Anues

Anues remained silent until Charles addressed him. His eyes met the Mew's slowly, hardly fazed with the comment. The Gardevoir merely closed his eyes with a soft nod. "Find me whenever you like." was all he said before the small Psychic teleported.
Silence fell again and Anues' attention turned to Aire respectively as Raith spoke. Her response only made him frown, and he looked up at the Garchomp upon the female's rude exit. When Raith too took his leave, Anues' attention fell forward for but seconds before teleporting off himself. There was something he felt the urge to check up on.

Anues -- Alice

Anues teleported the two into the upper level of the bar—avoiding anyone downstairs for both of their sake. Alice didn’t need to know that though. Not yet, at least. The Kirlia blinked her eyes quickly, adjusting to the change in dimness unlike her brother’s as she looked about in curiosity. Anues on the other hand merely walked over to Aire’s couch and sat down with a common mellowed expression as he watched her.
“Is this where you work?” Alice asked into the open as she walked about, examining what she could despite her height. She giggled quietly after a moment, making Anues’ ears twitch. “It’s a bar, Anues.” “I’m aware.” It was bleed out and die or sell his soul to Aire. He took the latter. The Gardevoir slouched forward, leaning his arms against his thighs as his eyes carefully followed Alice. “It’d be wise not to touch anything.” Alice nodded, still not making eye contact with her brother. She instead approached the doorway and glanced at the stairs. Something prodded her to advance, but she retreated back into the office unfazed. Alice promptly went back to exploring as one of her small hands reached up for her retrieved necklace and ran her fingertips along the chain.
“So where’s this other Gardevoir? Do you work with or for her?” “For. She left here shortly before I met up with you. I imagine she’d be back soon.” Anues gave an annoyed twitch at all the questions, though it was expected. He hardly had the patience to trace Aire anymore though. He merely found her when needed given they were separated. “I see… What’s she like?” Nice thoughts, nice thoughts, nice thoughts—“She’ll like you, don’t worry.” “I hope so…” Whoever this Gardevoir was continued to peck at her mind. Alice saw this Gardevoir before—more than once. She was always with Anues too. They seemed so different, but Anues was always so lax. That didn’t change, at least.

Aire---Thorn

"...and they fixed it pretty quickly. Glad you took out insurance on the place."
"I know what I'm doing, Thorn. This isn't the first bar I've owned."The door opened to familiar chatter, a Roserade making comments while a Gardevoir ridiculed each one in turn. Aire and Thorn got along fairly well if only because Thorn knew how to ignore the majority of her friends bitchy tendencies.
The two stepped into the room, neither noticing it being already occupied until Aire, in her usual manners, slammed the door closed behind them.
The older Psychic's eyes flicked towards Alice for a brief second, only long enough for her to register someone she'd never seen in the room before.
"Aneus, what have I told you about strangers in my-" Her attention drifted back to Alice in mid-sentence as the Kirlia's appearance began to tug at her mind.
White body, pale lavender eyes, hair that was offset gold in contrast to Anues' silver.
Aire blinked rapidly, one of the rare times she was taken by complete surprise.
The moment passed and she stepped towards Alice in what looked like a threatening manner, Thorn tensed in preparation to save the Kirlia, but all was well as the older Gardevoir suddenly clapped her hands in a girlish delight and made a sound akin to a 'squee'.
"Oh my Arceus, you're the CUTEST THING EVER!"
Cue glompage. Thorn slapped a flowery arm to her face with a sigh.
"I want it."
"Aire, you can't own other Pokemon like propert-"
"I have Anues, I want her too." It was a set! <3<3<3

Anues -- Alice

Anues hardly responded to the two making entrance into the room. His eyes merely met the two before drifting off back to Alice. He said nothing. He just waited for Aire to register the situation. Alice on the other hand snapped around in place to meet the two females. Her large eyes gave a curious blink. That was the Gardevoir, she was fairly sure. It only took the Kirlia a moment to switch into a bright eyed smile. “Hello!” Anues sighed. At least she wasn’t scared senseless. He listened to the remainder of the conversation in silence before blinking, his expression twisting into mild annoyance. “Excuse me?” Maybe he did sort of ‘belong’ to Aire but hearing it was odd, to say the least.
Alice’s eyes darted between Anues and Aire before resting on the tall female again. “I’m Alice, Anu’s older sister. It’s nice to meet you—I like your eyes.” She took a quick glance at Thorn then. Anues didn’t mention her, but they were friends or something, she assumed. “Hello!” It sounded identical to the first hello. The Kirlia went back to staring at Aire with an all too excited expression.
“She’s with the guilds. I found her shortly ago.”

Aire---Thorn

I'm sorry, Aire can't hear your senseless chatter over the cuteness that she is now currently on the floor hugging.
Thorn shifted uneasily. Aire didn't act out of character often, but when she did it made for some awkward moments. The Roserade was at a loss as to what to do so she gave Alice a curt nod before stepping over to Anues and giving him a swift pat on the shoulder as though to say 'just ignore her'.
The comment of ownership would come across as rude mostly, but from Aire's point of view it wasn't intended to be. She was naturally a possessive person and to be considered 'hers' was along the lines of being considered a worthy friend or asset.
The Gardevoir had never been the best with word choices. Her vocabulary consisted of little eloquence and a plentiful array of curses.
"Older sister? That is cute~" If anyone's wondering Aire is still losing her mind over Alice.
You may need to get a crowbar.
"How'd you like to work for me as well~?"
Okay, Thorn was stepping back in now.
"Aire. Look at her. She's a Kirlia. Old enough or not, this isn't the line of work for a Kirlia." Arceus, help her. She was pretty sure Anues hadn't given Alice any details on this place and Thorn wasn't going to allow it.
"She's cute~"
"She looks 12. Stop that. Bad Aire.''
"Hrmph."

Anues -- Alice

Anues glanced at Thorn as she approached him. Naturally his attention fell back on the two females less than a moment later. He passively listened until the question of his sister working for Aire. “I refuse.” Like hell she would-- … She would. The Gardevoir gave a sharp glare at his superior. Alice, of course, took the opposite route. She was consciously aware she was with the guilds but she was living in the moment. Alice was excited. “It sounds fun~” “No.” “Why not?” “I said no.” Alice pouted. She knew her brother knew better though. But then why was he here? What’d they do? “Stop thinking about it.” And then Alice’s mental walls went back up. This is why he didn’t want to bring her. Alice insisted though.
The siblings made quick eye contact before their attention fell back on Aire again. “How did you guys meet anyway?” Anues tensed. His posture straightened as his eyes fell back on his sister, though he remained silent. Getting her memories back or not—it was still 18 years of history.

Aire---Thorn

"It was a joke, lighten up. We have no openings anyways." Aire rolled her eyes before finally letting Alice go. Anues could be such a stick in the mud sometimes. This line of work wasn't entirely bad, but she did see the point regarding Alice. Big brothers were overly protective, Donny use to be the same back when her boys were still Kirlia.
The older female frowned at the next question. The Kirlia was just changing the subject, but she'd seen Anues flinch out of the corner of her eye and reacted accordingly.
"That? That's boring, old news." She waved a hand, dismissing the question entirely. "Thorn, do we still have tea or do you need to make a new pitcher?"
Taking the question as a subtle 'go away', the Roserade nodded once and turned to trot out the door.

Anues -- Alice

Alice gave a puzzled look at her dismissed question as she stepped away from Aire. It sounded simple enough to her, but she didn’t dwell on it. Anues merely gave a relieved breath. “We’ll cover that eventually.” His glanced over at Thorn as the Roserade took her leave, and Alice trotted back over to her brother. She promptly hopped up on the couch and sat next to him, her eyes meeting Aire again in clear curiosity. Anues’ fell back on Aire no later.
The differences in expression could have been humorous.
Both of them were expecting a question game. Alice mainly because she’d clearly never been spoken of. Anues’ thought process wasn’t far off. Aire never would have known of the Kirlia’s existence had she not requested to meet her.

She looks familiar.

She has a son.

Really?

Alice opened her mouth to say something and Anues promptly gave her a light shove with a simple twitch. Alice instead trailed off into a giggle that her brother merely frowned at. Their attention remained on Aire the entire time as if nothing ever happened.
This could be less awkward for the siblings.

Aire---

Aire couldn't help but stare at the two of them. The alikenes was almost unnerving, but the differences seemed to make it worse.
As far as she knew, Anues had no one before he came to stay with her. A sister, now that was interesting. Aire didn't expect anything like this. The past few days had been somewhat stressing, to say the least.
The Gardevoir raised a hand to her face and peered at them from between her fingers.
"So, which one of you wants to start explaining?"
It was ask this question or continue hugging Alice, who was possibly the most adorable thing in existence, and Aire was already designing Kirlia-sized outfits in her head.

Anues -- Alice

Their heads lifted attentively as the question was posed. Anues was the first to dull as Alice quickly looked up at him. Her attention fell back on Aire shortly after as Anues sighed. “I have a sister. There’s no catches—same exact parents.” Now, how to start this…. The Gardevoir leaned back on the couch in thought as his sister kicked her legs lazily.
“I was born 9 months after Alice. Our parents apparently didn’t want a boy, so I took off once I was ready to. I lived with a neighbor since for a few years and Alice visited frequently. One day we got into a fight, I thought I killed her, and that was the last time I saw her.” He fell silent. “No point in mentioning the dead.”
“Actually, I lived it. Anues unthreaded my mind, but thankfully, I still knew how to breathe. That and a number of other necessities.”
“Then I spent some odd years learning to control my psychic and eventually bumped into you.”
“I left home shortly after Anu did. I was fine, by that time, but I couldn’t really remember anything—there were gaps in my memory. I saw Anu a few times in the guild. You too, but I wasn’t sure it was really him… I was going to have someone find him for me so he knew I was alive… I didn’t know how to approach him myself… After 18 years, who would?
“We have the same necklaces though.” “It sounds more like a proof of existence.” Alice giggled.
“When I evolved though, I remembered everything. I’m not sure how. Anues found me shortly after that and well, here I am.”
The two stared at Aire upon finishing. It was short and simple, but details weren’t really needed either.

Alice turned back to her brother after just a moment. “How did you meet?”
Anues frowned. He left that out on purpose and assumed Alice to merely look over it. Apparently not.
“We met after that fight I spoke of prior.” Alice’s head tilted, recalling the conversation back with Ethfael. The Kirlia frowned. She stood up on the couch and rested one of her small hands against her brother’s cheek without really thinking about it. Anues gave a startled blink. “What happened to your eyes?” She couldn’t see her own reflection anymore. “Trauma.” Alice’s expression darkened at her calm sibling. Her eyes narrowed as she moved her hand away and went to poke his chest instead. He flinched away and grabbed her hand instinctively before contact could be made. “You idiot.”
His eyes met Aire again, ignoring his sister's glare at him for the most part.

Aire

"Settle down." Aire groaned, sensing a fight about to break out. It'd be a rather passive fight if any. Anues would probably just ignore his sister for the most part and she'd idle about in cute anger.
The older female had listened, though showed no actual interest. They'd given her the brief and quick version, any gory details had been removed and she accepted that.
She was thankful only that the next question hadn't been 'and what about you?'.
She was certain she'd have lost her temper if it had been asked. Aire was a very private individual.
Aire continued to watch them bicker it was very much what usual siblings did, though she only knew off-hand.
She'd been an only child, but having two boys had never been peaceful.
Still remaining silent, some very deep and private thoughts began to surface and she felt a lump build in her throat as she struggled to maintain her composure.
What'd changed, she didn't know. But something had surfaced again and she felt an overwhelming surge of unhappiness build.

Anues -- Alice

Alice froze at Aire’s orders and promptly stepped back from her brother before sitting down again. Anues merely straightened himself. Subconscious differences settled in when Alice gave a curious blink in response to Aire’s behavior. Anues seemed completely ignorant. Did they do something wrong? The Kirlia just glanced over now. Something welled up in the back of the Emotion Pokemon’s mind though. Something or another was wrong but she didn't know what. “Aire, are you okay?”
Anues glanced at Alice, then Aire. He was overall puzzled, but that neutralized quickly. “I do believe this meeting is ending soon, Alice.” Just in case Aire was going to go into an episode. Alice frowned. She knew she’d bump into them again sooner or later, but she felt bad. Aire just seemed to change completely.
Of course, she also assumed that burst of excitement was normal.

Aire

The older Gardevoir didn't answer immediately, not trusting her own mind to control her mouth. She worried if she opened it she'd just let it all out in one overly emotional meltdown and that wouldn't do.
"I'm fine", she finally said, managing to sound more calm than she really was. "But I do think it's best you head home now, Alice. We open for business in another hour and tend to get some unsavory customers early on."It was a very blunt and subtle 'GET OUT' and 'Protect the cute!' at the same time. Aire had skills.

Anues -- Alice

Alice looked between the two Gardevoir as they spoke. She knew there was something more to it, but she knew better as well. She smiled after a moment then, nodding.
“Of course, Aire. It was nice meeting you.” The Kirlia bowed her head before glancing at her brother. Why, was overall clear. The Gardevoir teleported his sister back to the guilds—being all too far and tiring for her to do it herself. His attention never left Aire in the process. Something was wrong, he caught onto that much-- even if he was an impaired Gardevoir. Sometimes things were too obvious.

Aire

Aire closed her eyes briefly, considering what to say. He'd want an explaination for sure, but she didn't know how much of one to give.
After a long pause, where she didn't seem to blink for the entire time, she sighed.
"Sorry. Just thinking about the past." She'd been doing that a lot recently and it was highly upsetting.
She never thought back before, Aire kept her past and present seperated entirely. That wall was cracking though. She'd worked so hard on it too, for no reason it seemed.
"I never really...connected...with either of my sons." And now look at them. Donovan was gone, Alfred was...he didn't even recognize her.
A smile graced her face for a brief second. "They use to bicker like you and your sister just did. Alfred was always so passive, his brother liked to pick fights and goof off." The sentence didn't seem to really hit her until she realized it was the first time she' said her sons name in a good 10 years.
The realization opened up another flood of emotion and she folded her arms tight across her chest to restrain a sob.
