"I've got something.. but it's going to take me a few seconds to concentrate enough. And then.. I don't want to hit you." He received an apologetic look, well aware of the dilema she'd left him with. How could he stop it or keep it busy while still staying out of the way? She'd never ever forgive herself if something happened to him because of her attack.
There wasn't time to debate though, she watched the small chain loop around the monster. Stepping aside so that the projectile would have a clear shot, she positioned herself, closing her eyes as she concentrated on the piece of metal.

"Don't worry about me." He called when she said she had something. "I'll see it coming if it's big enough." He wasn't worried about getting hit, heck as long as it dusted the youma it wouldn't matter.
He could jump out of the way and retrieve his chain after the monster was dusted, he just needed it to make contact. He was struggling to keep the youma in place playing tug of war with his chain, it wasn't his favorite thing.
Being this close he aimed a punch at it before drawing back watching for Polaris' magic.

She hoped he was right.
"Super Magnetic Field!" As the words slipped from her lips the piece of metal began to shiver, lifting from the ground before hurling itself at the speedy youma.
Stay back, stay back, she willed Azzo silently in the split seconds it took for the projectile to cross the distance between them. If it did hit it would certainly do some serious damage.

Niflhel heard her attack and no sooner than she yelled, he saw a piece of metal flying towards them. "See you next fall." He said as he dashed out of the way keeping the chain tight for just a second longer.
There was an audible sound of the metal colliding with the monster before the poof of dust. Niflhel frowned slightly as he was dusted with youma, only a few inches away from the actual impact zone.
"Now that's what you call a close call." He grinned as he tugged the chain out from under that large piece of metal. "Nice find, now should we put it back or leave it?" He asked jokingly.

Monster dusted and out of the way Polaris took no time at all to approach her friend, starring at him all the more interestedly. She could see his features there, beneath the uniform and glamour, but it looked so much more regal now. Almost confident.. handsome even.
His words drew him from her stare and she offered him a small laugh. "It looks like trash to me, so I doubt anyone will miss it" Not like the occassional set of car keys or jewelry that she accidentally stole.
"Are you alright?" She asked, more out of reflex then anything, because her eyes were still transfixed, falling to the chain he held. She wasn't sure what had happened to him. He wasn't a senshi.. that much she could feel. But there was a definate drumming of power radiating from him.. and thankfully despite his weapon.. it was a comforting and warm glow. So not a senshi.. AND not the negaverse?

Niflhel looked at the piece of metal, "Unless they're a metal crafter, but eh no use in crying over spilled milk." He shook his head and shrugged as he started to walk again, figuring Polaris would follow him.
"Yeah." He answered with a pause, "It's just a little weird to have a sudden influx of information." He said, even if it was a small one there was still enough there to drive him nuts trying to sort it all out. Since it was mostly a jumbled mess. "Anyways, apparently I'm called Niflhel..."

Follow she did, taking up pace almost beside him. Niflhel... It wasn't the name of any star she knew.. nor a mineral. Though she'd certainly be all over the encyclopedias and internet when she got home.
Thinking out loud she mused lightly. "You didn't even need a cat or a corruption or anything either. How very strange..."
There was one very clear fact however, after so long of trying to find his place in everything, Azzo had finally been given his wish. And something very odd happened.
"I'm so happy for you!" She gushed happily, her arms slinging around his neck, as she hopped up on her tiptoes in a congratulatory hug.

Niflhel chuckled, "If I'm not mistaken, Niflhel is sorta like Niflheim from Norse Mythology..." He paused, "A spirit world." He was looking at the chain's handle.
"Cat? Corruption?" He paused looking at her, "So that's how senshi are awaken? And the Negaverse?" He asked tilting his head. Perhaps it was strange but Azzo didn't seem to mind it.
He did however squeak when she wrapped her arms around him. "Hahaha thanks." He patted her on the back for a second trying not to let on that in itself was awkward for him.

The hug didn't last for long. The fact that he didn't return it helped, but it was more a realization of how girly and young the action had been. Slipped back down to her feet, she looked sheepish for a brief moment before responding. "Yeah, guardian cats wake up senshi. They just appear and create these special pens that allow us to transform. Every once in awhile they'll grant us more power too. I've actually had three different cats..."
"And I've heard that the negaverse are corrupted. They do something bad to your starseed." She tapped her chest lightly, not feeling it necessary to explain what one was. He knew.. whether he knew what the name was or not.
"But you.. you're like something I've never seen before." Admiring him once again, she added lightly, fidgeting with her own revealing fuku. "I really like your outfit."

It wasn't that it was a girly and young action, it was that Niflhel wasn't use to such actions. Niflhel seemed to ponder when the mention of guardian cats doing that were confirmed. "So that's what she does..." He seemed interested by this info mind flicking back to his meeting with Zirconia. "They talk right?" He added for conformation.
"Yeah.... apparently something other than stealing it." He wrinkled his nose.
He paused, "Page... I think, if my storybook knowledge doesn't fail me that eventually translates into a knight." He shook his head, "I'm not completely sue but it makes sense."
He was looking at it and then back to the h that was basically what he used as a handle. "I like it too. What I can see of it." He was adjusting his sleeves, "I'm not sure but I have a feeling the h is associated with Saturn." His nose wrinkled.

"Yes they talk" She nodded, not in the least surprised that Azzo might have run into one in the past. He'd met princesses after all. He was like a magnet for the strange and wonderful.
Page.. knight. She filed the information back in her mind. It there was a new faction it was important stuff to know. They were good though, or atleast he was. "A knight in shining armor huh?" She grinned as she spoke the words. It fit really.
"Saturn huh?" Did the knights correspond to planets the way that senshi corresponded with stars? That would make some sense. And it reminded her.
"I was kind of afraid to take you before because I wasn't sure what would happen to someone who wasn't.. you know. But maybe you can come visit my home star sometime. There is a whole word there, strange huh?"

"Yeah.... I found that out the hard way." He said looking at Polaris. "It's not everyday you get a cat that talks back."
He chuckled "I suppose you could say that. Though..." He looked at his outfit. "I don't see any armor so to speak." It was true, if he was a knight in shining armor, shouldn't he have.... some sort of armor? Ah well.
"Yeah, at least it's there... in the hubub of the information." He wrinkled his nose, "I'll probably end up having to find some sort of white board or something and making a map real quick so I can sort it all out." He rubbed the bridge of his nose. There was a jumble of information that made it seem like a ton.
"That would be interesting.... wait you can visit stars?" He paused, he wasn't good in science but he knew from them... "... aren't those big balls of gas?" Yes, his mind was blown. For everything weird and magical he'd seen going into space was by far the weirdest idea.

"Maybe you'll get more armor when you're finally a knight." She teased mildly.
He received a knowing nod though when he gave her that look of surprise. "That was what I thought too! But it's more than that. Mine has a lot of snow. And a big city"
"Noone else is there anymore.. but it's still an interesting place to visit." She often wondered if she could rebuild her world.. or how one even started such a momenteous task, but it wasn't a philosophical decision for now.
She still couldn't believe what had happened tonight. It literally had her mind reeling.

Niflhel shook his head, "One would hope." He seemed amused, "Actually this looks more like Gothic period clothing, Victorian, Shakespearean. I'm not sure they actually wore armor back then. It would be interesting to see if it's incorporated somehow though."
He tilted his head at the mention of snow, "I'll remember to bring a parka or two." He said with a smile, "Obviously if it's snowing we'd need it... or at least you need it." He was looking at her, it was more worry than poking fun.
He pondered. "I bet it's pretty. I love the concept of ghost towns." He added, "Gramps always told stories about the old west and how there's ghost towns. It's very interesting stuff to learn." He added with a nod.
This night had a lot happen in a little amount of time Niflhel stretched, "Want some hot chocolate or something? I know a little cafe just down the street. I can get us something. That way you don't have to power up and down." He seemed like he didn't mind, obviously it was probably easier for him to do it anyways... plus... Hot chocolate. "WE can find a roof to sit on to drink it." He added.

She frumped a little at his suggestion, never liking to be reminded of her bare stomach and shoulders. "I have a cloak for going..."
She nodded to his suggestion, wondering what kind of looks he might get in his outfit. Granted it wasn't as strange as hers but.. it wasn't your everyday attire.
"It is pretty. But it's kind of sad too. All those things just abandoned, all those people gone."
"Sometimes I can see things.. like little clips of the past. Maybe it's just my imagination though.. My brain making up things after being alone for so long." It would be strange though if it was just her imagination.. unless her imagination seemed bent on teaching her a lesson with each little flash.
