A smile came to her face and she opened her eyes again. She watched him do his paperwork (finally! XD) and sighed. "I feel out of place here. I don't know why though. Probably because I'm a newbie." She said, toying with her kimono sleeve.

He only should his surprise by raising his eye brows in a 'Oh?' like expression. He was a tough love kind of teacher and rarely gave his students praise to their face. For when he did, the student would surely feel like rays of golden god are coming down upon them. He flipped a page on a file that requested a shipment of various weapons. 'Eh, over priced crap' he cursed in his mind, we could find cheaper and better quality weapons if switched to this merchants house. Marketing was not Luo's best attribute, though economics was a tactical use. LT wrote down his recommendation to the advocates and flipped the page. "Every one feels out of place at some point, you just need to find your place here. Find your rhythm and make some friends, you will find your place soon enough. Then with time, this place will be part of you, and wont be the same with out you. Give it time, and don't time trying to make friends. And trust me, it will be easier for you rather than some other people i know." He took another sip and ordered another bottle of sake. "So Kairiku, do you have a nickname? Something shorter?"

Not that it meant that much to her. "Yeah, I guess so. Wise advise Sensei." She said, watching him work on his papers. "Well, I have a few. Kai, Riku, Kairi, Rhyn are the ones I like best," She said, "You may call my whatever." She said, eating and drinking some more, finishing her tea.

He chuckled as another bottle of sake was placed on his table. "Do you mind if I go with Kairi on your profile? I would go with Kai, but we already have one of those being a lazy bum around here some where." Tares laughed as he scanned the crowds as saw the innocent people people enjoying the night with the fireworks lighting up their face.

Make sure you live up to it." She said, ordering another tea. "Go ahead. Besides, you can't complain about him being lazy. It's a festival. Today is the one day we can actually be lazy and enjoy everything." She said, looking around as well, but more at the sky than at the people, watching the fireworks light contrast against the dark of the sky. She propped her head up on her hand and continued to watch the sky burst with colors.

"The festival is the first productive thing I ever saw him do." Tares chuckled knowing that it was not true. "Eh, I love them to death, those boys are my commitment to the future, but both him and Yamatano are lazy bums, look at this, not a mission in months. Lazy bums! Just like their teacher." The Jonin ordered some more rice and beef dumplings after taking another swig of sake. He sat in silence a couple of seconds as he read a few pages and jotted a few orders, requests, and notes. Finally he flipped to Kairi's file and sighed deeply, "So Kairi, what are your elemental attribute, and what mist style do you wish to study under?"

The teacher is responsible for how they turn out." She said. She watched as he wrote stuff down and flipped to her file. "Suiton is my main one now. Mist style? I'm not sure yet. What do you recommend?" She asked, wondering how he stood all the paperwork he was assigned to do when the Mizukage was away. It would've driven her insane within the first hour.

So yes, I can blame the students." He jotted down more notes and scanned a paragraph thoroughly. "Well there are two main fields of study for the Mist styles. First is the way of the silent blade, it is used by our hunter ninja and is based with stealth. The other is the Standard mist sword style, which is not for the faint of heart, its is based on swords, speed, and strength. Its up to you really, the front combat, or the stealth kill."

"Hmm.....that's a tough decision. But my family isn't one that has much strength. I suppose stealth would fit my style more anyway. I'll have to think about it a little longer before I decide though." She said, returning her attention to the sky. It really was magnificent, how the sky lit up. She finished her dumplings and drank some more tea, feeling unusually relaxed.

Chuckling lightly, Kaizen removed his hands from Yamatano's shoulders, choosing to cross them across his chest as he said in a playful tone, "Well, perhaps if it hadn't been a festival I wouldn't have noticed so easily, but when you're the only one not wearing a kimono, you tend to stand out, haha. But let's not skulk around in this alley, come, it's time for us to enjoy the festival!" Walking forward, Kaizen patted Yamatano's shoulder as he passed, making his way back onto the crowded street. As he weaved through the crowd, Kaizen looked over his shoulder and said with a mischievous smile, "I don't suppose you know where they're keeping the fireworks do you?""... but sometimes, the right choice isn't always clear." [chakra: 66/68 (forgot to put it earlier when I used the jutsu)]
