...Okay, this deja-vu was getting really, really weird. Frowning in confusion, she did get back up, did get back in line, and did it all over again. Though, this time, she looked completely baffled the next time she sat down in front of the ghoul.

The deja-vu was still great, and the little Vetala promised herself that if it happened again, she'd just leave. This feeling was too strange and she just couldn't wrap her head around it...
This time though, the deja-vu ended with something edible hitting her, and with a baffled squeak she pulled the remnants of food out of her dark hair, and got up to leave.
Well, that was odd.

It seemed highly coincidental to Bul that there were so many people attempting yet freak accidents kept them all from winning. He observed Jericho until the dragon had finally won and then proceeded to converse with Levi. Turning his head he smiled. It was good to see that he hadn't taken the chair falling in as any sort of malice. Bul was certain that the first time his tail wasn't the culprit. Every which incident after that was a complete mystery. It could've even been a minipet squirming about the feet of the other students waiting in line.
After Jericho came Petro, another fitness club attendee. Unfortunately he too had bad luck with the stool only Bul could see as the horse boil charged away that he had been picked on by gnomes. Even the Vetala ghoul was having trouble.
"Sheesh Levi, are you just summoning all this bad luck or...?" he shook his head. Maybe he really just beat all the gnomes by being first in line? Bul considered trying again just to see but waited around the line to see who else was up for the challenge.
((I might have him roll again next post but not for prizes or anything just IC))

The she-wolf grinned as the boil gave a small bow. Such a gentleman! And she was determined (if only to sate her curiosity) to figure out what sort of canine creature he was. Without seeming rude in the process. LW figured she could always ask. "Pleasure to meet you too!" She glanced over at the stand and the white haired ghoul. Ah! Arm wrestling. It all made sense now. The ghoul seemed to be doing pretty well too. Or the dragon boil was just having an off day. "Friendly arm wrestling, eh?"
LW turned back to the two boils, violet eyes glancing down at the pup. "Awe, come on pup! I bet you have some hidden strength in you." She ruffled his hair and winked. "I might try it. Gonna watch a few more people have a got at it first though. Of course if Jove here wants to try it with me..." The she-wolf gave him a sweet smile. If anything, she was getting entertainment out of watching everyone else try.
"And what about you?" LW eyed the boil. "You gonna have a go at it?" A pause and then she had to blurt out, "What sort of canine are you, if you don't mind me asking?"

Damien was quietly watching everyone steeping up to test their mettle against the over exhuberant ghoul. Frankly he was more interested in the bowl on candy that was near all the wrestling, sneaking another finger into the bowl to grab a hold of a morsel to nibble on.
His eyes caught the sight of a couple of students he never really noticed before, Petro whom he saw here and there in random areas, but the ghoul, the ghoul he never saw before. Her legs were the more interesting part of her figure considering that the hellhound couldn't even bend his own limbs in such a manner. He did pause to wonder if he could ask her more about herself and her limbs, but there was always the chance she was sensitive about the subject. It could wait for another day.
Right now it was strength and candy....... and pies from the look at it. He did look around to see where the assailant could be, probably a mischievous gnome, be that as it may, it was unforgivable. He paid close attention to the ghoul who had such excellent manners, like the ghouls he knew from home. "Yep friendly, 'cept for the odd stool and pies flying at people." he said before grabbing another piece to nibble on, holding out another piece in front of Jove. "Here, try one Jove. Oh, me LW? ah, it's not my kinda thing." he said simply, trying to not get goaded into trying it fom everyone, he could feel Levi's stare, waiting for him to sit down for a go.
Damien was still sure she had her trusty frying pan underneath there. The frying pan was surely behind all the odd things happening, it must have been possessed he mused to himself. "Oh I'm a hellhound LW, and you?" he asked with a tilt of his head and a ear twitch. There were so many canine student's here, he wanted to meet them all, might as well take the chance that came here.

The pup was relieved when LW arrived, his expression that clearly spoke of his nervous incredulity regarding Demi's suggestion. But, to his horror, LW seemed to agree with the taller boil.
Hidden strength... Pfffffft. Jove knew better than to believe in things like that.
His ears perked when what looked like an undead ghoul approached, somehow he hadn't met her before. Missing out on meeting another student closer to his own age would be a terrible shame. But she didn't look afraid of the arm-wrestling...
The pup's thoughts were interrupted when a piece of candy corn suddenly appeared under his nose. Jove gave Demi a slightly wary look, before taking it, giving it a good sniff, and popping it into his mouth.

She couldn't keep from giggling at him. "Odd stool and flying pies?" The she-wolf glanced around to see if there was something she was completely missing. But no, it seemed what the boil said was true. Odd was definitely the right word to use. She also eyed the candy he kept grabbing up pieces of. It looked good and she was never one to pass up something sweet and sugary! LW followed his lead and snagged a couple pieces, sniffing it before plopping one in her mouth. It was sweet and slightly chewy, but oh so good!
"Ah, a shame. Guess I'll just have to give it a go instead." The she-wolf caught the look on the pup's face and laughed. "What? I can't ask if you want to try it too?" Her tail swished and her smile was teasing. "Fine! Both of you. I'll go give it a shot for the three of us then. Not my fault if I lose." LW really didn't care if she won or lost. It looked like fun and she wanted to meet this new ghoul.
Before jumping into the line, she paused and smiled at Demi. "Ah, a hellhound. Definitely a pleasure indeed to meet a fellow canine. And me?" Her tail flicked. "I'm a werewolf." With another ruffled pat to Jove's head, LW jumped into the line to take a shot at this arm wrestling. When she was finally up, she smiled at the ghoul. "Hi there, nice to meet you!"

It was true that there were a few odd things happening. Levi stayed relatively clueless to the matters, but...figured she should probably at least check on the stool. She momentarily took a quick turn around the stand and crouched, checking on the wooden legs of the stool her competitors had been sitting on. Don't look suspicious er nothin'. The ghoul looked up at Bul when he mentioned her bringing bad luck. None that I know a. First time I'm seenin' food flyin' at ma opponents too. Shrugging, she shook her head going back into a stand and then bounced back to her seat. If there were gnomes running about, she hadn't seen them... yet.
Levi noted the pack of... kin to Demi?... the ghoul with the fluffy red tail and hair...and a shorter boil lightly speckled with freckles in the face. He was also sporting a fluffy tail worthy of a few good pets. She smiled whenever one of them popped a kernel of her produced candy corn. The ghoul then offered to try once for the whole of them. They had a swift bout, but the ghoul politely introduced herself right after the attempt. Pleasure ta meetcha! Names Levi; hope I didn't hurt ya none. Ya'll right? Always glad ta see a ghoul takin' the challenge. Specially in place'a a few boils. Levi gave LW a wink and smiled. She liked to poke fun at the fact that there were some ghouls in this school similar to herself; those willing to best the boils. N' that there is candy corn ferm ma very own crops. Picked 'em maself. Glad ya'll er enjoyin' em. If her expression could reveal anything to those around, it was that the white-haired ghoul was truly pleased as pudding that they were partaking it what she had made herself; her candy corn was her pride and joy.
Levi cracked her neck momentarily. Not out of discomfort, but making sure she was prepared for those in line.

There was something about the ghoul's good-natured goading that struck little Jove in a way that neither of the other canines' jests could. For such a tiny pup he had a huge and rather delicate pride, and the suggestion that LW was going to fight his battles for him just rubbed him the wrong way. Not that he was offended by Levi, it just meant he now had something to prove.
He frowned, and stuck out his little chest in a way that said "I don't need anyone to stand up for me," and the moment the line had cleared he sat down at the stool. Jove was going to try this arm wrestling thing, and maybe win, and feel less like a little runty weakling. And then he realized that stool was too short.
He scowled over the counter, thwarted by his own diminutive stature.

Levi's ears twitched when the smallest of the canines came forward from the line. He marched his way to the stool only to sit in it and... be less viewable from across the way. He at least needed to have a good place for his elbow to rest over the top if he wanted to give it a go.
The edges of Levi's mouth spread in a light smile and she gave him a nod. She wanted to show that she respected his choice to try regardless of his size. Afterall, Lizzy was pretty small... but had been the one to introduce her to the concept of the fitness club. Small wasn't the issue... the will to fight; this is what Levi wanted to see in her new schoolmates.
Don't take it personal none. Just wantin' ta fix somethin'...
The ghoul perked around behind her seat and grabbed a sturdy wooden box. It looked pretty heavy as she carried it around the stall with both hands, dropping it to the side of the stool with a -thwank- on the ground. Gesturing for Jove to stand for a moment, she placed the box under the stool legs. Have'a seat? ... Looks about right now She nodded in approval at the current leveling and bounced back around to her own seat, ready for some arm wrestling.

All the oversized grumpiness left Jove's demeanor as he watched Levi's expression. It seemed she was pleased, but... not going to fight just yet?
His good ear perked, his bad ear twitched forward slightly, and he watched as Levi pulled something out from behind the stall. He began to have second thoughts about this whole thing, if she could haul a box that heavy out... He doubted he could even lift it. But he was still going to give it a try.
Giving up now would be even worse than having not stepping up in the first place!
With a frown that was a little more forced and a little less determined, Jove clambered up onto the 'fixed' stool and gave the game his best shot.

So what if she hadn't won? It had been amusing to try. LW wasn't one to turn her nose up to a little friendly arm wrestling. She blamed her brothers for that. All the years of dealing with all of them had made her skin a little tougher. Plus, she got a chance to meet this new ghoul. Meeting someone new, couldn't really beat that!
"Levi is it? I'm LW. Nice to see a ghoul out beatin' the boils around." The she-wolf giggled and glanced towards the two boils as Levi spoke about them, mentioning that LW had taken the challenge when the boils wouldn't. "Can't say I don't find it amusing to try and best some of the boils." LW agreed with a grin. And the pup's reaction had another giggle escaping.
"I may come back for another try. It was fun." LW told Levi as she stood to clear the way for the next person. "We should hang sometime too. I'd especially love to see these crops of yours. They are quite tasty!" Giving the ghoul a small wave, LW went to move out of the way, only to have Jove come strutting up. She quirked and eyebrow at him and stepped slightly to the side to see how the pup did, smiling encouragingly at him. When Levi brought out something for him to sit on, LW didn't even say a word. She knew the feeling. "Good luck, pup." The she-wolf whispered.
Boy did that pup show them. LW laughed and gave him a pat on the back. "Nicely done! And you were worried?" She teased him, giving him a small hug (which he'd probably give her one of his 'looks' for).

Yer more than welcome, LW. Dorm door's always open! Its amazin' ta know I'm not tha only rough ghoul 'round. Ma town ain't got rough ghouls save fer me. She nodded to show this was truth. Yer welcome ta have a'nother go too. She waved back when LW moved aside and went on with adjusting the stool and such.
The match with Jove was a win to the underdog. Levi grinned widely at the puppy boil and got up to lean over the counter, giving his hair a tussle. See? Yer stronger than ya know! Ya'll should be proud ya got that sorta drive fer improvement. One day, I can see ya roughin' up boils twice yer size with that sorta strength. She leaned back to her space behind the stand N' don't let any other folk tell ya otherwise! With a stern brow, she waved a finger as she said this. The boil obviously fought his shyness to attempt fighting for himself. That was winning for Levi in and of itself; then came the power to boot! She couldn't help but wonder if small hands had some sort of advantage in this game...

Damien didn't need a arm wrestling match to meet Levi, he already had his fill beforehand. But he wasn't going to stop other people from trying. but he wouldn't warn them of the frying pan however. That was simply something they needed to find out for themselves.
The other ghoul did pique his interest, the werewolf. She seemed to be pretty ballsy. "Never met a werewolf before." he told her, feeling his tail swish around. He did watch the match between the ghouls with a smirk at all the ghoul power going on, and felt for the werewolf, even if she was all smiles after the loss. "You'll get her next time LW." He gave the ghoul a pat on the back for the effort.
Damien was shocked with glee when he saw Jove leave his side to try his luck at Levi, the piece of candy corn that was in his hand fell to the floor as they were better used for cheering on the boil. And the Boil got it done. "Great job! Told ya you could do it!" the Hellhound cried out joyously before running up to give Jove another pat on the head.
Demi was so glad that the stool accepted the smaller boil, and no pies came out to hit him.

Jove seemed shocked at first as he wiggled out of LW's hug, he didn't think it would have been possible. He wasn't that strong! The surprise was followed closely by suspicion. It was easier for him to believe Levi had let him win. She could have taken it easy on him because he was smaller than the others, but her enthusiasm about his win seemed genuine, and he may not have liked the hair ruffling but it and her words made him feel a little... proud.
She even thought he could eventually stand up to boils twice his size? The pup looked around at the three of them congratulating him, and his tail gave a hesitant, shy wag. Maybe he could believe he actually won fair and square, at least for a little bit. It was a surprisingly good feeling.
