"Worst case scenario we can call in the firefighters with the jaws of life!" He bantered back playfully, shooing her off with his hands to get her head start. "But that's a problem for later. You might just decide you never want to take it off."
He gave her more then a couple seconds, giving the girl a full thirty or so to get comfortable with the large room.
It was massive, with winding paths that went up above into makeshift castles, and others that wound down and around the floor level. The strobing lights and occassional smoke could also make it a little difficult to orient oneself the first few times.
He entered perhaps too cockily, strolling through the familar pathways casually, gun pointed forward and ready to shoot. He wasn't paying too much attention though to the fake trees that lined the path.. and all the tiny nooks and crannies.
He was looking for blinking lights in the distance, not having expected her to hide.

She waited for a while till she saw the lights on his top flashing. She then held her breath and waited for him to appear in view a bit better before shooting and moving, quickly and quietly trying to keep her own lights covered. When his lights turned off briefly while he was 'dead' she got a little annoyed as she still had a perfect shot. Damn it.
She smiled though and ran looking for another hiding place. She wanted to win this now and she couldn't help but think she may have a good chance. As long as Corey didn't find her of course!

A familiar sound buzzed from his vest, indicating he'd been hit before his lights flashed off for a few seconds.
Sneaky little girl!
So that's how she wanted to play huh? He was fairly impressed, it wasn't a beginner strategy, but that didn't mean she'd win!
He'd just have to be more diligent, and luckily for Corey he knew this place like the back of his hand.
Gun gripped more tightly she scanned the area for her lights, or the reflection of her lights off of other things, trying to keep his pursuit as silent as possible.
His lights were back on so as soon as he saw those blinking colors, he'd be taking the shot.

She found somewhere else to hide but it was no where near as well hidden as the other places she had found. She bit her lip a little and listened to see what direction he was in.
She couldn't hear much though and so she moved again, trying hard to let her lights show but there is only so much you can do!
She could hope he wouldn't see her before she saw him, right?

You couldn't really hear much of anything in the arena. The music and bass flooded your senses hiding things like footsteps. He'd been playing for long enough though that he didn't need sound to hunt out his prey.
There was a flash of color that wasn't simply the wall and strobe lights, Corey pressing up against the wall as he followed after. His gun proceeded him, getting off a few shots before one landed, her vest buzzing and blinking off.
Grinning like a fool he headed off in the other direction, intent on heading up to the second level for awhile in hopes of picking her off down below.

No!
She saw her vest turn off and cursed under her breath. She looked around trying to work out where it was he had come from. Behind. It had to be. She turned and headed that way, trying to move quickly before her vest came on.
Corey....
She called to him in her head as if he was her prey she was trying to lure out. However she wasn't having much luck. Where was he?
She shot her gun at the wall as it came back to life, probably not helping the fact that she didnt want him to find her either but she couldn't see him!
