Shira raised an eyebrow at Astrayl's boldness, but she followed him into her own backyard anyway. "You do know that some people would think you impertinent for walking through their homes and into their yards without permission," she said. "You're lucky I'm lenient in that respect. As to why the meeting is to be held in my home, I do not know either."

"Ha! If I actually cared about how people see me being a warrior would be ten times harder. Besides I feel comfortable here, guess its from coming by so often." He looked around their garden while sitting on the bench. "Your estate is so much prettier then mine. All I have in my backyard are weights and fighting arenas for my students. None have showed any signs of being a whisperer yet. I hope that changes soon." sighing, Astrayl sat back a little and stared into the sky thinking about what life would be like if he was born into the wolves rather then the bears.
"Oh and I think the meeting might have been chosen here because your area is the easiest to get too. The plateaus around my country are filled with bandits that I have to take care of. The Drace live to far for the Rams and myself to travel." It was only speculation but he thought that might have been the main reason.

__________________________________________________________________________________________ ~Marnie~ Marnie headed for the door outside even as it swung open - her parents, arguing as usual stopped on the steps when they say her.
The gleam in their eyes made her blood run cold, but they didn't see that.
She plastered on a completely false smile - the only one they really knew "Welcome back." she stood aside to make room for them.
Her analytical mind immediately took flight as to what they could possibly be thinking of. Whisperer business ten to one she concluded.
"Well that's what a Master was for "...she thought, "to take care of whatever her parents had in mind...unless of course they were planning on trying to use her talent as some kind of selling point, instead of an actual task. "
She'd deal with it in the end.

As Astrayl looked at the wolf whisperer's backyard he wondered how she kept it so clean. "Tell me, how do you keep this place so neat and clean.?"
His secretary was already running through a bunch of paperwork because now he had to get back in the carriage and travel to the Drace estate to pick up the apprentice for the meeting.

__________________________________________________________________________________________ ~Marnie~ Why the silence?" she asked, knowing her observation might throw them off their game. They hated being easily knowable.
Her mother quickly put any such notion out of her mind, which lead Marnie to believe what they had to discuss had nothing to do with selling time with her whisperer powers.
"Uh oh." Marnie braced mentally but didn't quite know what to expect. Though her stoic face showed no sign, other than the non-commital mask Marnie usually used for these occasions.

Shira smiled, chuckling. "It is a hobby of mine. When I have no other duties to perform, I join the servants in cleaning and gardening around the estate."

((sorry about the hellish wait. Lost my motivation))
"Really?" He was a little surprised. A lot of the nobles he knew seemed to hate cleaning or any manual labor. His family was quick to use servants. "I tried cleaning once, I broke five brooms and put a rather large hole in the main house's wall. Of course they weren't too happy with me, but its not like they could say much." He smiled taking in all the beauty around him. "I prefer your estate over the others."
Toki was in the carriage and soon arrived at the Drace estate. Moving quickly, he ran out of the carriage and knocked on the doors of the main house. "Hello, I am the head secretary of the bear clan here to pick up the apprentice whisperer."

__________________________________________________________________________________________ ~Marnie~ Uuuuhh..." slipped out of Marnie's mouth before she could help it.
"Where's cousin Dragana?" she asked meaning the actual whisperer of the Drayce clan. The person much more suited to actual performance of any whisperer task at the moment.
Marnie had only recently been caught using her talents and thus made whisperer apprentice. She had plenty of experience with her powers - but not with the expected uses of them as per the Drayce family's beliefs. Dragana had been more than kind in starting her training, but she was certainly hard to get to know. Though that much was understandable what with her scholastic history and her father's unending parade of suitors and demands.
Marnie had been trained in a much more typical Drayce family way, with a focus in math, economics and business tactics. Proper etiquette had only been part of the curriculum as the particular child's parents warranted (though her mother had been a harsh mistress in proper place settings, manners and general niceties.) Even so she felt she flagged as apprentice in manners to Dragana who was almost icily perfect.
Still back to the matter at hand, where was she?. Clearly her parents saw this as an opportunity for Marnie to prove her worth (and therefore theirs by association) as a whisperer and possibly even a chance for Marnie to surpass Dragana early. Though the girl herself rolled her eyes at the thought, as she knew plain as day that no one just skipped over training, and Dragana could teach her until the day she died and Marnie might not learn all she knew of the spirit world.
Still it explained their smarmy grins.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Toki" Marnie said facing the Bear representative " I am unprepared for your arrival, what duties exactly am I expected to perform at ...wherever it is we are going?? So that I may prepare appropriately I mean." She added hastily at the end.

Shira smiled at Astrayl's surprise, then she laughed softly at his comment. "Thank you. The Wolf clan is famous for our artwork, and that extends to our estates."

Cruel dark clouds loom just above the bow and the torrential rains begin to fall Lightning and thunder hack up the sky with blazing blades As dragons fight to win the night
Dɼagaɲa Єadgyσ Dɼaycє Dragana Drayce stepped coolly out of her gray carriage in front of the Phelan family's great manor and approached the door. She was pleased at managing to convince Shira to hold the meeting at her estate. The servants led her into the beautiful garden to where the Algernon Whisperer Astrayl and Shira sat, chatting in a seemingly amicable fashion. The servant announced Dragana's presence, and she moved toward them with icy grace. "Thank you, Shira, for opening your home to us. I see your gardens are as stunningly beautiful as ever."She moved to sit near them and added, "The Bramwell house will not be sending a representative to this meeting. Their Whisperer is currently unwell and required his apprentice to stay near to him." Her features were composed in a suitably sympathetic expression as she relayed the news. "Shall we begin then?"

Shira turned to see the latest guest to her estate. "Ah, Dragana. Welcome." She shook her head at the news of the Ram Whisperer. "I am sorry to hear that. Any way, yes. Let us begin."
