It's true, but the WWE would sooner admit that the Draft Lottery is fixed.

It just seems like the whole Core story is hanging on by a thread though. They were crushed at Wrestle Mania, they had some internal strife issues, and now they're having a difficult time with just one former member.

I think the last story to actually have some closure is Lawler v Cole, and that's just a return to normalcy. It used to be when the title changed hands or someone lost their rematch on clause we would start anew but no. Now we have to keep the same two or three guys revolving the title about.

I thought the crowned prince, HHH ended up settling that mess with Orton and the McMahons though.

I haven't really watched any of TNA. What did they do to Kong?

I do agree though, WWE does need to drop their useless wrestlers. They need to start using some of the guys they sidelined. Maybe add some new blood to the Titles? And for god's sake, get Alicia Fox to do the scissor kick correctly or get rid of her. Someone is gonna land in the hospital from that. I don't know where they found a clone of Batista, but use him or lose him. I liked watching Alberto Del Rio wrestle on Smackdown, but now he just cuts promos on Raw. What gives?

The only thing that bugs me about Cody Rhodes is that mask. If he's supposed to be hiding his face, give him an opaque mask. At least that way we would actually buy the facial disfigurement story and they could pull something with it later if he ever gets unmasked.

I also liked that hypocritical anti-bullying campaign. Bullying is at least 90% of WWE's kayfabe.

Oh, that's rich. Bubba probably couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper bag. Like any lazy boozed-up chauvinist racist hillbilly, he just used his show as a medium to try to reclaim some dignity.

I hate to admit it but this is part of why I liked the Funeral episode of RAW for Eddie Gurrerro. It was random matches the whole night through.

A real GM for Raw would be nice. I remember a few months back, I mentioned the mystery GM to my friend to which he exclaimed "They're still doing that?!" It's been more than a year now hasn't it? I also wonder why said mystery GM keeps putting Steve Austin as a referee when they KNOW he's going to interfere. Yet when Bret Hart did the same, nary a ******** was given.

I get that Cody's face thing is supposed to be mental, but the clear plastic mask just makes it seem like they aren't trying very hard. Yet they're also trying to play it up as some kind of weapon at the same time, which is just silly.

They'll have to have at least 6 divas so they can have a 6 woman tag match >.<. I agree though, they need the old women's championship title back. The Divas Title just looks like something they got off a Bratz sticker.

Yeah, Paul Heyman did possess an energy and an intuition about him that Theodore Long and that mac book greatly lack.

Ugh, I just saw that part. They could have had about half as many Divas out there at the time and the result would have been the same. Kelly Kelly can't wrestle. Just having her in the ring is a waste of our time, and the money of the ticket buyers. As a matter of fact, that match and the clips preceding it about The Price is Right, were the first thing to make me actually leave the room in irritation tonight.

It's been pretty good for a 3 hour episode otherwise. Which is surprising since episode 800 was absolutely horrible.

They need to give R-Truth a new theme for this. The silence is just unpleasant and disrespectful. The guy is supposed to be antagonizing their posterboy and he doesn't get a luxury that even the cameo jobbers have?

It's kind of ironic though, everybody else treats him like he's nuts just because he sees the writing on the wall. Though he fell victim to the trap like every other heel. You can't be a face and seek the WWE Championship unless your name is John Cena.

I'm a bit to pessimistic today to think it'll really go anywhere though. They haven't really tried to play up a decent rivalry in a long time.

It's a likely hypothesis. It's also too bad really. They used to have women who could be pretty, had mic skills, and could wrestle, but now it's all about the cheerleader reject just because she has the overly common bleach blond hair and bad spray tan. Maybe that's why they gave up on inter Diva-Superstar activity. Kelly is too flat a character to get anybody interested, Drew & Tiffany descended into domestic abuse, They probably figured they got all they could out of Beth Phoenix & Santino Marella, and Maryse & Ted DiBiasse jr. ended after like 3 matches.

Actually merch is why my friend figures R-Truth is gonna get canned at the end of this. He was messing with John Cena's merchandise. The merch is where John Cena gets his superman powers after all. Mocking Cena's fanbase and merch even got the Rock some heat, likely from the kids who were too young to have seen the Rock in his heydays but still.

Yeah, Cena was drafted to Smackdown during the draft lottery, but he was drafted back to RAW at the end of the show. Basically, they wasted two draft slots that could have been put to better use and wasted our time. I guess it shouldn't be surprising though. They use the draft lottery as an excuse to eviscerate Smackdown every couple of years anyway.

A little bit of cycling and mixing up title hands would be nice. Give some new people a push and an opportunity to strut their stuff. Unfortunately since Cena has that match with the Rock next year in WM for the title, they're probably going to continue the same stuff they have been until then. Ugh, it's gonna be a long ten months.

I think the only black guy to ever hold the WWE Championship was the Rock. If he counts anyway. His father is black. As for the World Heavyweight Championship, the only black man to win that was Booker T.
