Tabby took her seven year old daughter up to the swing set and placed her one one of the swings while Tabby took the one next to her. The young mother smiled as her daughter went up and down and the mother only rocked back and forth. "Mama when is daddy going to get here?" The second grade child asked. She couldn't wait to see him. Tabby smiled at her daughter. "Not sure." She answered. "I want to show daddy my report card." The girl added.

I'm The Siren Prince, Seth SolindoQuietly, a young man walked into the large park with two surprises in either pocket of his light coat. His hair, along with the scarf he was currently wearing, was able to flow freely when the slight breezes ruffled their way through the air at random. The day was calm besides those sparse drafts, leaving a warm smile on Seth's face. He was going to see his daughter today, and unlike most visits, the child's mother would be there as well. His steps carried him smoothly through the different terrains set into parks; sand, grass, gravel and woodchips wouldn't bother him when kept underfoot.
Eventually, he reached a set of swings, where two females rested, one a pink-haired woman; the other a brown-haired girl. His smile widened brightly once it was clear who the girl was, his beautiful and gracious daughter, Yvette Kent. She looked healthy, her adorable face only showing that her mother cared dearly about her. Yet...a second glance swept over the witch, causing a brow to raise momentarily. Tabbitha seemed thinner, perhaps the family was struggling more than was necessary. After all, the Solindo's had plenty of money to spare, especially when his daughter was involved.
Clearing his throat, Seth figured that he was overreacting, and calmly took a few more steps before kneeling down, opening his arms to greet the child while speaking to both. "Hello ladies."

"Daddy!!!" The girl called out before jumping off the swings. She ran over and hugged her father like she was a grizzly bear. "Daddy, daddy. You have to see what I got on my report card." The girl said before pulling out a piece of paper with a bunch of numbers all over it. Her magic class had a nice fat red A next to it. Tabby slowly got up. She was a bit weak so it took her a moment.

I'm The Siren Prince, Seth SolindoSmiling softly as a hug was recieved, Seth returned it as his daughter exclaimed proudly. His eyes moved to the paper in her hand, and he nodded when a large 'A' caught his gaze. "Oh wow, I'm so proud of you Yvette!" He scooped the girl into his arms, glad that she hadn't gotton to old yet. "I bet you get that from your mother's side." His sentence caused another glance to Tabbitha, his eyebrow furrowing for a second as he studied her movements. He looked back to his daughter, a bright smile reappearing as he added, "Now, tell me more about this class you've mastered?"

Tabitha knew that he got at least that right. She hoped that her daughter would never be like her father. The young mother got up from the swing and for a second it looked like she was going to fall back until she truly got up. "It's Math. I also got an a in my classes." She commented to her father. She was a good A student. "Mama said that you can buy me an ice cream as a prize." She added. Telling her father that he was paying. Tabby finally got up to her daughter and grabbed onto her hand.

I'm The Siren Prince, Seth SolindoAfter another brief glance to Tabbitha, he was alble to return his attention to his excited daughter. He squeezed her into another hug as he spoke, "An A in math? I think I've got a genius for a daughter." Setting her back onto her feet, he nodded with Yvette's following words, his brow raising curiously. It wasn't like the witch to automatically pawn off a payment due to her prideful personality, not that the prince didn't mind; he had plenty of currency to pay for more than just ice cream. His eyes flickered up as a thin hand grabbed the child's, silently studying the woman. As he stood, he made no mention of his thoughts, and happily expanded on the idea of a treat. "Hm, that is a thought...But wouldn't my princess prefer a full meal out followed by dessert?" While he wanted Tabbitha's approval, it was clear that he was waiting for his daughter's answer.

Tabby looked at Seth before grabbing Yvette's hand. She didn't look at Seth. She was avoiding his sight. "That's fine." Tabby answered in a low voice. Yvette smiled widely. "Yay!" The second grader called out. The girl grabbed her fathers hand before pulling them towards the cafe that was there in the park. "Mommy can that Mr. come and eat dinner one day with us too."

I'm The Siren Prince, Seth SolindoWhile he was able to stay quiet, Seth's suspicions were rising. There was something bothering Tabby, and it annoyed the siren to realize that whatever the problem was, she felt no urge to share with him. He nodded to his daughter, flashing a smile as she cheered and the three started walking. His hand held the girl's protectively, making sure that she wouldn't run off in pursuit of whatever may catch her eye. His quiet shell wa sinterrupted by the child's question, causing an automatic glance of confusion toward the witch. "Mister?"

Tabby knew who her daughter was talking about. "A model." Tabby answered. She hadn't told Seth about her modeling yet. She already had some photoshoots in woman's magazines, but her next step was probably in a mens magazine with barely anything covering her. "Vetty that mister is really busy. But maybe you'll get to have dinner with him later." She answered her daughter. "Okay mommy." She responded. "Daddy when are you and mommy getting married?" Tabby slapped her cheek. Yvette was going to a way to conservative school.

I'm The Siren Prince, Seth SolindoListening with interest, Seth allowed the witch to explain herself and answer thier child softly. So, it appeared to him that Tabbitha had finally moved on, and was dating a model. That was interesting, considering that to extent of his knowledge, she had nothing to do with the entertainment buisness. His small smile wavered slightly at the girl's curious question; while he had expected the question to form eventually, he wasn't entirely sure how to answer.
Quietly, he spoke first to the witch, wondering why she would react so strangely to the question. "Tabby," he began, putting an arm out to stop the woman and gesture that she should step aside a moment. "Let me answer?" He continued walking, answering in a way that he hoped would satisfy the child's questions. "Daddy and mommy won't be getting married, hun. Marriage needs something that we don't have, something you'll understand better when you're older." He nodded once, affirming his statement as closed; at least until he had time to speak with his ex privately.

Yvette looked up at her father. "Don't treat me like a little kid." She huffed. "Mommy said if you love a person then that's when you make make babies. You guys made me so why wont you guys get married and Aylin said that if two people love each other that they get married or mated." It was a vein attempt for the little girl to feel like she was just like the rest of her classmates. Her friends had parents who were married or mated. Why couldn't she have parents like they did? Tabby let out a sigh. "Yvette, your daddy and me are not meant to be because your grandpa will pick who your daddy marries and daddy will not be marrying a human." Tabby answered. Yvette looked at her mother. "Then why doesn't daddy run away and marry you. You said love finds a way."

I'm The Siren Prince, Seth SolindoSighing, he looked between the two, wishing that this conversation could be delayed until much farther in the future. As it was, Seth found it strange to speak about such things in front of Tabbitha, knowing full well how incompatible they were. His eyes almost rolled at the mention of Aylin; she was born out of wedlock as well, but unlike his daughter, the parents were still intimately close.
"People do have children when they're in love, but sometimes they fall out of love. There's no reason to be married or mated then." he began, trying to formulate the words before they would be spoken. The last thing he wanted was for Yvette to find his answer to be strange and incorrect when it was the truth. "Daddy can't run away from responsibility. Your mother and I have discussed that we aren't meant to live together." Looking up from the girl, he opened the door to the cafe, hoping that Tabby could act as a better speaker.

Tabby noticed her ex's glances. "Already tried." She commented to him meaning that she already went there with Yvette. "But daddy you can take us with you. Mommy's job is fixable and so is her school stuff and I want to live with both of you." Yvette continued as her mother started to order the food for Yvette. She didn't want anything. Not wanting much else and a bowl of mac and cheese with a bread stick and a lemonade. She then looked at Seth to see if she wanted anything while he try to explain things to their daughter.

I'm The Siren Prince, Seth SolindoWith a huff, Seth continued his attempts to make Yvette understand something that he wished she wasn't so curious about. He glanced up briefly to order a latte and cut of lasagna before sitting down across from Tabby. Not used to his ex's eating habits, he wouldn't question her choice of food, but found it to be surprisingly empty. Returning his attention to his daughter, he cleared his throat, choosing to tackle one question at a time. "I would like that very much." he said softly, remembering when he'd discussed this topic with her mother. "But it wouldn't be right to you or your mom. I promise that when your older we'll be able to do that." Nodding, he flashed a bright smile as his next thoughts inked into his following words automatically. "However, I want you to visit very soon to meet someone special."
