The woman studied the fight as she stood there silently. She glanced over at the young man who was speaking to Li about the male fighting. She had seen this man a few times, but the wallflower said nothing. There was nothing to say. All she could do was watch and hope that her battle would go well. The woman's mind was already thinking of different scenarios. But thinking and doing where two entirely different things.
"Grant me a wish, my master

I'd like to be a human
...maybe one day

Li turned when he heard someone addressing him, only to see a blonde man smirking in a confident manner.
"I believe that's a hologram, a younger version of the examiner (Allistair) maybe? I don't know the details though."
He didn't know Fenrir at all, and had only seen him a few times in classes. Still, he looked like he was a pretty capable fighter. Seeing Amara walk in and stand near them, Li turned and walk towards her with a small polite smile.
"Virtanen xiao jie, penny for your thoughts?"
He said as he dug his hands into his pockets and took out a can of Eclipse, offering one to Amara and Eric as well.

Mercutio looked at Li Zhen and Amara Virtanen. He then started to watch as Fenrir fought. "Sir, when I fight, would you allow me to use a true katana. Not this wooden one." He turned his head from the fight and looked at Allistair.

The woman looked over to Li and gave him a soft smile. She took the can gratefully and seemed to lighten up almost immediately. "Thank you Li. I am grateful." She held the little can and tapped her fingernail against it in a slightly agitated fashion. "I hope you are feeling better Li. We all got worried when you have that seizure in class...I went to speak with Mr. Akasun about releasing a product that could do such harm to the students. He seemed to think I was mad. So long story short, the man doesn't care. I suppose it was silly of me to think that he would. Of course, that just reassures me that no one will get far here unless they have friends to help protect them..."
The masked woman turned her head down. "I know this test is going to be for everyone, but I hope that you do well Li. Do not fail this test. I would hate to think of what Mr. Akasun does to those who fail." The woman felt strange eyes on her, and snapped her attention over to Mercutio. Once she saw him though, she eased up. This man had helped Li greatly, and she was still grateful for that.

Zane had wandered in the training room, wondering just why the heck he was here considering he didn't want the hassle. Seeing fighting already taking place, Zane walked over to the only girl he knew, which was Amara. "So what's going on," Zane sighed with a groggy tone.

Fenrir's blazing blue eyes seemed to sharpen as he faced Allistair's fiery kicks head on. He'd been saving this move for the right moment. He only had one shot, one opportunity for surprise. This was it.
Just as the kicks would've hit him, they went through Fenrir's body. It was like the Fenrir that had stepped into the kicks just disappeared without a trace. Suddenly Allistair would feel his shoulders being grabbed while he was still in mid-air. Unable to move his arms from the shoulder grab, and with all of the force in his legs being pushed in a different direction, Fenrir had grabbed him at the perfect moment as he struck from Allistair's blindside. With a simple shift of his body Fenrir tried the Hip Throw technique one more time, this time confident that it would work as he attempted to throw the mid-air and immobilized mirage headfirst into the ground with all of the strength he could muster. Whether the technique broke the mirage Allistair's neck or knocked him out, this technique would end the fight. Despite only knowing a handful of simple skills, and without any additional power from Gene-X, Fenrir was living up to his vow to progress only on his own power. "As Sun Tzu taught, all warfare is based on deception." Fenrir growled as he looked down on the body of the fallen Allistair mirage. "Even if you were this young once, I thought you'd have studied more."

Description: This throw works just like a crowbar, where your leg is the lever and your hip is the fulcrum. The trick comes right after the user grabs the opponent's shoulders, in which they have to pivet to position themselves in just the right place. If you're just an inch off your thigh and hip can require over twice the energy (D-rank) to throw the opponent. Performed correctly the hip throw requires almost no energy, yet it can deliver up to 5k pounds of force for D-rank damage and a possible knockout.

"I would think you would be more worried about yourself rather than I, Virtanen xiao jie. After all, none of us have been in a real fight since coming here, so we know nothing of each other's capabilities and potentials. I hope we rise to level 2 together though."
He still had the soft smile on his face, but his sapphire eyes were cold and dangerous, as though the "polite gentleman" side of him was merely a facade. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬ ▬▬▬

The older Allistair smirked, if Fenrir thought he had won, then he had another thing coming to him. Allistair wasn't number one on the Deadly Ten for nothing. His strength and quick thinking skills was what made him top of his class while here in Ludus. He looked at Mercutio, "You won't be fighting a younger version of myself, so you won't need a 'true' katana." Once Allistair's kicks went right through the spot where Fenrir had previously been, he had felt the hands of Fenrir on his shoulders, he did nothing. He let himself be thrown, yet all that could seen was a bright light coming from Allistairs fist. Once it seemed that Allistair hit the floor, an explosion erupted sending embers flying everywhere along with the grains of sand on the coliseum. *Feign disorder....and crush him.* He thought as he quoted Sun Tzu.
Allistair still had his arm on the ground from when he used his explosive punch to break the force of the throw in which Fenrir threw him. "Nice work you did there, using a style for cowards. Couldn't take on my hit like a man? Pity." He grinned as he stood back up. Exploding Fist Rank: C Description: Building up the fists with the burning energy, the user strikes a target with his fists. Upon impact the energy explodes, sending fire everywhere. Upon skin, it'll cause heavy burns but the explosion's power is very weak, only causing shallow wounds though if placed properly can be fatal. On metal it can punch a hole into it. 275-50=225

"I know it is foolish, but I cannot help but worry. I cannot claim to have any friends, but I still care for people whether I try to avoid it or not. Besides, I think it would be a pity if you died. Which is why I was so upset in the first place. I can speak to you easily. Granted, I have been able to speak easily about what I know to others, which was perhaps a mistake, but I will not think of such drastic consequences at this time. I cannot help but feel fear for everyone here, including what enemies have not yet been able to pop up."
She kept her arms crossed over her chest, suggesting that she was nervous still. Yet she was keeping alert to everything that was going on around her as her eyes stayed planted on the fight between Fenrir and the younger Alistair. "I have not taken the drug. I do not feel the need to take the drug at this current time."
As she heard Zane, the woman turned her eyes slightly and looked at him.
"This is our level up test. From the looks of it, it will be a one on one test with a younger version of one of the teachers." She cocked her head to the side slightly as she watched the fight continue. "Zane, this is Li Zhen, Li, this is Zane." Amara introduced the two politely, before returning to her conversation with Li.
"I do hope we will be able to level up together as well. It would be nice to be as close as we can possibly be while we are here on this island."

I'm curious though, who is this "enemy" that you sound so fearful of? We're in a school, and till now I have not yet seen anyone even remotely suspicious looking, if you don't count Akasun xian sheng. As for the drug, you're probably right, and even a week since taking the drug I have felt no special powers. Perhaps it was only a scam, I don't know."
He was sorely disappointed when he felt no special powers arise even after a week since injecting himself with the drug. The poster said that they would be like super heroes, yet all he could feel different was that he now had a strange liking for Eclipse breath mints. Whether that was a super power or not, he had yet to discover. He looked up when Amara introduced Zane to him, turning to the young man and giving him a traditional greeting, by putting his right palm over his left fist.
"It's a pleasure to meet you Zane, duo duo zhi jiao." (it means "let's teach each other" which is commonly said to fellow martial arts practitioners)
Li said with a polite smile, one eye glancing at the fight going on. The younger version of the examiner was strong, and Li highly doubted that he would be able to hold up as well as Fenrir is currently doing if it was his exam. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬ ▬▬▬

"Eye's lingering about." Amara moved her arm and pointed over to Fenrir. "I feel that he is going to be an enemy. I am always keeping my eyes peeled for enemies...That one too." She pointed over to Mercutio. "I think he will be an enemy of mine, yet he will probably be a friend of yours. There are many enemies lurking around here. And fearful? Fear and caution are two different things. I can't say I fear any of the mortals here. I fear the drug more than I fear the people.
Speaking of the drug, perhaps the effects will come later on. Or perhaps you need to do something that deals with the drug you got in order to activate it." Amara shrugged her shoulder lightly and turned to look at Li once more.
"But are the powers really going to be that special? Hmn..." Amara thought for a moment before speaking again. "Perhaps if a certain drug is able to allow me to use my music as a weapon, then I will use that one. I doubt I would be seen as a threat, which would work well for me."
