Rasha was found hanging around by the scruff of her neck by Anya. She looked onto at the meat that was laid out not to far from them. Pure instinct told her that she wanted some of the meat, but didn't understand why she had to wait for it. So she continued to whine every now and then because of her empty stomach.

It wasn't until Akin gestured to Anya to go ahead and eat that he heard Kichea's words. He stared, dumbfounded. "Cubs?"
The fact that he had made cubs with the lovely black female was slowly sinking in. He found himself grinning widely and his silver eyes gleamed with happiness. "We have cubs?"

She nodded. "Well... not yet... but soon... I can feel it." She smiled shyly. "Are you upset with me?"

"No, no I'm not!" He showered his mate with nuzzles and purrs. "I'm happy that we're having kits!"

Kichea purred loudly, the feeling of a giant weight being lifted off of her seemed to make her very happy. "I am glad..." She said to Akin, licking his muzzle affectionately.

She had put the cub down with the King's permission and slowly feasted herself. Looking over at Akintunde and Kichea, she grinned. "Cubs?! That's amazing! I'm happy for you two." Anya smiled over at the pair then bowed. "I guess that means you are the new Queen then miss Kichea?" Anya then raised her head and tilted it slightly in question. "I almost forgot to say welcome as well. Pardon my ways.."

Rasha happily went over to the meat pile and took her pick of a nice chunk of meat in her jaw. She ripped around and tore off the meat dragging it to an empty spot and started to chew the soft sweet meat

Queen? Kichea puzzled over it. Was she? "I'm... not sure..." She looked to Akin, wondering what that would mean. Surely, Kichea was no queen. Elli, Rackna's mate was a queen, she was enchanting and wise, Kichea was neither, and rough around the edges to boot. "There's no need to appologize, If anyone should, it is I. I don't beleive I even know your name..."

Akin watched the two females. He hoped they got along, seeing as how he would be confronting Rackna soon for Kichea.
Leaving the two to talk, he prodded the white cub he had found earlier towards the antelope. "Go on and eat, Jalara."
The tiny cub mewled, following the rich scent with her nose. The carcass was regarded with something along the lines of curiousity. Tiny paws played in the red meat before instinct told her to bite and chew. It tasted good!

Rasha was full, the meat had filled her up quickly. Just like a newborn baby she wanted to sleep. She looked around for any warm places to rest at instinct tells her to sleep by her mother, but she had no mom to go to. So the young baby stumbled around into a small corner and curled up there sleeping by herself.

"No need to apologize, Kichea. My name is Anya. It is a pleasure to meet you, and I hope that you will be happy in our pride." She smiled then looked over at the cub she had brought over earlier. Anya didn't want the little one to grow cold, so the lioness curled her body around the baby. Anya was beginning to feel slightly tired herself. "Well...I apolgize, but I'm feeling weary. We can talk later..." Her voice trailed as she slowly closed her eyes, maw resting near to the cub. Her tail tip stopped near to her mouth making a little ring. Her breathing was normal as Anya slept peacefully.

Kichea smiled as Anya fell asleep. It was then that she retreated to Akintunde's side, nuzzling him as she settled down. "How are your wounds doing? Being gentle?"

Akintunde turned a full-fledged pout on his mate. "They itch!" He murred, shoving his head into her black shoulder. "I want to scratch them."

Kichea smiled at him. "You can't... if you do you'll open them back up and you wont heal for a long time, and this itchiness will come back." She nuzzled him with a loud purr.

The large male continued to pout but listened to his mate and left his wounds alone. God forbid that he come across any hyena from now on. At one time he had no particular feelings towards them, preferring to leave them alone as long as they left him alone.
Not anymore.
Once they had tried to attack Kichea all nuetral feelings had disappeared.
