resting prop, "So who are you routing for?" The man questioned towards the two girls that were nearby watching the hut as well.

Zagula jumped a little surprised by a sudden voice. What surprised her more was that it was directed at her. Well he was probably speaking at her and the clone not realizing the second girl was just a shadow clone. She tried to turn her head towards the stranger showing that her eyes were bandaged over. "Uhm...I-im cheering for Mei-chan here." She said titling her head towards the clone that she was clinging to at its arm. "This is her shadow clone she left me as a guide. W-without her id be lost right now." she said nervously explaining that the girl with her was a shadow clone. She was very nervous this was obvious by the tugging at her skirt and her trying desperately to make herself out to be nothing special. This was the first time Zagula had dealt with anyone aside from her teachers and Mei-chan. She didnt know what kind of person this stranger was and she was very reluctant to say anything about herself or Mei-chan. She didnt want to give anyone who may be up against Meitsu. Though she soon realized that she had just told this person that Meitsu could make clones. She almost felt like kicking herself in the pants for that one but at the same time it was more than likely unavoidable. Meitsus clone didnt seem to speak at all and seemed to only act as her eyes and almost nothing else. This pained Zagula greatly. Though she wasnt about to show it. "What bout you?" She asked in response. Unsure what else to say. Now that she thought about she didnt even know if he was participating. Maybe she was just being skeptic.

"Mei-chan? What's that short for?" Saikoro questioned with a soft chuckle, how was he to know the nicknames of the people participating at the exams today. "That's nice... It's a pleasure to meet you Mei-chan~" Grinning he turned his head to face the girl but the smile faded as he looked at her bandaged eyes, a pain stabbing at his chest as he did. She was blind, much like his brother, it was an unwelcome reminder that Sorain still existed or that he existed at all... As far as the man was sure of, his brother could be dead and if that was the case he did not want to remember him at all. The sorrow was too much even for a killer like himself. "She doesn't talk much, does she?" He said in a slightly strained voice and weak laugh.
Turning his eyes back onto the crowd of testing shinobis, Saikoro let out a soft cough. "I'm here for a few friends from the Mist Village. Kira Moto, Kyuzaku Hoshigaki, and Hibiki Inuzuka." He said simply as he leaned more against the girth of his blade until the large weapon was so deeply embedded that he couldn't shift it anymore from just his body weight. Pushing off from the hilt, he shifted around the blade and slumped down against it so his back could easily rest against it as his eyes stared off lazily at the hut. "Heh, how rude of me... By the way, my name is Saikoro Daisuke, some like to call me Dice."

"Huh? Uh oh! Shes concentrated elsewhere so shes not...fully...linked to her clone...right now." She said the disappointment obvious in her tone of voice. She desperately wanted to be next to the real Meitsu. Though she purposely ignored Saikoros question about what Mei-chan was short for. She wasnt about to tell her friends full first name to this person without permission that would have been just plain rude. Though she didnt mind giving her own name. She wasnt participating in the exams and wasnt going to work on any kind of rank or standing with anyone other time soon. Giving a proper bow in the direction she thought he was standing based on hearing she introduced herself. "Oh my name is Zagula Murakami. People have called me Zagu or Zaggy. I know theyre kinda boyish nicknames but i dont mind." She told him with a cheerful smile. It was the first time she actually ever got to introduce herself to who wasnt from her own country already. Though she wasnt sure how he would react to her first name or her nicknames. She knew her name was unusual and the nicknames sounded boyish so she wasnt sure what to expect.
Now that it seemed that their conversation was going to contune she had the Meitsu clone take her closer to Saikoro. Now standing in front of him at her full imposing height of six foot seven. "Saikoro Daisuke? Uhm do you mind if i just call you Sai-kun?" She hoped that would be ok with him. Dice was an ok nickname she figured but it sounded to fake to her. Like a stage name or something like that.

Saikoro chuckled softly as he bit his lower lip and grinned at the girl's words, "Nah, I think it's a really nice name~ But I think I'll stick to calling you Nechan." The man said with a grin, his bright blue eyes flickering over to her with a gentle smile as he watched her rise up to her feet and have the clone lead her to stand in front of him. Bringing a hand to his brow, Saikoro leaned his head back to look the girl in the face. He was far from being intimidated from her height, it wasn't something for him to be worried about and from the events that he had gone through his life it wasn't likely that anything could intimidate him... But he couldn't deny that her height was definitely impressive, especially for a female. It wasn't a far stretch that it was a fearful factor for any who decided to oppose her but he doubted that it was something to last if her kind nature was revealed.
The man was on the verge of standing up to help her sit beside him so she was no longer blocking his view of the exam when the girl mentioned calling him, Sai-kun. A jolt shot through his system and into his heart for a moment, causing his entire body to be tingling with surprise but it slowly surpassed as his senses came back to him. "That's a first, I suppose. Sure, why not. Doubt it'll catch on though~" He said with a chuckle and a strained grin. "Anyways, why don't you sit down? You can use this as a back rest~" He said softly, offering his blade as means to rest as he shifted over for her.

"N-n-n-n-nechan!? But uhm I uh...ok." she stuttered in shock her face blushing red. Did she mishear him maybe? No that wasnt it. But why refer to her as a sister? They just met and it didnt make any sense as far as she could tell. Did they look alike maybe? That wasnt impossible she guessed but at the same time she couldnt see to know. She was going to protest but had decided not to. This was her first friend aside from Meitsu that she had ever made and she didnt want to make anything complicated. Though she smiled slightly knowing that she was allowed to call him 'Sai-kun.' Dice just sounded to fake to her. Anyone could realize that wasnt a real name. though she was surprised to hear that she would be the first to call him that. Though it made her a little happy too to know that not only had she made a friend but one which she had her own special name for that no one else called him by. When Sai offered a place she was about to accept but froze in place suddenly. While she was blind she could still remember what all she was wearing. Among her unusual layered clothing was her skirt. While the purple back area came down to her ankles the wine colored front part that was detached from the back covered just enough. She had always been safe from flashes because they were so high up and above the winds but sitting on the ground? Any sitting position that didnt involved a chair could wind up flashing a little of under her skirt. "Oh uh! No no thank you! Im fine standing up." She said her face blushing red yet again. Though she felt bad about declining his kind offer she just couldnt risk it nor could she mention to him why.

(Lul, obviously Dice is not my name, he said it was his nickname xD )
Saikoro simply shrugged in response, "Suit yourself, but if you don't mind could you... scooch a lil to the left?" He said with a soft chuckle, hoping not to sound rude as he leaned to his own left to see around her and back at the exam. She had just stood directly in front of him and considering the time he had came from after he had finished his own exam he was pretty sure that this group's test would be finishing in just a few more minutes and he was slightly curious as just who Kyu, Kira and Hibiki were going to end up teaming up with. "You sorta blocked my view, sorry..." He explained as he allowed his eyes to shift from his fellow comrades to the others that were in the room. Currently there was three note-worthy females in the exam, one that had drawn a crowd to herself without doing much but sitting down, another that was energetically bouncing around without doing much of all that pertained to the exam it seemed and the final that was gathering a small group of her own.
Out of the three there, none were 'Mei-chan' if considering the fact that clone was to supposed to look like her. With a soft sigh, Saikoro let his eyes rest on the clones and take in the details of her. "So... what happened to your eyes, Nechan?" 'Five foot, light weight, bright blue eyes, grayish brown hair.' "It's recent, right?" 'Muscle tone is light so it's possible that she's capable with Taijutsu but not particularly spectacular in it. Then again appearances can be deceptive when it comes to skill.' "Oh! I'm sorry, that was rude of me... If you don't want to talk about it, it's fine. I'm sorry." 'It's possible that she's either Nin or Genjutsu heavy... If she's been sustaining a clone for this entire period of time, it's not a far stretch that she could have a decent supply of chakra or simply regains it fast enough... She certainly looks vital enough.' "We can talk about something else, if you please..." He said softly, his voice dropping out of embarrassment of possibly saying something that was a touchy subject for her. His eyes switching away from the clone to back to the hut as his thoughts continued race around in the background. He had always found that thinking on multiple subjects, conversing and preforming tasks were simply second nature for him and when he was younger had taken the ability to be something anyone could simply do. It was a surprise when it was revealed that very few actually had the capable mind to actually juggle so much at once.
"Hm..." He muttered out as he finally spotted out what looked too be Mei-chan in the exam. She was simply standing to the side of the room idly, her eyes focused on the shinobi before her... a dark haired kid that was just as tall as the girl before Saikoro, his build however was more slight. He couldn't tell much more then that at the distance but he could see that he was also drawing a crowd to himself. "So Mei-chan is the follower type? She seems like she's letting that other guy in her group do all the work for her."

"O! Im so sorry!" Zagula exclaimed giving a slight apologetic bow as she moved out of his way. Pulling the Meitsu clone out of his way with her. She wasnt sure what he was wanting to look at that was past her but it prolly had something to do with the ongoing Chunin Exams and his teammates. Though when he brought up her eyes she was reluctant to speak. Not because it bothered her or that it traumatized her but because her teachers had thought it wise to not let anyone know about it unless absolutely necessary. Apparently though Saikoro misunderstood her reluctance as offense. "N-no its alright! Really! I just." Her head dropped a little to hide her slightly reddened face. Hiding her embarrassment. "Y-youre just the first person ive ever talked to other than Mei-chan and my two teachers. So im not really...sure. How to do this." By that she meant how to converse about such matters. She wanted to be able to share secrets with close friends but this was the first person she had ever talked to aside from her best friend and two teachers. So she wasnt really sure how to go about doing it.
Though the next words out of Saikoros mouth made her hair bristle. "Tha-that cant be right! Mei-chans not like that! I know! I know cuz shes always. She must be a little tired from having to do everything for since I...since I lost my sight. Thats all." Her face was redder now. Embarrassed from having burst out like that. But she couldnt help it. She didnt like what Saikoro had said about her Mei-chan.
