Astra Was glad to see that maritess was alright, smiling back at her until she turned away. She had remembered seeing her before at the mushroom hunt, and watching her now she was beginning to realize that she was rather...nervous? About what, she wasn't sure, but she seemed quite nice.
"I hope I remembered everything" She said to maritess then, checking to make sure her nightcap was still in place. "I wondered weather I should bring anything extra..."
As she looked inside again, she spied a few ghouls she knew rather well. Lizzy was there, which was cool, and so was riley. Although...The fairy wasn't sure what to think of the mindflayers presence at the moment. The last time she saw her she had been knocked unconscious, so she did feel a little awkward. Netherless, she smilied at them both and gave them a friendly wave, shuffling into the room after the winged vampire and moved to sit on floor, her pillow at her side. "Hey Lizzy! ...um, how did the rest of the...paintball fight go?" Astra hadn't seen how Lizzy went, since she had separated after the initial orientation

Lizzy returned Tess' hug gratefully, smiling all the way even as she let her go, her hand immediately reaching to hold her friend's, fingers interlocking. She really hoped the ghoul wouldn't mind her being even more clingy than usual... If asked, she'll just make up an excuse about not seeing Tess for such a long time and missing her. Which is true too!
"Oh! Um..." She frowned momentarily; why did Astra have to ask about the paintball fight, of all things? There are a million other topics to discuss on a fine night such as this, but she had to ask about the one day she was trying not to think about... Her frown vanished as quickly as it had appeared, however, and she managed a chuckle as she held out her right arm, poking at a bruise that had formed on her upper arm.
"It was fun, despite the bruises... Did you enjoy yourself too?" She smiled sheepishly before shifting her position on the floor, trying to accommodate both newcomers. Of course, she was speaking the truth here; it should also be noted that the bruise came from Riley's rage paintball attack rather than from Petro's hits... It was something else she had been trying to ignore and forget, really; it wasn't worth saying down over!

Tess didn't mind twining her fingers with Lizzy. She'd grown comfortable around the spider demoness that any lingering physical contact and close proximity was normal and natural. When Lizzy answered Astra's query about paintball, the winged vampire's brows knitted together. "That sounds awfully violent. And painful," she added, eying the bruises on Lizzy's skin critically. She did not like it. Not one bit. "Did it happen in Professor Red's class?" she asked both ghouls.

When Shehk brought the djinn a pillow to perch on she couldn't help but beam at the other ghoul in gratitude before Natalia turned to look down at her, attention drawn by the gentle tugs on that magnificent tail. Her inquiry towards her injured ankle was sweet, though the nature of the question itself earned her a rather candid little twitch of dark lips. Almost a smirk. "For some things certainly, but not all. I won't be swimming anytime soon though, and that in itself is something of a tragedy for me." There was the barest hint of something within her tone, an answering lightness. In all seriousness though, she was fine, relatively, and would be perfectly mobile again in few more weeks.
As shehk took a seat to her side she nodded in response to her observation before blinking down at the bag in her lap. "Oh, I brought henna." She grinned at the Pricolici before opening the bag to dig the bottles out, holding them up so she, as well as Nat and Levi(as the ghoul had come to sit in front of her.) could see. They didn't look impressive. Just medium sized bottles with thin nozzled tops that hadn't had the tips cut off yet. "It's how I get the semi-permanent designs on skin, I thought maybe some of you might like some as well?"
Pulling her uninjured leg in to tuck her foot against her opposite thigh, she set the bottle in front of her, then set the bag on the bed behind her out of the way. She'd be more then happy to apply Henna to anyone that wanted it, but first there were introductions to make, and a few more faces were wandering in as well.
She'd turn to those across from her first though, extending a hand across the gap towards Levi. "Welcome to the academy, it's nice to meet you. I'm Hadiyya. You can call me Yaya though, if you prefer."
Tess would find a rather bright little smile aimed her way should she look down towards the water djinn, and Riley of course would get a warm rush of familiar fondness from the demoness after her voice faded from her head. The last ghoul to enter, a pixie perhaps, yaya wasn't familiar with in the least. She had the most unique little antenna though. Quite cute.
Pleasantries handled, Hadiyya leaned to rest her shoulder against that of the werelemur beside her, a hand casual wandering down to the length of tail so very close to her leg. Drawing that downy softness up and into lap where dark fingers to comb withing the alternating bands of colored fur.

"Its actually quite enjoyable, despite being painful when it hits... Oh, and the paint takes forever to remove from clothes!" Lizzy nodded with a bemused smile, tilting her head at Tess. When Red's class was mentioned, she was quick to shake her head before pausing, smiling sheepishly, "Oh, no! Professor Red's class was... Uh, something else all together, really... We had some paintball target practice during the Fitness Club meeting. In fact, we should play some time! Uh, not paintball though... Maybe laser tag? It'll be fun!"
Not that she had played it before, but she did come across it on the interweb, and it sounded a lot like paintball minus the paint and pain, and with guns too!
"Henna...?" Her attention soon shifted to Yaya and the bottles with her; the last time she had seen the ghoul was at the Truth or Dare game, where she had uh, comforted Christof. Before that, however, there was that incident in Sex Ed class; she was glad to see Sammy being such a good sport about it though.

Levi's tail changed position when the short doll-like ghoul huddled by her. Instead, it now gently lay on the floor curling around Lizzy but not with direct contact, it was just for the heat/fuzzy. The ghoul was small and Levi wasn't sure any constricting would be taken well. mmhmmm... climbin', hikin', swimmin, ...loads 'a ways ta pass the time up in the foggy mountains. Candy corn crops comin' ferm all angles of the fields. Never fails ta amaze regardliss of ma livin' there. Keep a few vines in my room She'd only just started to settle her plants in back at the dorm, but they seemed to be taking to the change in climate so far. They'd live through her stay, she thought.
Then there was a voice. It didn't seem to come from any certain ghoul in the room, even with the entry of some more ghouls. It didn't sound like Lizzy...or Holly... the two closest to her... looking down into her lap, her eyes widened. She whispered to it: Popcorn?... 'ya say somethin'? A fizzle of white smoke arose from the ornamental openings of the urn. Popcorn disagreed...? The ghouls golden eyes starred in disbelief. Was he just having a fit or something and didn't want to admit he spoke, or did he really not say anything?... truth be told, it wasn't a gruff voice. Sounded... like a ghoul. Levi's eyes lifted again and glanced around the room, watching for mouths moving. Wait...wait....
...no mouth. One of the entering ghouls had no mouth. Purple and with what looked like furless tatzel tails all over her head as if to create a...hairstyle? With movement. This was another new thing to investigate. A mouthless ghoul couldn't have a way to speak...could she? Levi didn't want to upset the ghoul if, in fact, she wasn't able to speak and so she kept her questions to herself. For now.
The floating pillow and Half-a-ghoul(?) also came around after a rather amusing entrance. These were also some fun folk! No legs, no mouths and folk as small as -I mean- just look at the size of that one! The white-haired ghoul's wide-eyed gaze continued. Staring at Astra as she came closer with Tess, Levi couldn't help but open her mouth. Mother'a Jack!...Ya'll'right there? Levi's first thought was that something that small might have difficultly with carrying objects largr than herself despite it being a pillow. Concerns were waved away when the tiny tiny ghoul placed the pillow down. The tatzel gave a nod in approval; the tiny tiny ghoul could handle that much.
Noticing the obvious friendship or recognition of Lizzy with Tess and Astra, Levi perked to introduce herself, tilting her head to meet Astra's eyes and then Tess'. Names Levi, ....Tess? and...Astra? is it? Mind'me usin' these names? Only been at the school fer a few. Gather not many know 'bout me right now. Pleasure ta'meetcha!
A hand was then offered from across the way with a gentle voice following it. The tanned ghoul who had an injury, it seemed. Poor doll. Ah- pleasure's all mine. Thank ya kindly. Yaya's got a might' fine ring to it. Once Yaya had settled back down, Levi piped up again with a question to the djinn. If ya dun mind ma askin' none, Yaya,...whatsa henna fer? I mean- markin's fer any ol' purpose? She spoke with innocent curiousity in her voice. The ghoul just wondered if there was meaning for Yaya in the inks and their patterns.
Lizzy seemed curious as well.

Maritess listened to Lizzy's narration with both concern and amusement. She couldn't fathom how shooting at each other with paint (hard-to-remove ones at that!) sounded like any fun. Of course given how she hadn't even tried it yet, it was unfair of her to immediately pass judgment. Besides, if Lizzy said it was fun, well, she would put faith in her taste. After all, videogames were rather fun. Once Tess got over the initial worry she might break something and would have to get a certain reaper boil to get her another one. No, she didn't want to have to make another business transaction with him any time soon.
And yet, Maritess couldn't quite warm up to the idea of shooting others for fun. It sounded more like battle-training. Or punishment. What sort of organization was this Fitness Club that they'd hold those kinds of events?
Thankfully, any further thought on the matter was pushed aside when the water djinn mentioned "Oh! Henna! Yaya told me that's what she used for the intricate designs on her skin. They're not tattoos at all," she added with some relief. She wasn't sure undead creatures had the necessary organic components for tattoos to stick. The winged ghoul gave Yaya a small smile in return to the earlier greeting and would have asked what had happened to her after they were thrown overboard by those franken-minipets when Levi introduced herself.
"I'm Maritess, actually, but you can call me Tess. Pleasure to make your acquaintance, Levi. Which dorm are you staying in?" It was second nature for the vampire to offer her hand during the introduction. Her free hand, of course. The other was quite content to stay connected with Lizzy's.

"I am sure there are ways I can help distract you from that temporary loss?" Readjusting herself to sit cross-legged, Natalia gave Yaya a look of blatant desire, quite pleased to hear that the ghoul was not too injured to...well. Play. Her smile peeled back to expose those alarmingly white canines, of which the djinn was all too familiar with, and clicked them together once. "I have experience in physical therapy, you know."
For a moment, she also flashed them at Levi and Lizzy, who had found their way over to Yaya as well.
But things were going on around them, and even if the demon's warmth and gentle touch made moving, even to simply turn her head, quite difficult, Natalia made the effort anyway. There were several ghouls readying themselves for a night filled with pillow fights or gossip--or whatever it was ghouls did at these things, blissfully unaware of the shark who scanned the open waters for another to add to her harem. But, if not for that reason Natalia bounced from face to face, trying to find those she recognized and those she would fancy speaking with later on down the road. As Yaya busied herself with talk of Henna and art of some sorts, which quite honestly did begin to pluck at her interest, the lemur monster gave the room a broad sweep.
There came a somewhat familiar face, if one could call it such...one that looked nothing like any she had ever seen before...before...Where was it that she had seen the ghoul, tentacles 'combed(?!)' back, eyes lacking color or pupils...no lips...OH, that's right! Truth or Dare. For some reason, the monster recalled a much shorter, dressier student, but they HAD been sitting around. And then the voice echoed in her head, and although she recalled this happening once before, it still took Natalia by surprise. Her orange eyes did not leave the demon dressed in red until behind her more ghouls began to filter in.
She would come back to the lip-less one later...yes.
In the mean time she watched and waited for those who peeked through the doors threshold to enter completely, offering a smile to the floating one with long black hair, the one who had given away all those boxes if she was correct...Guh, her name, if it had ever been given, escaped the lemur. And then soon after that there came a spritely looking ghoul with wings and antenna's, and oh what a lovely little shape she had. The height sort of reminded her of Whisper, sort of...which made her smile grow considerably.
She felt Yaya pressing against her then, glancing over wondering just how long the demon had been propped up there. Things were definitely beginning to get a little interesting, at least for the monster who sat idly--waiting for her moment to strike.

As Levi's tail came a curling around her, Lizzy giggled; she had noticed her tail (it was too long to miss, after all) but only now did she realize how... Well, furry it was. Gently, using her free hand, she stroked the tail, smiling when she realized that she was warm to the touch. Just as gently, she moved the tail so that it was now curled around her waist and resting on her lap; a nightgown is comfortable to sleep in, but not very warm, after all!
"You brought some of those... Candy corn vines to school?" She was definitely intrigued by that! While she doesn't have much interest in plants, she does want to see a candy corn plant for herself. In fact... Pausing momentarily, she looked thoughtful before continuing with a smile, "Mind if I go over to look at it some day?"
They might had just met, but she likes Levi already!
"Ohhh, is that so?" She tilted her head at Tess at her explanation, smiling fondly at the ghoul before shifting her attention back to Yaya, flashing the demoness a grin, "Sounds interesting! Did you come up with those designs yourself? They're very pretty..."
She was still unsure about Natalia, however, even if she did offer her a small smile when she glanced over; a bit sore from being overlooked? Still feeling uncomfortable with the way she was looking at Levi? Maybe... Just maybe a little bit of both.

Shehk grinned at the Mindflayer's appearance, settling in quite comfortably and offering Riley a wave back, tail thumping against the floor a few times. Skoll and Hati crawled off the bed and walked over to the Mindflayer and sniffed her hands, tails wagging anxiously at the familiar scent they caught on her.
The looks on their faces seemed to ask if there was a child of theirs hidden on their being. Shehk's expression tightened a bit at the pair before calling them back over to her, both wolves snuffling at their 'Alpha', before turning their attention on the other ghouls in the room, walking about and making 'rounds' to sniff at and wag tails.
Nuk Jr simply stayed perched on the bed, walking over to sit behind Shehk's corner like an unspoken guardian. Shehk reached up to pat the skinwalker's side. It was weird having a minipet named after a boyfriend.
"Not much has happened yet, Riley-dearie. However, I was wondering what you ghouls wanted to get started on. I personally would dig some good gossip, some of that lovely Henna of Yaya's and maybe a movie of some sort if anybody has any favorite they'd like to share~?"
The Pricolici stretched out, half sprawling herself on the floor.
"No concrete plan on my end, unfortunately. I've learned they never work out.
Y'know. Like 'Do not date the skinwalker'." She laughed at the end of the thought.

The glares has passed, all was well. Neither Yaya or Sammy had snapped at the other so for now all ways peace, at least begrudgingly peaceful. Had Natalia commented on Sammy and her... less then feminine appereance she would have simply shrugged her shoulder casually. She was, practical, in her opinion at least. If she wanted to dress up she would, and could, mostly with Siddie's help.
"Well I've been busyish, lately just taking care of the scareons and Siddie, but that's because of the last field trip." She glanced up at Riley and for a brief moment she didn't see her friend, but the three mangled slices that became of her when the blades had fallen. Shivering she squirmed around climbing onto Tahki's back again like on the trip before nuzzling into Tahki's neck feathers. "Just been a rough time lately ya know?"
Calming down she rolled over using Tahki as a large feathered pillow it was wonderful.
"We could attempt the failed movie night from when most of us got here? As for gossip..... not much to say really, haven't caused any trouble lately myself. Honestly. I didn't do it, any of it."

Holly looked to Levi. Hanging on things? True, that did sound like fun. She grinned. "Attacking boils huh? I think we'll be good friends if that's your idea of fun." Most of the other ghouls here didn't seem like that type, nice to find a kindred soul. She looked at the thing in the urn. "Nice to meet you Popcorn? Wait, you can grow candy corn." Learned something new every day!
She would have hugged Lizzy back but since the ghoul was behind her, it would have been difficult. "Lovely to be back, I agree." And alive, being dead a second time kind of sucked.
The ghoul waved to Tess. "Hey, good to see you again!" So many other's she hadn't seen in a while, awesome!

Riley barely lifted her head when Lizzy greeted her, but her responding expression was fond, and warm. Lovely to see you as always, Lizzy. She murmured quietly, and turned to nod to Yaya with a touch of mischief. And you as well of course, lovely miss.
Then Shehk's two canines came sniffing, and she reached out to brush her hand across the top of each one. She had left her younger pup at home, but she knew they could smell her on them. Your spawn is doing quite well, she's made herself at home. Riley spoke to the canines, as if they could understand her. Then her eyes turned up to Shehk. She has become quite the hunter, and still so young. A very cherished companion indeed.
As Astra fluttered in and made herself comfortable, chattering away with her friends, Riley took a brief moment to look the fairy over. She'd taken quite a hit at the paintball match, moreso than any other, and Riley had been worried. She seemed to be doing well, however, which allowed her worry to ebb.

Flicking her gaze between Sammy and Shehk (although she still wasn't sure what the undead ghouls name was), the werelemur shook her head some and then frowned. There was...drama for the monster, but none of which she truly wanted to share.
"Same here. I'm looking forward to whatever ends up happening tonight." Again there was a hint of foul play in her words. The good kind. The sensual kind. But as quickly as it came, she spoke again rid herself of the implications--perhaps out of the discomfort that followed her initial thoughts..."Annnd, I would fancy a good story or two. I have been out of the loop of things as of late." Settling back further, with Yaya still at her side Natalia breathed out a sigh. The canines that moved about the room caught her attention momentarily, the end of her tail lifting and then falling in what looked to be a failed wag.
The monster liked pets, especially the furry kind.

Glancing back at Natalia she raised an eyebrow slightly at the look she was given, not sure if the girl was okay or not. She shifted slightly glancing at Riley with a chuckle, "Mine took to the Scareons, it follows Omen around sleeping in sun spots all the time now. Not a hunter, but a good lap dog just like the Scareons." At this moment Ixxy reapeared from under the bed making a line straight towards Natalia, or rather her tail. The water Scareon hopped right into the pile of fur assuming it was nothing more then a very comfy bed.
"Well, it seems like Ixxy likes you well enough. As for good stories, I don't really have many? I guess I could start by saying Altair is a sleez ball who won't stop poking his nose in Nuk and Shehk's buisness and thought it would be a good idea during fitness club to make eyes at Siddie."
She glanced at Riley again putting on the best apologetic face for her, "I maaaay have made a few choice threats to a club member about finding a paintball gun shoved where no moon would shine..."
