I go to a medium sized catholic church called Saint Mary of the Mills. It's been remodled to fit the growing number of people. I haven't gone back to see it in a while (Bad me I know..) though. Before it was remodled, at the 9am mass and later, you couldn't find a parking spot nor a seat in the whole church! It was crazy but I love my old pastor. He was very cool but sadly he retired a few years ago.

I'm Mennonite Anabaptist Protestant Christian. We've got a Satuirday night service and a Sunday morning service. All told, about 350 people weekly. We've got a kid's church, the Christian Service Brigade, Pioneer Girls, and a close relationship with the nearby school. We also hold a carnival at the end of June with another Mennonite church (which is actually within a five-minute walk), plus various other events either as a partnership with or apart from the nearby church throughout the year with the same community outreach focus.
And none of this could have ocurred without the hand of God!

My church is a Brethren in Christ (BIC) it isn't that big but i've been going for 13 years and i'm only 14 so I think it's the greatest. It's really grown, especially the youth organization and it's space (we used to have service in a banquet hall above a fire house). It's the only church I want to go to.

My "church" is nature. There are thousands of us worldwide who worship nature and its bountiful beauty.
But since this seems to be a thread about Churches in the sense of God half of my family is Catholic and they have many a person in their cathedrals, and other half is Lutheran and they have a couple hundred in their little churches. I was baptised ten years ago in a Lutheran Church (ELCA) that had 60 members. I hated it.

Maribell Alexander I go to a church of christ where I live, my family has been going to the same church sence my mom was in high school. I hate it. My youth group is so single minded. As christians we are suppose to go out to those who do not know God and spread the word. But they are so caught up in their own lives they won't. They only care about themselves and the people in our church. It is said that how can you be a christian if you can't stand christians. This is the point that I am at now. Don't loose hope girl! I know what you mean, but God will plug you in with people that will be good for you smile I've went to probably over 50 churches in my lifetime and only 4 youth groups. Out of those 4 only 1 i've really felt like i belonged, but for awhile my parents wouldn't allow me to go. It was so difficult especially at that time because i was going through a whole lot of crap in my personal life. But my parents said it was okay later and yay smile Just try and at least be the one who is different. I know how hard this can be, really i do. But if nothing else, God is crying because he is so happy that at least you took that stand! Please pm me if you ever need to talk or vent or whatever. I'll be more than happy to help/listen smile The sunday morning church that i go to with my parents is kind of pentecostal/non-denominational. They don't really move in the spirit like they used to, so it's a little quieter. The church has about 300-400 people in it. The youth group that i go to is Methodist and i've been going there for 4 years and they have between 25-30 people going. I absolutely love it...i only wish sometimes they were more open to the spirit :/

I go to a Lutheran Missouri Synod church called Out Shepard of maybe 500 people. It's nice, good preaching and all that jazz, but I don't really click with anyone there... cause everyone is either 20ish 30-somethings or really old :.

Mine is the size of the cosmos. God does not live in a manmade building. I stopped going to conventional church a while ago.

I'm an atheist... but I have been to several churches. I've visited more than a few Baptist churches - one with maybe 60 people on Sunday, and another that is well over 800 - I have been to a Protestant church and a Lutheran one.
I tend to like the Protestant churches more, even though my family is strictly Baptist.

Christian... Protestant... Evanglical.... Pentacostal Thats most likely what you would use to discribe me. My church isn't the building, but the people. I don't attend a "church", I watch on the TV sermons with my family. I'm always watching Adrian Rogers, Joel Osteen, Life on the Way, i used to watch Bob Coy a lot, but they took him off Daystar cry
If not that, then it's us having a good old fashioned Bible Study
I wouldn't mind going to "church" again though. We never found the time since my parents worked at night and my sister is autistic
but we manage biggrin

So get out of bed, step off your rooftop... I go to Memorial Baptist. Its a pretty great church. Of course thats my opinion. Im not sure how many people go. I know that the congregation has lessened in size after the release of the last pastor from the church, but its still going well.
Quote: Our continuing desire is to foster wholesome relationships both within our local body, as well as bring people to salvation in Jesus Christ as a result of our corporate and individual witness to a non-Christian world. In brief, Memorial is: Relevant teaching of the Word Spirit-filled worship and praise Ministries to the family Worldwide missions ministry Evangelism and prayer Cross-cultural ministry Im not sure about all of the ministries in the church but it does have a great youth and college ministry. smile And I love that the messages are getting through to people. . Its nice to see people getting saved during service.
and just look around, hear the sound of God.
